Cheryl Cole In Alexander McQueen & J Brand – X Factor Edinburgh Auditions

Cheryl Cole In Alexander McQueen & J Brand - X Factor Edinburgh Auditions

The next stop on the X Factor audition trail for Cheryl Cole was Scotland, where the beautiful singer was spotted headed to the Edinburgh venue today (1 July).

Cheryl wore an Alexander McQueen Resort 2014 clean-lined tunic cut from canvas featuring white patch pockets.

I would’ve loved her to have teamed her tunic with a cream mini (possibly layered) skirt for a more feminine finish; however, she opted to wear J Brand leather leggings and the same white Rupert Sanderson pumps she wore to the London auditions.

This black, white and cream theme à la Nicola Peltz is starting to get a wee bit tired, but then again her only detour to colour wasn’t a successful one.

Her ombre tresses were pulled back into a sleek ponytail with a gold cuff and glossy lips completing her look.

Nice, but slightly underwhelming at the same time.

Elle Fanning In Alexander McQueen – ‘Maleficent’ Japan Premiere

Elle Fanning In Alexander McQueen - 'Maleficent' Japan Premiere

Elle Fanning attended the ‘Maleficent’ Japan premiere held at Ebisu Garden Place on Monday (June 23) in Tokyo, Japan.

The actress has stuck to an ethereal princess-like look which hasn’t strayed too far from her character in the movie, and that trend continued today.

Elle wore an Edwardian-style Alexander McQueen Fall 2014 ivory moon-and-star-embroidered silk tulle feather-hem gown styled with wavy tresses and a few rings.

You may remember that Marion Cotillard wore a similar dress to the amfAR Cannes Gala, heavily lining the piece so the embroidery wasn’t at all visible.

Elle opted to wear a tonal bodysuit instead to ensure that the exquisite detailing could be seen and that the very essence of the look was kept very much intact.

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge In Alexander McQueen – Bletchley Park Visit

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge In Alexander McQueen - Bletchley Park Visit

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge paid an official visit to Bletchley Park on today (June 18) in Bletchley, England.

She was wearing Alexander McQueen once again, which was also a re-run.

The Duchess first wore this Alexander McQueen Pre-Fall 2011 miltary blouse with navy trims, gold button-fastening epaulets and military-style frogging with a wool-crepe skirt with gold anchor-embossed buttons back in 2011 while on a visit to Birmingham.

This was one of Catherine’s rare chic looks before she became the Queen of repeats and coat dresses.

Many of you have asked why I continue to feature her.

Perhaps out of some sense of duty, but mostly I’m hoping she will turn things around.

FYI, I am not holding my breath.

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge In Alexander McQueen – Queen Elizabeth II’s Official Birthday

Queen Elizabeth II's Birthday Parade: Trooping The Colour

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, joined Prince William, Prince Harry and their grandfather Prince Philip to celebrate Queen Elizabeth II’s official birthday with an impressive Trooping the Colour parade, which they watched from the balcony of the Royal Horseguards in London, England, on Saturday (June 14).

The Duchess wore a pale blue brocade Alexander McQueen jacket over a matching dress colour-coordinated with her Jane Taylor hat.

How is this McQueen? Well, if you look closely enough you can make out a few of the brand’s signature skulls woven into the fabric.

Catherine accessorized with a pearl brooch and Annoushka earrings.

I can’t say I am impressed with this look; quelle surprise, I find it quite aging for Kate and the colour a tad dull.

Best Dressed Of The Week – Queen Máxima of The Netherlands In Jan Taminiau Couture, Kiernan Shipka In Mary Katrantzou & Robert Pattinson In Alexander McQueen

Best Dressed Of The Week - Queen Máxima of The Netherlands In Jan Taminiau Couture, Kiernan Shipka In Mary Katrantzou & Robert Pattinson In Alexander McQueen

Whether she upstaged the bride or dressed as she should, like a Queen, Queen Máxima of the Netherlands in Jan Taminiau Couture was your best dressed this week.

I, as always, was swept away by Kiernan Shipka in her colourful Mary Katrantzou frock, which was paired with some complementary accessories.

Rob Pattinson dressed in blue Alexander McQueen took your fancy this week, and I would have to agree as I am partial to a non-black, slim-fit suit.
