Green Carpet Fashion Awards Roundup

The inaugural Green Carpet Fashion Awards took place in Milan on Sunday (September 24), focusing on celebrating sustainable innovation and supply chains striving to minimize their footprints. Fittingly, many of the lovely ladies in attendance wore ensembles in keeping with the awards’ ethos.

Arizona Muse: Looking lovely in lace, the model wore a bespoke print gown with handmade lace detailing by Stella McCartney for the Green Carpet Challenge. The alluring piece was crafted from recycled archival print fabrics. The mix of the delicate black lace with ab cut out against the flowing florals on the bottom was thoroughly intriguing.

Naomi Campbell: The model struck a pose in an Atelier Versace Spring 2017 Couture gown. Swirls of silver embroidery were enhanced by a gradient train of white and yellow feathers. Naomi’s signature mane was brushed over one shoulder, revealing the halter neckline of the dress.

Swarovski Crystal Wonderland Party

It was a tale of babes in bold black dresses at the Swarovski Crystal Wonderland Party on Wednesday (September 20) in Milan.

Naomi Campbell: As opposed to going for her favoured sexy glamour, the supermodel charmed in a softer Azzedine Alaïa gown with a skinny low neckline and fitted waist. The half updo was also a twist on Naomi’s long, center-parted locks. I enjoyed seeing this side of her.

Jourdan Dunn:
The model looked ready to dance in this sexy bustier Zeynep Tosun dress with tiered skirt. As opposed to the typical fringe, the layers were constructed out of a tinsel-like material which created a modern allure.

Karlie Kloss:
The Swarovski brand ambassador turned heads in a custom Ronald van der Kemp dress. The two-tone creation is a departure from her more streamlined silhouettes. The pointed shoulders might read as dated to some, but it’s the contrasting red belt I’m struggling with. Giuseppe Zanotti ‘Harmony’ Sandals allowed the drama to remain up top.

Naomi Campbell In Elie Saab – 2017 NBA Awards

Naomi Campbell wore a dramatic Elie Saab Fall 2017 mini dress for at the 2017 NBA Awards on Monday (June 26) in New York.

The look gave me ‘Black Swan’ vibes with its feathery hem, seductive sheer sleeves and lily print.

However, just like her Louis Vuitton menswear show outing, Naomi’s hair fell flat.

Her trademark poker straight hairstyle added to the volume at the top of the dress and made it feel heavy.

I do love the unadulterated drama of this look, but I’m not sold on the styling, what do you think?

Naomi Campbell in Louis Vuitton – Louis Vuitton Menswear Spring 2018 Show

Naomi Campbell made a striking appearance at the Louis Vuitton Menswear Spring 2018 show on Thursday (June 22), in Paris.

The model was rocking a reinvented Hawaiian print shirt complete with a fun and fashionable red flower print- the same shirt was then seen heading down the Louis Vuitton Spring Menswear runway.

Naomi’s gold accessories helped to elevate this look and cast the Hawaiian shirt in a new light.

The organza veiling also added a lux touch to this ensemble, but did the hairstyle and heavy boots fit this aesthetic?

Naomi Campbell In Roberto Cavalli Couture – 2017 LIFEBALL

Iconic supermodel Naomi Campbell positively shone on the red carpet of LIFEBALL, an annual charity event held in Vienna, Austria yesterday (June 11).

This isn’t the first metallic dress the star has worn to LIFEBALL, but it’s certainly one of the most stunning.

The Roberto Cavalli Couture piece was accessorised with subtle drop earrings and a pop of colour was a achieved with her orange bracelet.

Despite the glittering trend suiting her, I would have liked to have seen a more dramatic hairstyle.

Naomi Campbell In Atelier Versace – Cannes Film Festival 70th Anniversary Celebration

When it comes to Atelier Versace, no one serves it better than Naomi Campbell.

The model was in supercharged mode as she made her way down the red carpet for the 70th anniversary Cannes Film Festival celebration this evening (May 23) wearing a Spring 2017 creation.

While the drama of the feather hemline is for all the world to see, what isn’t so easily picked up is the intricate Swarovski beading throughout the gown.

Cannes Fashion For Relief

The Fashion for Relief gala and runway show event was held during the 2017 Cannes Film Festival on Saturday (May 21), with attendees turning up the volume on their own fashion statements for the evening.

Naomi Campbell: Before gracing the runway at the event, the supermodel stunned in an Atelier Versace Spring 2017 gown with Santoni sandals and Bulgari jewels. The slithery, slit-to-there was Naomi’s version of a Grecian goddess look; I loved the movement of the diaphanous skirt and the shimmer of the knotted overlay that infused the look with an intriguing edge.

Uma Thurman: After her questionable last look, Uma redeemed herself a bit in this Atelier Versace embellished number styled with Giuseppe Zanotti sandals. However, am I alone in thinking the dress felt a bit dated?

Queen Rania Al-Abdullah of Jordan
: I have a feeling that this Givenchy Haute Couture by Riccardo Tisci dress was far more beautifully perceived in person with its tonal embroidery and lace underskirt. Its pristine-white polish is what kept me most interested.

Lewis Hamilton
: The British race car driver didn’t leave his sporty edge at home, bringing it to Cannes with this Gucci ‘Bee’ bomber jacket.
