2015 Coachella Music Festival Style Roundup

Coachella 1

When it comes to the Coachella Music Festival, boho style reigns supreme—right down to the ubiquitous flower crowns. This past weekend brought out a full range of Coachella cool-kids who marched to the beat of their own hippie drum in Indio, California.

Kendall Jenner: Infusing her Day 1 Coachella style with decidedly western appeal, the model paired her Derek Lam 10 Crosby Spring 2015 suede vest with a striped bikini top, ripped jorts, and Saint Laurent snakeskin booties. A tribal collar necklace and stacks of bangles took the look to the next level with a typical fringe hobo bag rounding it out.

Alessandra Ambrosio: Channeling her inner cowgirl during the fest and at the Forever 21 BBQ, the Brazilian supermodel naturally wore a skin-is-in look anchored by her Forever 21 suede fringe halter top and teeny cutoff denim shorts. I loved the addition of her turquoise jewelry, tall cowboy boots, and wide-brimmed cowboy hat for plenty of kitschy fun.

Gigi Hadid: Rocking another look with plenty of fringe benefits, Gigi was spotted on Day 2, where she added chains and charm to her ensemble consisting of an ASOS fringe suede collar, black cutoffs, a Guess body chain, and H&M ankle boots. With her long blonde windswept waves, she managed to put an adorable spin on Coachella dressing.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley In Antonio Berardi & Balmain – The Universal Music Brits Party

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley In Antonio Berardi & Balmain - The Universal Music Brits Party

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley didn’t attend the main event, but she was spotted on the red carpet for the Universal Music Brits party held at The Soho House Pop-Up on Wednesday (February 25) in London, England.

The model wore a chic Antonio Berardi Fall 2015 gold crystal mini sheath dress, styled with a black Balmain blazer and simple matching accessories including the increasingly popular Jimmy Choo ‘Minnie’ sandals.

I prefer the look without the bold-shoulder blazer, which feels a bit dated even though Balmain trot them out season after season, but on a cold, wet night this piece was no doubt required for comfort rather than style.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley In Anthony Vaccarello – 2015 Elle Style Awards

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley In Anthony Vaccarello - 2015 Elle Style Awards

Fresh off a plane from LA where she attended the Vanity Fair Oscar Party, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley attended the 2015 Elle Style Awards on Tuesday (February 24) in London, England, where she was named ‘Model of the Year’.

Strides ahead of the style pack and oozing plenty of sex appeal (without trying too hard) from every pore, the model blew me away wearing an Anthony Vaccarello Spring 2015 dress.

Can you imagine how bad this would look in the wrong hands? *coughs* Anna Dello Russo *coughs*

In the right hands, the look is modern, seductive and in this case styled to perfection.

I strongly believe this new hair cut has given her a new lease of life; she’s even more captivating than she was before.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley In Alexandre Vauthier Couture – 2015 Vanity Fair Oscar Party

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley In Alexandre Vauthier Couture - 2015 Vanity Fair Party

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley sizzled at the 2015 Vanity Fair Party at Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts on Sunday (February 22) in Beverly Hills, California.

The model wore a green sequined Alexandre Vauthier Couture gown featuring a t-strap back and open back panels from the designer’s Spring 2015 Couture collection.

It’s hard not to look good when you’re Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, and this look is no exception. In fact, I’d say she gives the runway model a run for her money! The deep shade of green is striking, while the peek-a-boo intricacies on the back and sides are fun aesthetic details.

A tousled lob, bronzed cheeks, slight cat-eyes and rich, matte lips complete the effortlessly sexy appeal of the look.

Tom Ford Fall 2015 Front Row

Tom Ford Fall 2015 Front Row

While some editors and models were headed to London for round two of fashion month, Anna Wintour, Karlie Kloss and Joan Smalls headed west for the Tom Ford Fall 2015 show which was showcased in LA on Friday (February 20).

The result, a packed A-List front row of which nineteen looks have been featured.

With the Oscars on Sunday and with everyone in town, it was quite a master-stroke to host the show in LA this weekend.

Julianne Moore: The actress was no doubt top of the guest list working a Spring 2015 green ensemble festooned with feathers, sequins and camo print. I would not bet against Julianne wearing Tom Ford on Sunday despite the Givenchy run up.

Gwyneth Paltrow: I expected a bit more from Gwynie. This cold shoulder Pre-Fall 2015 LBD feels a bit been there done that and boring for such an occasion.

The Carters: He was looking mighty dapper in a signature wide lapel suit, while she was looking bootylicious in a typically sheer embellished Spring 2014 creation.
