Feeling the blues (in the best way possible), Jessica Chastain made sartorial magic on the red carpet of the 2013 BAFTA Awards on Sunday at the Royal Opera House in London, England.
The ‘Zero Dark Thirty’ star and Leading Actress nominee completely blew me away in her breathtaking sapphire gown by Roland Mouret.
Where to even begin? The colour was electric. The fit was impeccable. And the structured architecture of the asymmetrical bodice was fresh and altogether sublime.
Even in an evening where umbrellas proved to be the best (and most popular) accessory, Jessica shone brightly.
Complementary Harry Winston pendant earrings and a simple bracelet didn’t impede the dramatic effect of the gown.
Once again, Jessica’s side-swept, flame-red waves and matte crimson lip were picture perfect, especially with the blue.
