Olivia Palermo In Gerard Darel & Tibi – Nacho Figueras And St. Regis Hotels & Resorts Celebrate The Holiday Season

Olivia Palermo In Gerard Darel & Tibi - Nacho Figueras And St Regis Hotels & Resorts Celebrate The Holiday Season

Olivia Palermo attended Nacho Figueras and St. Regis Hotels & Resorts Celebrate the Holiday Season held at the St. Regis on Saturday (December 13) in New York City.

Looking as stylish as ever, the socialite donned winter whites, selecting a chunky-knit Gerard Darel sweater. The look became even more interesting with the colourful knit scarf wrapped around her shoulders.

I love the fluid lines and dynamic shape of Olivia’s Tibi cloqué midi skirt with its flared hemline, which makes for an exciting statement piece.

Simple black Jimmy Choo ‘Toni’ leather over-the-knee boots rounded out this luxe winter look.

Are there too many statements being made here or does the look work in perfect harmony?

Valentino New York Sala Bianca 945 Event

Valentino New York Sala Bianca 945 Event

Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli hosted their first Valentino Haute Couture show in New York City on Wednesday (December 10).

The one-off special show, which was an homage to the designer’s famous 1968 white collection, was in celebration of Valentino’s Fifth Avenue flagship store, attracting many celebrity guests who are all big fans of the brand.

Emma Roberts: The young actress instantly caught my eye in her uber-sweet Valentino sugary pink frock with flared cuffs and a multicoloured floral collar. While I love the contrasting mauve Valentino clutch, the Valentino taupe pumps don’t work for me.

Padma Lakshmi: The TV host never fails to provide a jaw-dropping moment, this time wearing a super-sweet Valentino orange-hued mini dress amped up with a pair of sexy black over-the-knee boots.

Karolina Kurkova: I was charmed by the statuesque beauty, who was serving up lace and colourful florals. Her bold, intricate look was enhanced with red pumps, which matched her glossy lips, and a hot-pink clutch. She can do no wrong.

Olivia Palermo In Emilia Wickstead – 2014 British Fashion Awards

Olivia Palermo In Emilia Wickstead - 2014 British Fashion Awards

Olivia Palermo attended the 2014 British Fashion Awards, held at the London Coliseum in London, England on Monday (December 1).

The socialite dressed in an Emilia Wickstead Spring 2015 front-slit ball skirt, which she opted to pair with a black sparkly shirt as opposed to the runway’s ivory bodysuit.

If it weren’t for the ill-placed, saggy pocket detailing on the top and the wrinkles on the wraparound skirt’s hemline, I would have been more drawn to this look. The lemon-meringue hue is tantalizing, after all.

Olivia topped it off with a smoky eye and straight, centre-parted locks, with her star accessory a striped statement clutch.

You may remember that this same Emilia Wickstead skirt was worn by Jena Malone for ‘‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1′ London premiere. I’m still in love with the energy Jena brought to her interpretation of the look.

Dita von Teese, Dianna Agron, Olivia Palermo & Emily Van Camp Attend The House Of Herrera Gala

Dita von Teese, Dianna Agron, Olivia Palermo & Emily Van Camp Attend The House Of Herrera Gala

Carolina Herrera presented the House Of Herrera gala held at Universidad Del Claustro De Sor Juana on Friday (November 14) in Mexico City, Mexico which incorporated a runway show, with plenty of her favourite girls in attendance.

Dita von Teese: There are very rare occasions when Dita doesn’t wear black and those few occasions have coincidentally often involved a Caroline Herrera gown, like on this occasion where she donned a stunning white keyhole gown enriched with embroidered detailing on the shoulder.

Dianna Agron: Looking graceful and elegant as always, the ‘Glee’ star looked breathtaking wearing a Carolina Herrera black and red floral organza gown styled with a complementary fuchsia clutch. This look gave me chills, it’s that good.

The socialite gave us a masterclass in effortless Fall dressing, wearing an everyday winter staple black turtleneck crafted in luxe cashmere styled with a tan leather skirt and her Witchery black trench coat which, the last time we saw her in this piece, she wore as a dress.

Olivia’s accessories included a pair of black Aquazzura + Olivia Palermo suede ankle boots and a Ghurka chestnut leather ‘Tilbury’ bag from the Fall 2014 collection, which she Olivia-ized with a fur shrug.

Olivia Palermo For Net-A-Porter’s The EDIT

Olivia Palermo is this week’s cover girl for’s weekly online magazine, The EDIT, where she shares her style secrets and future plans.

In her ’60s-style editorial, the former reality TV star wears pieces from Gucci, Miu Miu, Calvin Klein, Christopher Kane and, of course, one of her favourite brands, Valentino. You won’t be surprised to see that bold accessories play a major part in this editorial too.

You can read Olivia’s interview over at The EDIT. Here are some extracts from her interview.

On great style being part of her family repertoire since her early childhood: “My mother and grandmother are very pulled together. They never leave the house without being completely, 100% presentable and that was instilled in me at a very young age.”

On her attention to detail when getting ready: “As you get dressed, take a look to see if anything needs to be done. I tend to go with the detailing. I have endless skinny belts. There is always a place for a big belt, but sometimes when you’re layering pieces you need to hide the belt and a skinny one does just that. Take a razor blade to a sweater if it’s bobbling – it takes the balls off. Double-sided tape is also one of my favourites. Oh, and if you want to roll your sleeves up and they won’t stay, push them up with very thin hair elastics.”

On her collaboration with footwear brand Aquazzura:“I’ve known Edgardo [Osorio, the brand’s designer and founder] since his first collection and he’s become a great friend of mine. Read More…

Olivia Palermo In Alessandra Rich – CR Fashion Book Issue N°5 Launch Party

Olivia Palermo In Alessandra Rich - CR Fashion Book Issue N5 Launch Party

Olivia Palermo attended the CR Fashion Book Issue N°5 Launch Party during Paris Fashion Week on Tuesday (September 30) in Paris, France.

The socialite wore a look from Alessandra Rich’s recently presented Spring 2015 collection with a Nathalie Trad clutch.

Cut from the designer’s favoured soft lace fabric, I love how the dress marries contemporary elegance with touches of whimsy via the fringed detailing.

While the dress would’ve stood alone for some, Olivia tried to counter that severe high neckline with a stunning gold statement necklace.

Does this work for you or does it come off too matronly, even with the contemporary styling?
