Julianne Moore In Balenciaga – 2014 A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To Cure Parkinson’s

Julianne Moore In Balenciaga - 2014 A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To Cure Parkinson's

Taking a break from promoting ‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1′, Julianne Moore attended the 2014 A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To Cure Parkinson’s event held at The Waldorf Astoria on Saturday (November 22) in New York City.

The actress once again wore a look from Balenciaga, this time selecting a look from the Resort 2015 collection.

Balenciaga’s interpretation of tactile chic is very much embedded in this buttery soft leather sleeveless dual-colour dress featuring a layered asymmetrical cut-and-patch pocket detail.

While I’m glad she didn’t opt for the runway boots, I’m not a fan of her cuffed pumps either. A style of shoe which worked to elongate her legs would’ve worked better for me.

Julianne Moore brought some shimmer and shine to the red carpet at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live on Monday (November 17) in Los Angeles, California for the premiere of ‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1′.

Channelling vintage-inspired glamour, the actress wore a statement-making black Tom Ford dress in a floor-length design, finished with flowing fringed layers at the hem for an utterly feminine silhouette.

Styled with a matching glitter clutch and Tom Ford Spring 2013 platform sandals, I was delighted to see a return to glamour for Julianne.

Julianne Moore attended the 18th Annual Hollywood Film Awards held at The Palladium on Friday (November 14) in Hollywood, California.

Following two all black looks, Julianne opted for a fresh white palette courtesy of Balenciaga.

A masterclass in modern minimalism, the long-sleeved design with a clean silhouette is punctuated with ruched sheer sleeves to add a touch of delicacy.

The white clutch was perhaps one white accessory too many, yet I wouldn’t take anything away from this stunning look.

Julianne Moore In Louis Vuitton - - 'Still Alice' AFI FEST 2014 Screening

Julianne Moore joined Kristen Stewart on the red carpet at the Dolby Theatre on Wednesday (November 12) in Hollywood, California for the AFI FEST ‘Still Alice’ premiere.

Following her chic showing at ‘The Hunger Games’ world premiere on Monday, the actress was back to wearing black, this time wearing a head-to-toe look from Louis Vuitton’s Spring 2015 collection. It seems that Natalia Vodianova was the only one allowed to get away with wearing her LV look without those boots.

Despite not being a fan of recent LV red carpet looks, this look, which is simple in design yet edgy, is beautifully presented by Ms Moore. I wouldn’t change a thing, plus I just love how Julianne and Kristen complemented each other.

You may remember that Catherine Deneuve wore the same dress in red a few days ago.

Julianne Moore was the first to arrive on the red carpet for ‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1′ premiere held at Odeon Leicester Square this evening (November 10).

The actress wore a Balenciaga Spring 2015 black fitted dress infused with sultry sheer panels and an intricate woven cape-like detail on the shoulders.

While this look did have me going back into my archives to see if Rooney Mara had worn it, this sartorial celebration of femininity couldn’t be a better representation of her chic effortless style, which always has an intriguing edge.

Black sandals and a simple ponytail completed her look.

‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1′ London Photocall

"The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1" - Photocall

Julianne Moore, Jennifer Lawrence, Elizabeth Banks and Natalie Dormer attended the photocall for ‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1′ held at the Corinthia Hotel London on Sunday (November 9) in London, England ahead of Monday’s world premiere.

It’s the moment we’ve all been waiting for, but sadly Jena Malone wasn’t in attendance as she was at the EMAs.

Julianne Moore: The actress more than held her own in this quartet wearing a Dries van Noten dress which champions the brand’s retro-modern aesthetic with contrast prints and a relaxed-fit design. Sadly, all the good work is undone with those grey Aquazzura black suede Sexy Thing booties.

Jennifer Lawrence: While tomorrow will most definitely be a Dior night, Jennifer wore her second non-Dior look in a row, donning a white suit from much-buzzed-about new brand Public School. Styled with a black cami top and silver pumps, this is another good look for Jennifer.

Elizabeth Banks: Withdrawing from her Alexander McQueen account early, the actress wore a bold fuchsia frock rendered with a striking contrasting animal and ikat print in a very short design. I usually want to high-five her footwear choices, but I’m not a fan of the Jimmy Choo ‘Vanish’ ankle boots, although I do love the colour.

Natalie Dormer: The British actress usually gives me plenty to shout about, but on this occasion I feel like she hit the mute button. While there is nothing wrong with this Michael Van Der Ham Spring 2015 look, she’s usually oozing with a lot more colour and character.
