Solange Knowles In Twenty8Twelve – ‘Everything or Nothing: The Untold Story of 007′ New York Screening

Solange Knowles brightened up the red carpet at the ‘Everything or Nothing: The Untold Story of 007′ screening at MOMA in New York City yesterday evening.

Always one to be daring on the red carpet, the singer wore an Twenty8Twelve look.

Her pink short suit with folded details was styled with a checked Preen top, which complemented her Nicholas Kirkwood bow front sandals.

I also adore her Charlotte Olympia Perspex clutch with a fun Union Jack pouch.

Whilst I love the look, which has so many interesting elements, I am slightly bothered by the front zipper on her short. I wish it was place at the back or been a lot less visible.

Solange Knowles In Esteban Cortazar – Barack Obama Fundraiser

Last month Solange Knowles attended a glamorous fundraiser for President Barack Obama hosted by sister Beyonce and brother-in-law Jay-Z at the 40/40 Club in New York City.

The stylish star, who’s usually fond of colour, donned all white again as she made her way into the event.

I adore her Esteban Cortazar Resort 2013 cape-back jacket. It is the hero piece of this look and she wore it with a silk shirt and a leather, twill and duchess-satin mini skirt with gold hardware.

Celebs have been falling in love with Tom Ford shoes lately and Solange is not immune to the allure of his sexy strappy sandals.

A Kayu ‘Audrey’ shell purse with a dainty top-handle and Carelle jewels completed her look.

Best Dressed Of The Week – Emilia Clarke In Chanel & Solange Knowles In Rubin Singer

Emilia Clarke took home the prize of Best Dressed this week for her Chanel Resort 2013 dress which she wore to the 2012 Emmy Awards last Sunday.

Even though many of you complained about the so-so nude pumps, wishing she’d opted for a purple pair, her charming dress and gorgeous smile was enough to secure her win.

With my mild obsession with all things Solange Knowles, I couldn’t help but give my girl the win in her stunning, yet simple Rubin Singer gown.

Gold jewels, a teased ‘fro and a gorgeous red lip colour all helped enhance the look.

Solange Knowles In Rubin Singer – amfAR Benefit Gala 2012

Solange Knowles looked uber glam on the red carpet for the amFAR Gala 2012 in Milan this weekend.

The DJ/singer wore a Rubin Singer gown.

Her crisp white long-sleeve gown with a cowl back and long draped fabric over the shoulders is just the breathtaking piece we’ve come to expect from the fashion-forward star.

Gold accessories including Jimmy Choo ‘Loila’ sandals and a stack full of bracelets accessorized her look while bold red lips and her signature ‘fro provided the finishing touches.

Solange Knowles For Madewell’s Fall 2012 Ad Campaign

Solange Knowles has been revealed as the face of Madewell’s Fall 2012 ad campaign, ‘Mix Well. Madewell’.

The premise of the campaign is in the title as the brand encourages us to mix things up by styling boyfriend jeans with colourful pumps, yellow in this case – not surprisingly as this is Solange’s favourite colour.

Also featured in the video are denim jackets, sweaters, a cardigan with stripes, a printed frock, a colourful geometric-print top, and a polka-dot blazer which is paired with light denim shirt for an interesting combo.

We’ve loved Solange for her mix-and-match style, so it’s no wonder Madewell snapped her up as their ambassador for this campaign.

I don’t know about you, but after watching that video, I have several pieces on my want list starting with that polka-dot blazer.
