‘Can’t Stop, Won’t Stop: A Bad Boy Story’ London Screening

A dynamic trio of trend-forward stars were at the screening of ‘Can’t Stop, Won’t Stop: A Bad Boy Story’ in London on Tuesday (May 16).

Salma Hayek: Salma prettified this Gucci Resort 2017 ensemble by wearing the strong, plaid skirt with a feminine ruffle blouse and sculpted heels, although the leather jacket did contribute a tougher edge. It was a solid effort for Salma; I was just slightly bothered by the fit of the skirt around the hips, as I would have preferred a more streamlined finish.

Lupita Nyong’o: I was delighted to see Lupita back on the red carpet in this statement-making Fendi Spring 2017 ensemble that brought in her love of bold hues with the red turtleneck sweater. It takes a certain talent to pull off the directional edge of the crop top and those cropped parachute pants, and she definitely fit the bill. Plus, her styling and her beauty look were on point from top to toe.

Naomi Campbell: The supermodel was not ready to bid adieu to sheer yet, as she wore it in a lace top with this decorative, sexy spin on suiting from the Alexander McQueen Spring 2017 collection. Her sleek bob helped increase the chic factor of the look.

Models @ The 2017 Met Gala

The models had their moment at the 2017 Met Gala on Monday (May 1) in New York City. Here, a look at how they made the night’s blue carpet their catwalk.

Bella Hadid: We’ve heard of the naked dress, but Bella had the naked jumpsuit of the evening in this sheer mesh Alexander Wang number that left precious little to the imagination.

Gigi Hadid: Her sister may have opted for the naked look, but Gigi just went plain nude in this sweeping Tommy Hilfiger gown—her version of a princess dress—that combined architectural tailoring with romantic femininity. To add an edge, Wolford fishnets did the trick for her leg jut that was likewise accessorised by Christian Louboutin heels.

2017 Time 100 Gala Red Carpet Roundup

There were many more looks to grace the red carpet for the 2017 Time 100 Gala on Tuesday (April 25) in New York City.

Naomi Campbell: The supermodel opted for an Alaia piece which was selected not only to colour coordinate with the step and repeat, but also because of its fine craftsmanship. Yes, it’s a bit heavy for spring, but Naomi has always marched to the beat of her own drum.

Margot Robbie: While I wish this Prada dress wasn’t so shapeless, the colourful embellishments – which reminded me of 100s and 1000s – the pale yellow hue, Delfina Delettrez jewels and the pretty pink purse did soften my stance and I have to say I love the look.

Ashley Graham: I love Ashley’s style, but I couldn’t get on board with what I feel is the over-styling of this look – starting with that choker. The look consisted of a Cami NYC camisole, Nili Lotan ‘Maya’ maxi skirt and Fleur Du Mal corset.

Naomi Campbell In Ralph & Russo Couture – amfAR Hong Kong

Naomi Campbell attended the amfAR Hong Kong Gala on Saturday (March 25) looking every inch a supermodel.

It was rather apt that the queen of the catwalk grace the red carpet wearing a regal offering from Ralph & Russo’s Fall 2015 Couture collection.

I love the intricate detailing which tempers the sheerness and how this look ushers in a new (rare) glimpse at Naomi’s romantic side.

The pointy pumps are a bit jarring, but the look is perfectly topped off with signature sleek tresses and a Ralph & Russo Couture ‘Alina’ clutch.

Naomi Campbell In Atelier Versace – amfAR New York Gala

Naomi Campbell joined fellow models Heidi Klum and Amber Valletta for the 19th Annual amfAR New York Gala on Wednesday (February 8) in New York City.

She was the picture of perfection in a blood-orange Atelier Versace Spring 2016 fully sequined gown.

The body-con curve, the slashed slit, the peek-a-boo skin display—they were all present and accounted for in this look.

Yet the colour was so radiant and her gold accessories including a metallic Versace clutch so on-point that even the dress’s traditional marks of sultry appeal were given a fresh lift.
