Street Style Star 2013 – Miranda Kerr

Street Style Star 2013 – Miranda Kerr

Put Miranda Kerr on any sidewalk, and it instantly transforms into her personal catwalk. The supermodel has street cred in spades when it comes to her impeccable off-duty fashion; so much so that she easily stole this year’s nod for the second time in a row.

The Aussie beauty has a near uncanny ability to strut out look-at-her ensembles that are effortless but oh-so-perfect, rather ironically making her street style just as memorable—if not more so—as her red-carpet entrances.

From skinny jeans (Frame denim is a fave) and rocker-luxe blazers (say, a leather one by Balmain) to breezy dresses and maxi skirts, her closet is undoubtedly an enviable one, filled with cool-girl labels like Diane von Furstenberg, Isabel Marant, Michael Kors and Stella McCartney.

Of course, accessories are key, too, whether it’s a pair of oversized Stella shades, Christian Louboutin flats or her still-favoured Givenchy ‘Antigona’ bag.

Whether she’s flaunting first-class airport style or chicly jet-setting around New York City, Paris and beyond, this model mom is the epitome of everyday glam.

Miranda Kerr In David Koma – 2015 Jaguar F-TYPE R Coupe Global Debut

Miranda Kerr In David Koma - 2015 Jaguar F-TYPE R Coupe Global Debut

Miranda Kerr joined in the celebrations for the global debut of the 2015 Jaguar F-TYPE R Coupe at an exclusive event held at Raleigh Studios in Playa Vista City in California yesterday evening.

I was delighted to see her wearing my favourite look from David Koma’s Spring 2014 collection, so I paid close attention to the styling.

She carried a white Smythson clutch, adding white Christian Louboutin heels with Shylee Rose jewels to her look.

Despite disliking white pumps, it was probably the right choice on this occasion, as was wearing her hair up and opting for a bright-pink lip for an additional pop of colour.

I’m not a fan of the clutch, however; I wish it was a tad smaller or sans silver trims, considering she opted for gold jewels.

Was this look on your red-carpet wish list? Do you share my joy of seeing this look on the red carpet?

Miranda Kerr In Michael Kors – JFK

Miranda Kerr In Michael Kors - JFK

Miranda Kerr was spotted at JFK Airport on Thursday.

The model had just arrived in New York City following her guest appearance at the ‘Michael Kors and Miranda Kerr Celebrate Elle Japan December Cover’ #MKTOKYO party in Tokyo, and was clearly still feeling the Michael Kors love.

She wore a blue floral-printed dress belted with a brown python belt, both from Michael Kors’ Spring 2014 collection, which she styled with a navy blazer worn on the shoulders, nude Michael Kors ‘Avra’ pumps, and a black Samantha Thavasa bag.

Do you approve of her latest round of airport style?

Miranda Kerr In Michael Kors – Michael Kors/Elle Japan Event #MKTOKYO

Miranda Kerr In Michael Kors - Michael Kors Elle Japan Event #MKTOKYO

Miranda Kerr fulfilled her role as a featured guest at the ‘Michael Kors and Miranda Kerr Celebrate Elle Japan December Cover’ #MKTOKYO party, held yesterday at the Gallery of Horyuji Treasures of the Tokyo National Museum in Japan.

Naturally, the supermodel struck a pose in a Michael Kors monochromatic creation, this one from the Resort 2014 collection.

Although the gown was long and long-sleeved, the black and glittery white design still emitted some sultry appeal via two triangular side cutouts.

Whereas this dress, with its skin-baring sizzle and sparkling sequins, may have ventured into more unflattering territory on some, Miranda worked the languid, luxe look to a more elevated standard.

Statement earrings, along with an elegant, wavy sideswept ‘do and a matching red manicure and lip lacquer, contributed to the classic-chic vibe.

Miranda Kerr was spotted making her way to the Hearst Building in New York City, heading to a meeting with Cosmopolitan magazine.

The model wore a look once considered the uniform of all Victoria’s Secret models: a Herve Leger bandage dress.

Working a sexy red pout, she wore a maroon-and-black bold graphic butterfly-print halter-neck dress with angled banded seams and a black hemline, amped up with a striking pair of electric-blue Manolo Blahnik pumps.

A black wool coat was slung over her shoulders, with a ladylike finish to her look coming courtesy of her pale-pink Prada tote.

Sofia Coppola & Louis Vuitton Celebrate The New SC Bag Launch

Sofia Coppola & Louis Vuitton Celebrate The New SC Bag Launch

Celebs gathered to celebrate the new SC bag launch for Le Bon Marche and Louis Vuitton during Paris Fashion Week yesterday evening.

Dakota Fanning: The actress wore an LV Fall 2013 champagne-coloured slip dress with a lace hem, which she tried to prevent from looking like a nightie by adding a long brown coat to her look. It didn’t work. Louis Vuitton ‘Dramatic’ sandals and a SC for Louis Vuitton clutch.

Elle Fanning: Dakota’s younger sister had more success with her plaid LV Fall 2013 spaghetti-strap dress with an embellished hem. Beach waves and LV sandals completed her look.

Miranda Kerr: Carrying her new favourite bag, the LV ‘Capucines’ tote, the model wore a black LV dress which looks like it was returned from the ‘Mad Men’ costume department. While I do like the 60s secretary dress and the necklace, bag and pumps, I find the hairstyle ages her somewhat.

Sofia Coppola: The lady of the hour styled her all-white LV look with her SC for Louis Vuitton clutch, cuffs and tri-colour sandals. Effortless and chic as always.
