Models @ The 2017 CFDA Fashion Awards

It was all cheekbones and centre-partings as models descended on the 2017 CFDA Fashion Awards on Monday (June 5) in New York City.

Bella Hadid: The model is a fan of flashing flesh but kept it sophisticated in this blazer-style dress from Off-White Fall 2017. Top marks for the flared sleeves and retro full fringe. We’ll ignore the pale pink lunch bag style clutch.

Maye Musk: I do love the humour and personality in this Rosie Assoulin Spring 2017 dress. It’s unashamedly extroverted and doesn’t apologise for its bling accessories courtesy of Atelier Swarovski Fine Jewelry.

Karen Elson: Ah, red and green a hallowed combination that almost never goes wrong. Unfortunately, the tried and tested combo falls short here. The Anna Sui Fall 2017 dress is a confusing array of frills, draping, and puff sleeves. Combined with heavy shoes, this look is overwhelmingly bad.

Hilary Rhoda In Pamella Roland – Whitney Museum Celebrates Annual Spring Gala

Hilary Rhoda is a big fan of Pamella Roland, having been spotted wearing the designer on multiple occasions, with the most recent coming at the Whitney Museum’s annual Spring Gala on Tuesday (May 23) in New York City.

The model stepped out in a plunging mint-green jumpsuit from the Spring 2017 collection which looked amazing.

This outfit works so well is because it’s a simple cut that perfectly compliments Hilary’s toned physique, and if she was trying to achieve a look that was minimalist chic, she definitely succeeded.

If you’re an incredibly fit 5ft 11 model, then it makes sense to show off your figure in a one-piece like this one, right?

amfAR New York Gala Red Carpet Roundup

Many more models were in attendance at the 19th Annual amfAR New York Gala, honouring Donatella Versace, on Wednesday (February 8) in New York City.

Adriana Lima: Although she wasn’t dressed in Versace, the supermodel’s Zuhair Murad dressing gown-inspired design, paired with Giuseppe Zanotti sandals, brought plenty of seductive appeal. While the lace lingerie aesthetic is nothing new, there’s no denying that Adriana—and her dramatic red lip—delivered the look with smoldering allure that could easily make us forget the sheer fatigue.

Liu Wen: Compared to Adriana, the model’s Rita Vinieri black and white gown seemed mighty tame. Yet I loved the ease with which she wore this minimalistic moment that was assured of a classically sophisticated standing at the event. Giuseppe Zanotti sandals finished the look.

2015 Glamour Women of the Year Awards Red Carpet Roundup

Here is a roundup of the other lovely ladies who attended the 2015 Glamour Women Of The Year Awards at Carnegie Hall on Monday (November 9) in New York City.

Iman: The supermodel was in no mood to share the spotlight, taking to the red carpet in a dramatic Brandon Maxwell Spring 2016 gown with voluminous sleeves. I love how this piece oozes  couture craftsmanship. You may remember that Lady Gaga wore this in white to the Emmys after-party.

Victoria Beckham: The British designer was one of the big winners on the night. She collected her award wearing a sultry red gown from her Spring 2016 collection.

18th Annual Accessories Council ACE Awards

The 18th Annual Accessories Council ACE Awards took place in New York City on Monday (November 2).

Taraji P. Henson: The ‘Empire’ actress continued with her love affair with all things Alexander Wang wearing a black strapless dress with split waist strapping from the Spring 2016 collection. We first saw this split waist strapping on Miranda Kerr recently, so it looks like this could become a new trend. Will you be trying it? Alexander Wang ‘Antonia’ sandals and an Alexander Wang Chastity pouch, plus Lorraine Schwartz jewels which included a black diamond wrap around cuff completed her look.

Ivanka Trump: The entrepreneur received the ‘Breakthrough Award’ wearing a Carolina Herrera light blue floral v-neck dress, styled with Ivanka Trump Collection ‘Hotis’ sandals, Ivanka Trump Collection ‘Minaudiere’ Clutch and Ivanka Trump Collection jewels which created the perfect uptown meets high-street look.

Hilary Rhoda: The model wore a sexy LBD as her night was all about debuting her Holiday shoe collection with Viga Spiga.

Hilary Rhoda In Kaufmanfranco – ‘Spotlight’ Venice Film Festival Premiere

Hilary Rhoda In Kaufmanfranco - 'Spotlight' Venice Film Festival Premiere

Hilary Rhoda graced the red carpet of the 2015 Venice Film Festival ‘Spotlight’ premiere held at Sala Grande on Thursday (September 3) in Venice, Italy, where she was photographed alongside Chopard co-president and artistic director Caroline Scheufele.

Elegant glamour personified, the model was dressed in a Kaufmanfranco sequin spiderweb mesh design where she was likely adorned in Chopard’s dazzlers, as she recently announced her role as the new face of the brand’s Imperiale collection on Instagram.

Maintaining the precarious balance between glittery gown and statement jewelry, the look was striking without venturing into overdone territory.

This was likely due to the languid, relaxed silhouette of the dress and her sleekly simplified bun.
