Sarah Gadon joined co-stars Mia Wasikowska and Julianne Moore on the red carpet this evening (May 19) for the ‘Maps To The Stars’ premiere during the 67th Annual Cannes Film Festival in Cannes, France.

The actress looked very graceful wearing an Armani Privé Spring 2014 long blue crinoline lace bustier dress, embroidered with Swarovski crystals, overlaid on a silk jacquard fabric with blue and white tie-inspired patterns.

Embodying the spirit of old-Hollywood glamour, she swept her hair into a chic updo, with dazzling diamond-encrusted cluster earrings and a red lip completing her look.

Jess Weixler attended the ‘Foxcatcher’ premiere during the 67th Annual Cannes Film Festival this evening (May 19) in Cannes, France.

After her meh showing for her own premiere on Saturday evening, ‘The Good Wife’ actress stepped things up several notches, wearing a stunning Armani Privé Fall 2013 gown embroidered with black chenille polka dots on black tulle with vertical stripe motifs in chenille and black rhinestones.

I’m sure many of you have been waiting for this to glide down the red carpet, and Jess more than does it justice.

Opting for very simple styling, she added diamond-encrusted earrings while sweeping her hair back into a braided updo.

I love a quick turnaround. Bravo.

Best Dressed Of The Week – Blake Lively in Gucci Première, Cate Blanchett In Armani Privé, Ryan Reynolds in Gucci & Benedict Cumberbatch in Ralph Lauren

BDOTW Cannes

With so much going on this weekend I almost forgot to announce who was best dressed of the week.

Well, it was a two-way tie between Blake Lively in Gucci Première and Blake Lively in Gucci Première. While I believed her opening ceremony gown was the better of the two, it would appear you guys loved them both equally.

My choice was the great Cate Blanchett in Armani Privé. What can I say; it’s a match made in fashion heaven.

When it came to the fellas, you gave Ryan Reynolds in Gucci the top honour this week. I, on the other hand, was swept away by Benedict Cumberbatch in his impeccable Ralph Lauren Black Label suit.

Cate Blanchett attended the Vanity Fair And Armani Party held during the 67th Annual Cannes Film Festival on Saturday (May 17) in Cap d’Antibes, France.

Looking regal wearing Armani Privé, the actress didn’t add too many accessories to detract from her stunning dress.

I love the lightly embellished detailing, the gold lace overlay and that barely seen organza peplum detail which cascades down the back.

Sadly, no full-length picture is available, but I’m sure she was perfection from head to toe. This is Cate Blanchett, after all.

Suki Waterhouse In Armani Privé & Peter Pilotto – Cannes Film Festival Parties

Suki Waterhouse In Armani Privé & Peter Pilotto - Cannes Film Festival Parties

Making her Cannes Film Festival debut, model Suki Waterhouse is attracting big name designers as she continues on the busy party circuit.

Vanity Fair and Armani Party: On Saturday (May 17) Suki wore a Middle Eastern inspired printed full skirt and fitted jacket from the Armani Prive Spring 2014 collection. While it’s unusual to see the young model so covered up, it is equally as great to see Suki try out a new silhouette. I particular love the way Suki has contrasted the rich blue palette and luxurious silk fabric with unkempt hair, a signature flick of eyeliner and not much else. A little bit of London cool girl and a little bit of Cannes makes this a great evening look for Suki.

Relativity at 10 Party: Attending the Relativity at 10 luncheon the following day (May 18) Suki switched up her style once again in a strapless floral Peter Pilotto dress. Perfect for the midday Cannes sunshine, this look was much more fresh and romantic. While I think stringer make-up would have help give the look a lift, it’s suitably feminine, flirty and with a sporty feel and a great choice for the young star. While I don’t love the shoes, a white sandal does say more daytime than a pointed court would have done.

Out of the looks, the first is my favourite. Not just for the styling, but for the fact it’s much more unique and shows off Suki’s quirky styling abilities.
