This is a cute gold metallic dress, but Ri-Ri is just not selling it to me. A hand on the hip or a bit more sassy would have made the dress look more than a piece of material hanging from 2 black straps.

Eva Mendes is wearing a white Valentino 2008 Resort gown and looks sensational. There have been many reports that Eva is pregnant. No signs of it here to me. If anything she looks thinner than normal.

Michelle does not go for the safe options on the red carpet, which I love (when it works). I am going to keep my eye on her.

I am so over the whole “Is Jennifer Lopez pregnant?” debate. I have worked in PR and this is an obvious attempt to keep her name in the press in the hope that we all go out and buy her latest album, which I heard is a. not doing so well and b. not very good.

All is not lost because Jenny Lo is wearing a great pair of thigh-high Louboutin’s which I covet. For most, these boots would scream “ho”, but Jennifer knows how to make them work well for her without the “ho” tag.

From one baby-mama to another, Halle Berry is embracing motherhood in this Galliano mini dress.

Kate Hudson makes this simple Zac Posen Spring 2008 white shirt and black mini skirt, look like it cost a fortune.

Kirsten Dunst is wearing a chic Rodarte black frayed, three tier asymmetrical dress with gunmetal pumps. I love her style and this goes towards erasing my memory of her Costume Institute Gala disaster.

I love Lisa Rinna. I wish she had not ruined her lips.

She looks very sexy here in a black high-waisted pencil skirt, bra revealing shirt and gold Louboutin’s. This is definitely a look I would wear.

The blonde do’ is in order for Rumer Willis to grab attention, which she does, but for all the wrong reasons. The lack of product makes her probably fragile hair frizzy.

Hayden Panettiere wore a fitted pencil dress by Dina Bar-El to this event. Panettiere looked beautiful in the teal crushed taffeta spaghetti strap dress.

Kristen Bell looks cute in this shift dress.

Rumer Willis goes from bad to worse. What I hate here is that from her facial expression, she thinks she looks sexy.

The issue of People Magazine’s on sale in the US today has their annual “Best Dressed List”. As usual I do not agree with the list.

Beyonce is on the list as The Showstopper. Yes she is a show stopper, but not in a good way. The best examples are her dresses at the Golden Globes and the DreamGirls premiere. Both bad in taste.

Cameron Diaz. The Legs. Perfect. The MTV Movie Awards Luella dress and her Shrek Chanel dress showed off her asset.

Katie Holmes got The Classic. Up until recently Katie Holmes’ style has been too old for her and quite boring, but the Azzedine Alaia dress she wore to the Hairspray premiere was fabulous. Her style transformation has been credited to Victoria Beckham, but I think this is down to Katie and the changes in her life.

Penelope Cruz is the The Continental. Mostly because of her Spanish roots and her love for European designers Versace and Chanel, worn at the Oscars and Golden Globes this year. Even Penelope off duty style is glamourous which is why she able to attract major contracts with L’Oreal and Mango.

Jessica Biel is The All-American - I would have thought this would have gone to Reese Witherspoon. I don’t agree with Biel being on any Best Dressed list as I think she has no sense of great style.

Drew Barrymore is The Chameleon, as she can go from Cover Girl to Home Girl all in the same day. Whether it is a Caroline Herrara dress or J Brand Jeans, Drew always looks gorgeous.

Jennifer Lopez is perfectly picked as The Glamour Girl. This girl loves glamour, from head to her perfectly manicured toes. She has curves and wears beautiful dresses to accentuate them. Marchesa seems to be her favourite designer at the moment as she has worn them to the Oscars and the Golden Globes this year.

Resse Witherspoon is The Sophisticate. This year has brought out the best in Reese. She has ditched the mumsy look and went for the spectacular when she arrived at the Oscars in a Nina Ricci gown. She also looks great in simple black ensembles on the streets of L.A.

Gwen Stefani is The Trendsetter. Sticking to a strict palette of red lips, mostly white, black and trademark leopard, Gwen Stefani looks great in Couture dresses. She is also looks great when she is just hanging out and about.

Ali Larter is The Newcomer. Perfect choice as Ali has barely put a foot wrong this year. Whether she’s in Calvin Klein or mixing Prada with the Gap while showing off her killer legs, you’d never know she wasn’t an old pro at looking good.

Zac Posen collection was a fabulous mix of red carpet dresses and everyday wear. The colour were a mix of ivorys and nudes and then more dramatic with reds, yellows and royal blues. Very litt

Anna Wintour, Bijou Phillips, Demi Moore, Ivana Trump, Lucy Liu, Martha Stewart, Sean “Diddy” Combs and Serena Williams all attended this show.

Monique Lhuillier collection did not disappoint with floor sweeping gowns all red carpet ready. An Emmy nominee would be wise to choose from this collection.

Vanilla, mint, latte, and sky blue were the colours used in this fabulous collection.

LeAnn Rimes and Michelle Trachtenberg attended this show both wearing Monique’s dreamy, ultra-feminine silk, tulle and organza dresses.

Calvin Klein collection was very simple and minimalist. Many of the pieces were sheaths and skinny pants. The colours were mostly creamy whites, cement grey’s and the odd watery blue and green here and there.

Rosario Dawson and Kate Bosworth both looked fantastic attending this show. Julianne Moore was also in attendance.

JustSweet. The name kind of says it all really. There was no ground-breaking designs here and personally I think New York Fashion Week is a big stage to show such ‘been there, done that’ designs.

Michelle Trachtenberg, Maggie Grace, Marley Shelton Marc Anthony and Mya attended Jennifer’s show.

Heatherette as you would expect, loud, mad, but Fabulous.

I may have liked Jennifer Lopez’ outfit here if she had lost the hat.

Simple, yet gorgeous. I love that Diane Kruger did not accessorize this dress, as it did not need it.

Beautiful colour on her.

I am loving Mary J Blige’s new do. I am glad she chose a top to go over the black dress. The animal print works well here.

This has to be the best I have seen Nicky Hilton this year. The baby blue makes her eyes pop.

Michelle Trachtenberg can do cute, but she can also do vamp. Very sexy here.

I love model Lydia Hearst gorgeous red hair. I wish this colour would suit me.

Deborah Cox ruins a perfectly good outfit by not styling her hair before this event.

I guess after going to nearly every show at Fashion Week, plus all the parties, for this event Sophia Bush just ran out of clothes to wear.
