Jessica Chastain In Alexander McQueen – ‘Ismael’s Ghosts’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere

Also gracing the red carpet of the 2017 Cannes Film Festival opening ceremony and premiere of ‘Ismael’s Ghosts on Wednesday (May 17), was Jessica Chastain.

The star wore a stunningly detailed Alexander McQueen Pre-Fall 2017 gown that held its own surrounded by a sea of fashionable moments.

While the intricately embroidered velvet bodice is certainly the talking point of this piece, what I can’t seem to tear my eyes from is the bottom of the bodice–the lines are so unique and so perfectly placed on Jessica’s legs, it is simply masterful design and tailoring work.

The actress opted for a slightly less sheer skirt than the lookbook version, which was tasteful and smart for the occasion, and every single carefully thought out styling element from her dazzling diamond and ruby collar necklace to her ruby lips and manicure are divine.

‘Can’t Stop, Won’t Stop: A Bad Boy Story’ London Screening

A dynamic trio of trend-forward stars were at the screening of ‘Can’t Stop, Won’t Stop: A Bad Boy Story’ in London on Tuesday (May 16).

Salma Hayek: Salma prettified this Gucci Resort 2017 ensemble by wearing the strong, plaid skirt with a feminine ruffle blouse and sculpted heels, although the leather jacket did contribute a tougher edge. It was a solid effort for Salma; I was just slightly bothered by the fit of the skirt around the hips, as I would have preferred a more streamlined finish.

Lupita Nyong’o: I was delighted to see Lupita back on the red carpet in this statement-making Fendi Spring 2017 ensemble that brought in her love of bold hues with the red turtleneck sweater. It takes a certain talent to pull off the directional edge of the crop top and those cropped parachute pants, and she definitely fit the bill. Plus, her styling and her beauty look were on point from top to toe.

Naomi Campbell: The supermodel was not ready to bid adieu to sheer yet, as she wore it in a lace top with this decorative, sexy spin on suiting from the Alexander McQueen Spring 2017 collection. Her sleek bob helped increase the chic factor of the look.

Deepika Padukone In Alexander McQueen – L’Oreal Paris Unveils The Cannes Collection 2017

‘The Cannes Collection 2017’ was unveiled by Deepika Padukone for L’Oreal Paris at Taj Land’s End on Friday (May 5) in Mumbai, India.

Her satin Tommy Hilfiger Met Gala gown didn’t go down to well with the majority of you, so I’m intrigued to know what you think this Alexander McQueen Spring 2017 dress.

Dramatically elegant with puffed shoulders and a grown-up approach to the traditional bandana pattern, the look is further enlivened with cut-outs to flaunt its feminine elements.

I expected red sandals, however Deepika opted for a pink pair from Giuseppe Zanotti, with a red lip rounding out this impressive look.

Deepika, who has been recently made the global brand ambassador for L’Oreal Paris, will represent India at Cannes this year along with Sonam Kapoor and Cannes queen Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

Zoe Saldana In Sies Marjan & Alexander McQueen – Good Morning America, SiriusXM & ‘Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2’ New York Screening

Zoe Saldana has been in New York City on the latest leg of her ‘Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2’ promo tour, where three appearances called for three looks on Wednesday (May 3).

Good Morning America: Her first stop of the day saw her in a Sies Marjan dress styled with Christian Louboutin ‘Pigalle Follies’ pumps. This warm, coppery hued design had much potential, but with minimalist looks such as this, every flaw becomes more pronounced. Here, it was the creases that really took over.

SiriusXM: Proving that opposites really do attract, Zoe paired the feminine delicacy of a floral, chiffon-like blouse with the studded edginess of cropped trousers. Her bright magenta lip provided the perfect girly finish.

‘Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2’ New York Screening: It was time to up the drama for the NYC screening, and Zoe set the tone in an Alexander McQueen Fall 2017 gown. I can see why she chose this look, as the gold netting provided a gilded approach to what could be called a galactic-glam peasant dress. Her last last premiere look was met with mixed reviews, so where does this one land for you?

Anna Wintour In Chanel Couture & Bee Shaffer In Alexander McQueen – 2017 Met Gala

Anna Wintour and Bee Shaffer reprised their role as the ultimate mother-daughter duo at the 2017 Met Gala on Monday (May 1) in New York City.

Staying true to form, they wore respective Chanel and Alexander McQueen looks, as they do each year.

As co-host of the evening, Anna was the belle of the ball in a custom Chanel glittering confection that was inspired by the house’s recent Spring 2017 Haute Couture collection. It was a fantasy of golden paillette embellishment, accented by the capricious fancy of a fur-collared skirt. The necklace struck me as quite unnecessary, though, as perhaps she should have followed Coco’s sage advice to remove one thing before leaving the house.

Accompanied by fiancée Francesco Carrozzini, Bee took a romantic turn in a custom Alexander McQueen Fall 2017 tapestry gown by Sarah Burton that had more of a medieval heroine vibe than anything else—especially with her long, lovely braid.
