Eva Green In Elie Saab – ‘Penny Dreadful’ World Premiere

Eva Green In Elie Saab - 'Penny Dreadful' World Premiere

Eva Green attended the ‘Penny Dreadful’ series world premiere held at The Highline Hotel on Tuesday (May 6) in New York City.

Taking a rare night off from wearing all black, the French beauty selected a white Elie Saab Resort 2014 jumpsuit crafted from a fluid silk fabric with a sheer black yoke and sleeves.

The theatrical proportions called for minimal styling, which is why Eva slicked back her raven mane and added just a few rings to her look.

Eva Green In Elie Saab Couture – ‘300: Rise Of An Empire’ LA Premiere

Eva Green In Elie Saab Couture - '300 Rise Of An Empire' LA Premiere

Eva Green made a welcome return to the red carpet for the LA premiere of ‘300: Rise Of An Empire’ held at TCL Chinese Theatre on Tuesday (March 4) in Hollywood, California.

The French actress, who had an all-black phase for a while, switched things up with a greige Elie Saab Fall 2013 Couture embellished chiffon gown with a built-in cape detail.

I love the greige colour against her milky complexion and the addition of the rouge lip for a pop of colour.

Very old-Hollywood glam.

Who Wore Tom Ford Better? Anne Hathaway, Elle Macpherson or Eva Green

Anne Hathaway showcased many gorgeous dresses whilst hosting the 2011 Oscars.

The one we are focusing on here is her bedazzled high-necked Tom Ford gown, which was the most controversial on the night and has gone on to be worn on two more occasions.

Supermodel and reality TV host Elle Macpherson wore the same dress back in January to the 2012 National Television Awards held in London.

Even with all that embellishment, Elle went on to add diamond-encrusted statement earrings which weren’t needed with this particular gown.

Eva Green was the only one who nailed this look for me when she wore it to the ‘Dark Shadows’ LA premiere back in May.

This gown suits her dark, mysterious persona and unlike Elle she didn’t appear to be trying too hard.

Eva Green In Tom Ford – ‘Dark Shadows’ London Premiere

Eva Green posed on the red carpet outside of the Empire Leicester Square in London this evening for the European premiere of her latest movie, ‘Dark Shadows’.

The French actress wore another Tom Ford Fall 2011 gown.

On this occasion the dark blue velvet gown with slashed neckline and bold shoulders was teamed with gold cuffs and a Solange Azagury-Partridge ‘Cage Ring’ emerald ring.

The colour is gorgeous against her milky complexion, but I still want more from her. She can do so much better, even thought this look is pretty epic.

Side swept wavy raven tresses, kohl-rimmed eyes and a bright red lip colour completed her look.

Eva Green In Tom Ford – ‘Dark Shadows’ LA Premiere

Eva Green attended the LA premiere of her latest movie ‘Dark Shadows’ at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Hollywood on Monday.

The French beauty wore a very familiar gown from the Tom Ford Fall 2011 collection.

Whilst her high-neck, long-sleeve embellished gown is stunning on her, but it has already been worn by Elle McPherson and Anne Hathaway.

Eva may be the best of the three, but I really wanted to be blown away by her next red-carpet appearance and a thrice re-run gown takes the gloss out of it.

Eva Green For InStyle UK June 2012

Eva Green appears on the cover for InStyle UK’s June 2012 issue which was shot by Rankin.

The feature is titled ‘White Mischief’ as the ‘Dark Shadows’ actress donned a selection of all white and gold looks by Gucci, Givenchy and Tom Ford.

In her interview she shares that her favourite designers are Alexander McQueen, Tom Ford, Christian Dior and Antonio Berardi.

I remember that when Eva first burst onto the scene, she was always wearing Dior Couture.

Let’s hope the promo tour for this movie brings out some breathtaking – preferably non-all-black – red-carpet moments from the French actress.

The magazine is on sale now. Click here for a look behind the scenes from the shoot.
