Juliette Binoche attended the premiere of ‘The Wait’ at the 2015 Venice Film Festival on Saturday (September 5) in Venice, Italy.

Normally gravitating towards traditional sophistication, the French actress put on the ritz this time around in an all-over beaded Armani Privé Fall 2015 dégradé gown in peacock shades.

Equally attention-grabbing was the plunge neckline, which had been modified from the runway version, but I just wanted to cut off the long fringe at the sleeves.

Chopard jewels, while lovely, had little chance of competing with such a dress while a sleekly structured hairstyle brought in a measure of classic refinement to this dazzling, va-voom entrance.

Elisa Sednaoui attended the ‘Everest’ premiere which was part of the opening ceremony of the 2015 Venice Film Festival on Wednesday (September 2).

As the festival hostess she didn’t disappoint, looking resplendent in Armani Privé.

This simple, classic silhouette seems to be favour for this festival, perhaps in a bid shake things up from snooze-fest that was Cannes Film Festival.

Once again the look was enhanced with a selection of jewels from Buccellati.

Sophie Marceau In Vionnet, Saint Laurent, Balmain & Armani Privé – Cannes Film Festival Red Carpet Roundup

Sophie Marceau In Vionnet, Saint Laurent, - Cannes Film Festival Red Carpet Roundup

Sophie Marceau has been busy making the rounds at the 68th annual Cannes Film Festival, attending four different premieres over the last week in Cannes, France.

‘The Sea of Trees’ Premiere: While I appreciated her willingness to go left in the sea of glittery Cannes gowns with this black-and-white Vionnet design, this mod hybrid look simply made me wish for either the leather jumpsuit or the full Grecian-style gown in its entirety rather than unusually fused together.

‘Shan He Gu Ran’ Premiere: Here, the French beauty does abide by Cannes’ dazzling dress code in her Saint Laurent multicolour front-slit, backless gown. Ordinarily, I would have nixed the bejeweled earrings given the high-octane shine of the dress, but when in Cannes…

Cate Blanchett In Armani Privé – ‘Sicario’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere

Cate Blanchett In Armani Privé - ‘Sicario’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere

Cate Blanchett attended the premiere of ‘Sicario’ during the 68th annual Cannes Film Festival on Tuesday (May 19) in Cannes, France.

As it wasn’t her movie, perhaps Cate made an effort to take a backseat when she opted to wear this Armani Privé Spring 2015 black gown.

The issue is when you are Cate Blanchett, there are no backseats to be had –this subdued offering still screams elegance.

Some might not be wowed, but this understated look still grabbed my attention.

After attending the photocall, Naomi Watts was back on the red carpet for the premiere of ‘The Sea of Trees’ at the 68th annual Cannes Film Festival on Saturday (May 16) in Cannes, France.

While she earlier injected a hit of colour to her look, the actress returned to a more muted palette in a gray and black Armani Privé Spring 2015 backless gown enhanced by tiered layers and the bamboo motif that was seen throughout the collection.

Flanked by two handsome topics in Matthew McConaughey and Chris Sparling, she looked nothing if not sophisticated.

Effortless elegant styling elevated the dress, too, with diamond earrings, simple black sandals, and a modern knotted updo completing the look.
