Rita Ora In Prada - Out In New York City

Having recently filmed her upcoming music video in LA last week, Rita Ora was spotted on the East Coast yesterday afternoon strolling the streets of Manhattan in another attention seeking grabbing look.

Joining the Anna Wintour/Lupita Nyong’o Prada-loving family, going by her recent red carpet outings, the British singer wore a Prada Spring 2014 look.

Even though her coat is the commercial version of similar pieces which took to the runway, the pink-white-and-orange yellow-collared coat still had people stopping and staring, but this could also have been due to that ridiculous Anna Dello Russo-esqe red feathered headpiece.

Under her coat she wore a moss-green-and-black striped Prada Spring 2014 ribbed skirt and matching sweater, with a red clutch to match her signature red lip, fishnet tights, shades and black boots completing her look.

I will admit I do like elements of this look – the coat and skirt for example – but the styling is so off key here; nothing really works together.

A classic case of, ‘just because you can doesn’t mean you should’.

Rita Ora In Miu Miu - Vanity Fair Oscar Party 2014

Rita Ora attended the 2014 Vanity Fair Oscar party on Sunday (March 2) in West Hollywood, California.

The British singer wore a Miu Miu ivory lace rebrodé sleeveless column dress with a nude silk-tulle underlay; enriched with a Swarovski crystal-embroidered neckline and an asymmetrical peplum detail.

I found it hard to get excited about this dress, especially the asymmetrical peplum detail which isn’t very flattering and the neckline which reads tacky.

Silver Manolo Blahnik sandals and a white Jimmy Choo ‘Cloud’ clutch completed her look.

Moschino Fall 2014 Front Row

After the Brit Awards on Wednesday night, both Rita Ora and Katy Perry hopped on a flight to Milan to support their friend Jeremy Scott, who was presenting his first runway show for Moschino during Fall 2014 Milan Fashion Week.

Both appeared to get the black-and-gold memo.

Rita Ora: With nothing but a T-shirt on, the singer styled her logo-emblazoned piece with black pumps with a gold toecap and a rather unique bag which was shaped like a quilted-leather chain-accented jacket. Still keeping the glamorous wavy ‘do she rocked at the Brits, she completed the look with – you guessed it – a glossy red pout.

Katy Perry: The singer opted for considerably more clothing, wearing a Moschino logo tee with a black satin pencil skirt and gold-chain-accented tweed coat for a more chilled ladylike look. Also opting for Moschino toecap pumps and a quilted bag, the singer added a cute polka-dotted bow-accented hair accessory to round out her look.

Be sure to see both ladies wearing the Jeremy Scott for Moschino Fall 2014 collection on a stage or red carpet very soon.

Rita Ora In John Rocha - Brit Awards 2014 After-Parties

Following her bright-yellow showing on the red carpet at the Brit Awards 2014, Rita Ora dialled things down for the Brit Awards parties on Wednesday (February 19).

When I say dialled down, I only mean colour-wise, as she wore a John Rocha Fall 2014 sheer dress with floral appliqués topped off with extravagant volumes of ruffles around the neckline.

Opting not to wear her hair up, the red lip returned, with a fierce pair of Giuseppe Zanotti gladiator boots and the same jewels she wore to the main event completing her look.

I know what you’re thinking (“damn this woman and that red lip”), but it does work with her dramatic look on this occasion.

Rita Ora In Prada - Brit Awards 2014

Rita Ora looked stunning on the red carpet this evening (February 19) at the Brit Awards 2014 held at the O2 Arena in London.

Despite letting out a huge cheer for her lack of red lipstick, I’m also applauding her gorgeous bright yellow Prada plunging gown with the brands signature green rhinestones lining the frock.

A monumental improvement over the Marchesa gown from last night’s Elle Style Awards, it has to be said.

The colour is bold, the makeup much improved, the jewels perfectly OTT for the event; and even the hair isn’t so brash as it often can be.

Miuccia is on quite a roll. Pray it continues.

One of the best of the night. Do you agree?
