Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Skipping Seasons Award
The Jason Wu Resort 2011 presentation only took place 5 days ago, but Rachel Weisz was honoured to be the first to wear a piece from his beautiful girlie girl collection at the 2010 CFDA Fashion Awards in New York last night.

Her custom violet print dress was perfect for her both in style and colour.

She’s glowing.

I’m not a fan of black pumps as you know, but for once I love her Louboutin’s with this look.

This look maybe a bit formal or business-like for some of you, but I think she shows that Jason Wu pieces are for all types of women.

A Judith Leiber clutch and a gorgeous shade of red lippie completed her look.

Rachel Weisz joins my growing Best Dressed list from last nights Costume Institute Gala.

She did a complete 180 from the Vera Wang pink gown and goth lips of last year.

This year I’m blown away.

The actress was breath-taking wearing a custom made Oscar de la Renta fuchsia silk faille strapless gown with draped bodice.

It’s based on look 45 from Oscar de la Renta’s Fall 2010 collection.

Super glossy hair, a gold clutch and Fred Leighton jewels complete the look.

Rachel Weisz was also at the “The Laurence Olivier Awards” last night where she picked up the Best Actress Award.

The British actress looked elegant in a one-shouldered Narciso Rodriguez dress, but I wasn’t crazy about the colour.

Had this been a midnight blue or navy I think I would have been totally in love with it.

Rachel Weisz also attended “The South Bank Show Awards” yesterday.

Unlike Rachel Stevens, Weisz opted for a less graphical look.

She wore a black silk sleeveless Jason Wu dress with designers now signature satin belt.

The blue satin belt makes this look work for me, because as you know I love a pop of colour.

Black Louboutin pumps complete the look.

Congratulations to Rachel as she was named best actress at this year’s “Critics’ Circle Theatre Awards” for appearing in “A Streetcar Named Desire”, which also took place yesterday.

Gare Du Nord Train Station, Paris

I love it when Victoria Beckham is in Europe, as we get to see so much of her.

The fashion designer was spotted hopping off the Eurostar at Gare Du Nord station in Paris earlier today.

The woman famed for wearing sunglasses this time hid behind her Loewe Pre-Fall 2009 hat, whilst wearing a black leather trench coat, Trib Two’s and Loewe Paloma 29 bag which we’ve seen her carrying before.

Only VB would dare sport this look.

“The Imaginarium Of Doctor Parnassus” New York Premiere

Lily Cole certainly has the legs to pull off this striped Jean Paul Gaultier Fall 2009 Couture short suit.

I just don’t get the matching thigh-high boots.

Women In Film & Television 29th Annual Muse Awards, New York

America Ferrera looked stunning wearing a Proenza Schouler black wool cut-out dress.

I love everything about this look from the cut of the dress, to her beehive hairstyle and her metallic peep-toes.

She may tend to wear a lot of black, but she always looks so well put together.

“It’s Complicated” New York Premiere

Lake Bell always looks so sexy, even when she’s not trying.

The actress smolders wearing a Narciso Rodriguez royal blue crepe dress with the trademark criss cross straps.

Her look is paired with Narciso Rodriguez black suede strap sandals, and bubblegum pink lips.

“Late Show With David Letterman”, New York

Rachel Weisz also opted for a pop of blue wearing this belted dress with flutter sleeves.

I love the look, but the peek-a-boo bra distracts me from loving this look.
