Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Despite the many options I gave you, it was always clear that Rosie Huntington-Whiteley was going to win Promo Tour Star of 2011 for ‘Transformers: Dark of the Moon’.

She gave us an interesting variety of drop-dead gorgeous looks which saw her featured in the BDOTW poll nearly every week for the month of June.

Of the nine looks she showcased, my favourites were Gucci, Naeem Khan, Michael Kors (Rio) and of course Burberry.

The great thing about Rosie is that she has continued to wow us on the red carpet at other events, proving that the tour wasn’t just a fluke.

Runner up: Emma Stone for ‘The Help’

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley smoulders on two covers for Harper’s Bazaar’s January 2012 ‘Body Issue’.

On the left she wears a Michael Kors swimsuit and on right she’s radiant in a shimmering Burberry dress.

Rosie sports a Betty Draper-esque faux bob for her Mad-Men-style editorial, shot by Tom Munro and styled by Catherine Kastrine, the model/actress wears Resort 2012 looks from Christian Dior, Alberta Ferretti, Emilio Pucci, Prada, Akris, Fendi, Valentino, Versace and Miu Miu.

We also see her in more swimsuits designed by Alexander Wang and Bottega Veneta. Looking at these pictures, it’s no wonder Mario Testino has dubbed her the ‘English beauty with the Brazilian body’.

In her interview with the magazine she talks about maintaining her killer figure, and what she really thinks about the gym.

Here are some extracts:

On breaking into acting: “It’s interesting coming from modelling, where women rule the industry, into one where there are so few great female parts and the competition is so much higher.” Read more…

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley stepped out for the Burberry Paris Boutique Opening at the British Embassy in Paris on Thursday evening.

The face of the ‘Burberry Body’ fragrance wore a Burberry Prorsum Spring 2012 look.

She flaunted her model-perfect body, pairing a multi-coloured striped skirt with a simple teal tank in a lighter colour than the keyhole top sported on the runway.

Rosie, however, opted to wear simple pointed-toe Louboutin pumps, rather than mustard sandals.

The overall look is chic, sophisticated and very put-together, but with Burberry’s wide range of lustful heels, she could’ve made a more interesting choice, especially as Rosie appears to wear these black pumps with nearly every outfit lately.

A messy half-up hair and a waist-cinching black corset-style belt, which wasn’t really needed, complete the look.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley showed off quite a lot of her famous body at the Burberry Body Launch event which she co-hosted with creative director Christopher Bailey in LA yesterday evening.

The glamorous British actress/model opted out of the tribal prints and beaded heels to wear a nude Burberry slip dress with a plunging neckline.

Matching heels, natural waves, minimal makeup and jewelry completed her simple yet sexy look.

Many of you were quite disappointed by Rosie’s Pucci dress.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley looked devastatingly beautiful (without much effort) on the red carpet at the 15th Annual Hollywood Film Awards Gala which was held at The Beverly Hilton Hotel, California last night.

She opted for a long-sleeve Emilio Pucci Fall 2011 dress.

Her ornate embroidered floral dress, which is elegantly offset by the crystal embellishment, has an open back and a subtle side split for added sex appeal.

With the rich mix of colours, Rosie kept her hair and makeup very simple.

Beauty-wise she opted for a slightly messy bun and a neutral lip colour.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley was smouldering on the red carpet at the Vertu global launch of ‘The Constellation’ in Milan, Italy yesterday evening.

The ‘Transformers’ actress wore a Richard Nicoll Resort 2012 strapless dress.

I wasn’t crazy about this look on the model, but Rosie’s body brings it to life.

It’s a complicated look with different fabrics and it includes a two-tone skirt, but I think she just about manages to pull it off.

Unfortunately I don’t understand the navy satin Ferragamo pumps with this dress, when simple silver sandals would’ve topped things off nicely.

Sultry waves, that perfect pout and gold jewels completed her look.
