Leslie Mann In Chanel Couture – 2017 Met Gala

Leslie Mann attended the 2017 Met Gala on Monday (May 1) .

Not everyone stuck to the theme, but at least I could hang onto one intriguing element or be swept away by the romance of the look like Elle Fanning.

Unfortunately I was totally underwhelmed by this Chanel Spring 2016 Couture look. Bored to be more precise.

Leslie has had many magic red carpet moments, yet this wasn’t one of them.

2017 Oscar Parties Roundup

The 2017 Oscars party circuit was in full tilt with so many other style darlings in attendance at both the 2017 Vanity Fair Oscar Party and Elton John’s AIDS Foundation’s Academy Awards Viewing Party on Sunday (February 26). Here, a roundup of additional looks from the star-studded evening.

Emily Ratajkowski: Glitz and glam feathers both played a sultry game in this Jonathan Simkhai Fall 2017 plunge gown.

Priyanka Chopra: Speaking of glitter, Priyanka’s black Michael Kors Collection gown would have just been a standard black dress had it not been for the blitz of sequins.

Sia: I had to do a double-take with the singer’s custom Giorgio Armani cantaloupe-hued suit, as the nude-coloured lining provided a strange effect that made her hat-topped head almost appear to be floating.

Leslie Mann In Zac Posen – 2017 Oscars

Leslie Mann was also at the 2017 Oscars on Sunday (February 26) in Hollywood, California.

There’s no question that vivacious colour on the red carpet, such as this chartreuse hue, makes a striking impact—especially when rendered in voluminous quantity.

Despite the rather outsized proportions of this Zac Posen Pre-Fall 2017 gown with its mega-pouf, parachute skirt that could easily look deflated, she managed it with radiance and a smile.

Yet, still that sea of fabric can be a challenge to wade through, leaving something to be desired. Sometimes dresses are better left to the lookbook.

Leslie Mann In Alexander McQueen – ‘Girls’ Season 6 New York Premiere

Leslie Mann attended the New York premiere of the sixth and final season of ‘Girls’ on Thursday (February 2).

While I’m still missing colour from Leslie, there is no doubt that she makes an eye-catching entrance in Alexander McQueen.

Inspired from British folk art and wallpaper, the floral off-the-shoulder top is stylish, standout piece which is tempered with sleek trousers.

Leslie Mann In Roland Mouret – ‘The Comedian’ New York Screening

It’s been a while since we saw Leslie Mann on the red carpet, but she was back to celebrate the screening of ‘The Comedian’ in New York City on Tuesday (January 31).

When I think of Leslie I think of her love of colour, yet on this occasion she opted for a black Roland Mouret jumpsuit.

I love how the velvet contrast ensures this classic piece standouts from any other peplum jumpsuit we’ve seen.

Roland Mouret’s forte is dressing the modern woman and Leslie keeps up her end of the bargain by effortlessly styling this chic all-in-one.

2015 Vanity Fair Oscar Party Red Carpet Roundup

Vanity Fair Party

Here is an quick roundup from the 2015 Vanity Fair Oscar Party, which took place on Sunday (February 22).

Jane Fonda: The actress shows us that Zuhair Murad doesn’t always spell tacky. This Spring 2015 Couture jumpsuit is divine and she is working it like no other. Kudos to her. Jimmy Choo ‘Creole’ pumps and a Rauwolf clutch accessorized her look.

Regina King: This Nicolas Jebran gown won’t be to everyone’s taste, but I love the artful colours on this design. I don’t, however, like the illusion neckline. Not close enough to her skin tone.

Leslie Mann: Like Naomi Watts, Leslie went the white suiting route, layering up with a selection of gold Neil Lane jewels the look probably didn’t really require so much of.
