‘Miu Miu Women’s Tales #7 – #8′ Venice Film Festival Premiere

'Miu Miu Women's Tales #7 - #8' - Premiere - 71st Venice Film Festival

A collection of six starlets were at the ‘Miu Miu Women’s Tales #7-#8’ premiere, held during the 2014 Venice Film Festival in Venice, Italy on Thursday (August 28). Naturally, all were representing the label, donning a range of Miu Miu looks that couldn’t have each been more different if they tried.

Dakota Fanning: The trendsetting starlet wore a Miu Miu creamy white satin sheath dress with beaded embellishment, paired with nude platform Miu Miu pumps and a bejeweled grass-green Miu Miu clutch. I would have loved to see the same punch of colour in her shoe, along with an updo.

Kirsten Dunst: The actress went for a retro spin in an A-line Miu Miu dress featuring a funky blue and white swirl print. She accessorized with pops of silver via her clutch and sandals, not to mention the flash of those side-swept platinum locks.

Kate Mara: Donning the same nude platforms as Dakota, Kate wore hers with a nude Miu Miu dress with allover paillettes and a sparkling, decorative neckline. The design was pretty and carried with it a vintage flair, but the colour washed out her complexion, especially with her neutral makeup.

Felicity Jones: Her embellished, midnight-blue Miu Miu dress with sheer sleeves had the fall season written all over it. Black pointy pumps did nothing to lighten the look, but the actress did take a more summery, breezy approach to her barely-there makeup.

Lena Dunham: Once again opting for a head-scratcher of a look, the ‘Girls’ star didn’t exactly stand out for the right reasons in her sombre, daresay frumpy, patterned frock. The Prada dress and the flat, block-heel sandals aged her far beyond my liking—as did her beehive ’do.

Nicoletta Romanoff: The only one to really embrace what’s left of summer, Nicoletta was the most polished of the bunch in her flirty and youthful white ruffle blouse and lemon-yellow skirt by Miu Miu, paired with breezy waves and sun-kissed makeup. If I were to nitpick, I would have selected a colourful, fun sandal not this chunkier brown pair.

Kirsten Dunst In Vivienne Westwood – ‘The Two Faces Of January’ London Premiere

Kirsten Dunst In Vivienne Westwood - 'The Two Faces Of January’ London PremiereKirsten Dunst attended the London premiere of ‘The Two Faces Of January,’ held today (May 13) at The Curzon Mayfair in England.

The actress turned up the glam factor, yet skipped the gown, in a Vivienne Westwood black cap-sleeve dress with gathered and draped detailing throughout and at the side.

She enhanced the LBD with ankle-strap, pointy pumps and a stunning red-carpet-red lip, along with side-swept blonde waves.

The frock may not have photographed as well as it could have, what with the sheen of the dress. Still I can appreciate Kirsten’s simple yet dramatic beauty approach and styling.

Kirsten Dunst In Rodarte – Rodarte Book Launch Party

Kirsten Dunst In Rodarte - Rodarte Book Launch Party

Kirsten Dunst attended the Rodarte book launch party held at Curve Boutique on Sunday (May 4) in New York City prior to the Met Gala.

The actress wore a printed and embroidered plaid tiered ruffle dress from the designers’ Spring 2014 collection.

The open waist panel nips in the silhouette and gives the illusion of a separate skirt and top.

I love how the pretty ruffles enhance the figure, while the colours and stripes help maintain the brand’s signature edge.

The look is a winner for me from the ankles up, as I’m not too fond of the Rodarte black leather snakeskin-embossed booties.

Kirsten Dunst In Rodarte – 2014 Met Gala

Kirsten-Dunst-In-Rodarte-2014-Met-Gala

Kirsten Dunst made a definite statement on the red carpet at the 2014 Met Gala on Monday (May 5) in New York City.

Ever since these Star Wars-themed gowns made their way down the runway at fashion week, everyone has wondered if and when they would show up again, and now we have our answer.

Kirsten rocked the Death Star-printed gown from Rodarte’s Fall 2014 collection.

I’m sure there are plenty of people who find this ridiculous, but I absolutely love that Kirsten went with this dress. It’s mirthful, has a gorgeous silhouette, and if there’s anywhere you can make it work, it’s at the Met Gala!

A dark smokey eye, red lips and deeply side-parted updo complete Kristen’s look.

So, what do you think? Totally fun, or totally wrong?

Kirsten Dunst for L’Oreal Professionnel

Kirsten Dunst -- L'OrealWith a brand new year comes a new set of branded advertising. This year started off with two super exciting announcements by famed hair care brands, L’Oreal Professionnel and Pantene. After much consideration, L’Oreal Professionel has chosen Kirsten Dunst as their first ever spokesperson whereas seasoned supermodel, Gisele Bundchen has signed on as Pantene’s newest ambassador to North America.

In a first for the brand, L’Oreal turned to Hollywood to select their ideal spokesperson. Kirsten Dunst’s perfectly fit the bill as she feels close to the brand and thoroughly appreciates L’Oreal’s stylistic efforts. She recently spoke with Women’s Wear Daily about her thoughts on the evolving brand. “…I admire its commitment to innovation, constantly creating new professional services and products to achieve the most on-trend styles,” says Kirsten.

The radiant star looks stunning in the new campaign in which she sports effortless beach waves, a chocolate smoky eye and bronzed neutral lip. Kirsten’s signature blonde locks and striking looks were previously seen in various advertisements for Bulgari when she appeared as the face for their Mon Jasmin Noir Fragrance in 2011.

Aiming for another notable blonde, Pantene is excited to feature Gisele’s highly covetable blonde tousled locks as their North American Ambassador. Having been the ultimate hair inspiration to many girls, the Brazilian beauty’s impeccably waved hair can now be achieved by the masses. Kevin Crociata, Marketing Director of North American Hair Care at Procter & Gamble noted the qualities that make Gisele both an ideal ambassador and phenomenal person overall. “We want to celebrate Gisele not only for her beauty, but also her genuine passion to empower women to be their best selves,” says Kevin, “she is truly a woman who has it all – not only does she have one of the most iconic heads of hair in the beauty world but she is also a true role model with a huge heart.”

We can’t wait for the upcoming hair looks these blond beauties will be sporting in upcoming campaigns.

Kirsten Dunst In Rodarte – W Magazine ‘Best Performances’ Portfolio Celebration

Kirsten Dunst In Rodarte - W Magazine ‘Best Performances’ Portfolio Celebration

Kirsten Dunst joined Naomie HarrisOlivia Wilde and Lupita Nyong’o for the W Magazine celebration of the ‘Best Performances’ portfolio held at Chateau Marmont on Thursday (January 9) in Los Angeles, California.

Cozying up to her handsome beau Garrett Hedlund, the actress wore a Rodarte black plaid-print silk sleeveless dress with black ankle boots, both from the Spring 2014 collection.

Since the majority of the Rodarte Spring 2014 collection isn’t really cocktail-party friendly, I’m not surprised the designers created this more demure dress for their favourite gal.

Red lips and a black clutch rounded out her look.
