2015 Critics’ Choice Television Awards Red Carpet Roundup

2015 Critics' Choice Television Awards Red Carpet Roundup

A crush of additional lovelies joined Charlize Theron and Cat Deeley at the 2015 Critics’ Choice Television Awards, hosted at The Beverly Hilton Hotel on Sunday (May 31) in Beverly Hills, California.

Angie Harmon: The actress was vibrant in a beautifully printed Christian Siriano Fall 2015 frock with a primly feminine tea-length skirt and a much sultrier, off-the-shoulder neckline that might have needed a nudge up. As is, it looks a bit close to a wardrobe malfunction.

Yvonne Strahovski
: The intense sky-blue hue of this Michael Kors Spring 2015 gown was enough to strike a beautiful chord in ‘The Astronaut Wives Club’ actress’s minimalistic silhouette. I love the additional punch of colour provided by the coral-red lip.

Anna Faris: Also opting for a sleekly simple aesthetic, Ana struck the right balance between subtle and striking with her ballet-pink ZAC Zac Posen Fall 2015 high-low dress. Keeping her accessories in line with the frock, she wore tonal Kurt Geiger London ‘Bond’ pumps and an Edie Parker ‘Jean’ clutch.

‘Bessie’ New York Screening

'Bessie' New York Screening

A trio of stars were at the New York screening of ‘Bessie’ that was held at The Museum of Modern Art on Wednesday (April 29) in New York City.

Queen Latifah: Skipping a dress for a long vest and cropped trousers, the actress and executive producer ensured her minimalist, streamlined black ensemble received maximum impact with the addition of bold pendant earrings and cuff bracelets.

Jamie Chung: Taking her look in the completely opposite direction, Jamie wore a Cushnie Et Ochs Spring 2015 dress. While the fresh, baby-pink colour may have been demure, this dress was all grown up with the label’s signature, skin-baring cutouts, black sandals, and a handbag that could have been taken down a size or two.

Tika Sumpter
: I simply cannot get past the unflattering nude illusion paneling and lining of this Zuhair Murad lace jumpsuit that loses its sultry appeal as a result. Brian Atwood sandals completed the look.

I can’t say I was particularly thrilled by any of these looks. Did one catch your attention for the right reasons?

2015 Vanity Fair Oscar Party Red Carpet Roundup

Vanity Fair Party

Here is an quick roundup from the 2015 Vanity Fair Oscar Party, which took place on Sunday (February 22).

Jane Fonda: The actress shows us that Zuhair Murad doesn’t always spell tacky. This Spring 2015 Couture jumpsuit is divine and she is working it like no other. Kudos to her. Jimmy Choo ‘Creole’ pumps and a Rauwolf clutch accessorized her look.

Regina King: This Nicolas Jebran gown won’t be to everyone’s taste, but I love the artful colours on this design. I don’t, however, like the illusion neckline. Not close enough to her skin tone.

Leslie Mann: Like Naomi Watts, Leslie went the white suiting route, layering up with a selection of gold Neil Lane jewels the look probably didn’t really require so much of.

Queen Latifah In Badgley Mischka - 2014 Hollywood Film Awards

It’s beginning to feel a lot like the start of awards season with the 18th Annual Hollywood Film Awards taking place at the Hollywood Palladium on Friday (November 14) in Hollywood, California.

Queen Latifah dazzled on the red carpet wearing a blush-hued Badgley Mischka Pre-Fall 2014 mermaid gown enhanced with decorative gold and silver embellishments.

I just love how her gown reflects seasonal opulence. She totally nailed the look, bring plenty of glamour to her role as hostess.

Queen Latifah In Angela Dean - 2014 People's Choice Awards

Queen Latifah attended the 2014 People’s Choice Awards on Wednesday (January 8) at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in California.

The actress, who scored the Favourite New Talk Show Host trophy, took a simple sartorial approach to the evening.

Her black Angela Dean dropped-waist dress featured a loose silhouette with Grecian-inspired draping. Classic and sophisticated it was; memorable perhaps not.

A dramatic oxblood lip, along with emerald-tinged Sutra statement earrings and black Gucci peep-toe heels, did their part to vamp up the look, though.
