Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Olivia Palermo has been showcasing her summer style all over Manhattan this week.

She’s been spotted out to lunch with her boyfriend’s mum, running errands (wearing the cutest Parker Origami ruffle-print silk shorts) and taking a walk with boyfriend Johannes Huebl. Each time she hasn’t left home without her Gerard Darel ‘Woodstock’ 24 Hour bag.

Her crochet bag with ‘bobble’ and tassel trims is so gorgeous.

No wonder she loves it so much and no wonder there is a waiting list for this bag.

The intricately woven design is lightweight and features an adjustable leather strap and stylish tassel detailing.

It’s the ultimate summer tote.

Never one to miss a premiere in New York City, Olivia Palermo joined Rosie Huntington-Whitely on the red carpet last night for the premiere of Jason Statham’s new movie ‘Safe’.

The star did what she does best: represent the high street by wearing a Zara ensemble.

She donned a silk lace floral top with a matching mini skirt, both of which are available online and in store.

The queen of accessorizing reused many pieces we have seen her wear before, like her silver Zara brogues, her aquamarine necklace and her tan croc vintage Hermes clutch.

Her look is pulled together with a black blazer which adds a very sophisticated touch to her look.

When it comes to perfecting affordable fashion as red-carpet wear, Olivia has no competition.

Despite many of you still questioning “what does Olivia Palermo do?” The former reality TV star continues to rank in fashion campaigns and appear on covers for glossy magazines.

This month the New Yorker covers Marie Claire Spain for their April 2012 issue shot by Sergi Pons.

The famous for being famous star wear a Christian Dior Spring 2012 dress on the cover plus the rest of her editorial, shot by Andrew Yee, sees her wearing Prada, Valentino, Louis Vuitton and Masscob.

In the mag Olivia talks about dressing for special occasions and daywear, she gives explains how she looks amazing on whilst wearing high-street clothes, she shares style tricks and her current must have pieces.

Here are some extracts from her interview.

On dressing for a special occasion versus the everyday: “For a special occasion, a cocktail dress from Giambattista Valli. For the regular day to day, there is nothing like a simple pair of jeans from Paige, blouse from VBH, ballet flats and a tailored jacket – to make it feel a bit more formal.” Read more…

I have never been tempted to own a white bag, especially after ruining my tri-colour Celine ‘Boston’ canvas tote with both black and blue dye from my jeans, but this chic Anya Hindmarch ‘Bruton’ tote is seriously making me rethink things.

I love the clean lines and minimal design of the buttery soft leather tote, which screams classic luxury.

It adds a lot of style to both Olivia Palermo’s and Jessica Alba’s off-duty looks.

As I can’t live without a big bag to carry my life in, I’m seduced by how roomy the structured tote is.

Much like any Anya Hindmarch piece, this tote has quirky touches, with labelled pockets for your ‘Bits & Bobs’, ‘Lipstick’, ‘Music’ and your ‘Phone’.

As Olivia Palermo was spotted carrying her tote in New York City yesterday, styling her look with a Bensoni fur gilet over a sweater, which she paired with Daryl K leather pants and Lanvin two-tone high-top sneakers, I’m sure the bag will sell out soon.

You can buy this Anya Hindmarch ‘Bruton’ tote from my-wardrobe.com, Saks.com and farfetch.com in white.
Net-A-Porter.com has the same tote in black.

Olivia Palermo looked graceful on the red carpet at the Gala Spa Awards at Brenner’s Park Hotel in Baden-Baden, Germany, this weekend.

The keen follower of fashion wore a Tibi ‘Arabella’ v-neck dress for the occasion.

Her dress, with an on-trend ruffled peplum at the waist, was styled with a gold cuff, a platinum clutch and a matching ring.

Although I love it when Olivia is more adventurous with her accessories, she made the right decision to stick to low-key pieces which complemented her dress rather than upstaging it.

Olivia has had a long-running relationship with Tibi, so it’s not a surprise to see her wearing a dress from their collection.

Light waves and glossy pink lips completed her look.

The Christian Dior Fall 2012 Fashion Show had a front row full of stars this afternoon.

Mila Kunis: The current face of Dior arrived wearing a nude lace Dior dress accented with a black belt. I love the dress, but I adore her white cashmere coat which has ruched sleeves. Sleek straight locks, a burgundy ‘Miss Dior’ clutch and nude patent Dior peep-toes completed her look.

Olivia Palermo: The front-row regular donned a cute spatter-paint sleeveless Dior dress with a flared skirt and a black cardigan. As usual, her accessories are on point with a bronze clutch and coral suede pumps with a black web-like design. Before you ask “What does she do?”, the socialite has just been named as the face for Rochas’ latest perfume.

Dasha Zhukova: The editor opted for a laidback look wearing an Isabel Marant fringed sweater and grey jeans with matching over-the-knee boots. The look was complete with a bi-colour Celine tote.

Natalia Vodianova: The model went in the total opposite direction sporting a simple yet chic look. She wore a lavender plunging dress with a jewelled detail on the empire waist, which she teamed with a grey Dior bag and tri-colour Dior pumps.

Who got the look right, and who should’ve done a quick change before entering the venue?
