I can’t believe I almost missed this.
Michelle Obama was speaking at the James J. Peters Veterans Administration Medical Center in New York last week with with Jill Biden.
The First Lady wore a tiger print blouse with a scoop neck with structured shoulders from Peter Pilotto’s Fall 2009 collection.
She paired the blouse with maroon wide-leg trousers and black flats.
Michelle continues to show support for up and coming designers, first Jason Wu now the London based designers Peter Pilotto and partner Christopher De Vos.
This is so admirable and I hope this is something she continues to do in the future.

The First Ladies of fashion met again this weekend at the D-Day landing memorial ceremony in France.
Michelle Obama and Carla Bruni-Sarkozy, both wore white belted dresses, and kitten heels.
We are, but shouldn’t be, surprised by this fashionable synchronization, because the last time they met, they both wore pussy bow coats.
Carla as we would expect, opting for her favourite fashion house, Dior, wearing a cap-sleeve dress. Whilst Michelle opted for a optic white nylon crepe Narciso Rodriguez dress.
The press has been quick to condemn the ladies, for wearing such a light colour for a sombre occasion, which is quite ridiculous.

The former First Lady Nancy Reagan, and the current First Lady, Michelle Obama lunched yesterday at the White House.
I’m always interested to hear what you guys think about Michelle’s style.
Especially on this occasion as she is wearing a floral Gap cardigan - which is currently on sale, with a pink striped Gap tee, paired with a white lacquered boucle Michael Kors skirt.
A single strand of pearls, a diamond bracelet, and I’m guessing kitten heels, completed the look.

OK. Recently someone said that Michelle Obama needs to start dressing like a First Lady, because her style is too casual.
I disagree, I think her style is refreshing, but hopefully those of you underwhelmed with her style choices, will agree that this purple Isaac Mizrahi Pre-Fall 2009 sheath and coat, will be more in tune with what a ‘First Lady’ should wear.
Michelle glowed as she was on hand to cut the ribbon, at the reopening of the entrance to the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s American Wing yesterday.
I think this one will go into her Top 10 looks of the year.

This is a quick response to Ewurafua’s request.
The top Michelle Obama wore when she and President Barack Obama held an Evening of Poetry, Music and the Spoken Word in the East Room of the White House on Tuesday night, was by Basso & Brooke.
The white pants are Maison Martin Margiela.
Please email me any requests, and I will try to help.

Michelle Obama visited the
Ferebee Hope elementary school in Washington yesterday. She talked to a group of 3rd grade students, encouraging them to work hard at their studies. She also said their pledge would help her husband, President Barack Obama.
Mrs Obama was wearing a sleeveless navy blue and white polka dotted Lanvin Resort 2009 dress, with navy paillettes on the shoulder.
From the pictures of her sitting down, it’s clear that she shortened the gown, so it was more appropriate for the day time.

You may remember Tilda Swinton wore the gown version to the
17th Annual BAFTA/LA Britannia Awards back in November.
The gown version is available to purchase from My Theresa for £2,289.74/€2,679/$3,643.44.
