Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Rita Ora was spotted heading to the Ed Sullivan Theatre yesterday afternoon for her guest appearance on the ‘Late Show With David Letterman’.

The British singer was there to perform her single ‘R.I.P.’ from her debut album ‘Ora’.

Opting for a colourful look with ghostly makeup and cat ears in celebration of Halloween, you couldn’t miss Rita on the streets of New York.

She wore a Topshop animal-and-floral-print leather biker jacket which she paired with a trompe l’oeil t-shirt and bright green Diane von Furstenberg Resort 2013 pants with a black stripe.

A bi-colour orange and red Prada bag and stacked pumps accessorized her look.

Bright red lips à la Gwen Stefani provided the finishing touch.

Rita Ora joined in the celebrations for Bergdorf Goodman’s 111th anniversary, held at the Plaza Hotel in New York City last night.

She channelled an old Hollywood screen siren look wearing a custom Emilio Pucci gown.

I love this cream halter silk gown with sheer panels at waist. She’s just oozing glamour from every pore.

With her striking blonde hair swept up into a retro ‘do, she completed her look with a cream embossed Spring 2013 Emilio Pucci clutch with gold hardware, a Carelle ring and a red smoking hot lip colour.

Rita Ora went for gold for the MTV Music Video Awards after-party in Los Angeles yesterday.

The British singer caused quite a stir at the event in this plunging trouser suit from Alexandre Vauthier’s Fall 2012 couture collection.

Rita has been on a style roller coaster this week, and not all of her looks have been that successful. There’s something about this gold ensemble, however, that seems to work.

Perhaps it’s because she’s matched it with the same Christian Louboutin shoes as worn by the model on the runway?

Rita’s definitely stayed away from too many accessories, which is a good thing, and the vintage-inspired hair and make-up suit her.

What do you think?

Rita Ora attended Perez Hilton’s One Night in LA party last night.

The rising star opted for a Donna Karan Atelier dress for the appearance.

Rita, what can I say? It’s not all your fault. The dress on its own is very busy with its sheer yet embellished neckline and textured fabric.

You did add to the mix, however, with your Beth Ditto for Mykita kitten-eye sunglasses (at night), set curls and bangles. And then there are those metallic brothel creepers…

The strong brow and lip, however, suit your style.

Rita Ora’s second look was much improved from her red-carpet appearance at the 2012 MTV Music Video Awards on Thursday evening.

The British singer took to the stage to present an award to Chris Brown wearing a Stéphane Rolland Fall 2012 Couture gown.

I’m glad that someone other than Cheryl Cole is wearing a look by this very talented designer, and that the first person to wear this collection wasn’t Kim Kardashian.

Her white crepe gown with silicone white slices on the shoulders and a tan leather harness is one of Rita’s most elegant looks to date.

Elegant, while still maintaining her edge.

The white arm-warmers from the runway completed her look.

Rita Ora took to the red carpet at the Staples Center in LA on Thursday evening for the 2012 MTV Music Awards.

The British singer, who has been taking the US by storm, wore a daring Emilio Pucci jumpsuit.

I have to say I don’t like her custom bedazzled look. That mesh panel gives me shivers and totally turns me off this look.

While the look is very MTV Music Awards appropriate, I am surprised she swapped out her favoured Nike kicks for a pair of Christian Louboutin heels.

Cartier jewels, a Jimmy Choo ‘Claire’ clutch and a dark red lip colour, which I’m also not very fond of, completed her look.
