Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Emma Roberts was seen out shopping in Beverly Hills earlier this week.

She glammed up her black skinny jeans and white top by adding a Chanel Resort 2011 cardigan.

The luxe cropped suede lambskin cardigan has gold trim detailing.

Emma accessorized with a black Chanel quilted bag and Christian Louboutin ‘Daffodile’ platform pumps.

Now I know why celebs love these heels so much, they make your legs look really skinny.

Emma Roberts seemed to pop up at lot of parties over the Oscar weekend including the Chanel and Charles Finch Pre-Oscar Dinner at Madeo Restaurant in LA.

The young actress wore a black and white Chanel Spring 2011 romper which she paired with Chanel costume jewelry earrings, a Chanel cuff and Chanel bag from the 2011 Spring collection.

I found myself being instantly drawn to her clutch than the rest of her look.

I love how you can slide your hand into the butterfly motif quilted clutch which has a tiny gold Chanel logo on the front.

Despite it being a Spring clutch is perfect transitional piece which can be used right now.

A black cardigan and Brian Atwood ‘Zenith’ pumps completed her look.

If I could remove one thing from this look it would be the cuff.

It’s not really necessary and isn’t enhancing her look in anyway.

Emma Roberts was front row at Jenny Packham’s recent Fall 2011 presentation, but she picked a dress from Spring 2011 for her Elton John’s AIDS Foundation’s Oscar Viewing Party look.

She made the right choice as her Jenny Packham grey sequined chiffon gown with a plunging neckline is sensational.

I love the burst of sequins.

Her dazzling look was paired with a silver Kelly Locke clutch and Neil Lane jewels.

My only nitpick is that I wish she’s revert back to a darker hair colour.

Should’ve Worn The Runway Colour Award
When I saw Emma Roberts on the red carpet at the 2011 People’s Choice Awards, I wondered if she has been taking style tips from her Aunt Julia Roberts who loves black.

It makes me wonder because why would someone so young and cute opt out of wearing this Christian Dior Spring 2011 dress in purple?

Granted the black ruffled version has an air sophistication which befits the young actress, but her look would’ve been more fun in purple with a contrasting belt.

Do you agree?

Most Daring Award
Emma Roberts has been wearing a lot of Topshop lately, but she opted for a high-end designer when she arrived on the red carpet at the 2010 British Fashion Awards in London this evening.

Surprisingly she opted for a dress from the Julien Macdonald Spring 2011 lingerie inspired collection, after wearing maxi dresses for her last few outings.

The dress is super short I guess the young actress wanted to feel comfortable by adding black tights to her look.

I would’ve love this look even more had they modified the dress by making it less revealing under the bust.

Emma Roberts was the other young star to attend the 2010 British Independent Film Awards in London last night.

She also opted for a high-street brand for her red carpet look.

Emma has been spotted wearing a lot of Topshop both on and off the red carpet, so I wasn’t surprised to see her wearing this Topshop grey skeleton leaf print pleated maxi dress.

The spaghetti strap dress was paired with a beautiful floral statement necklace and a nude Miu Miu clutch.

Her dress is the perfect icy winter dress that could just as easily be worn in the Spring.

I love how both Georgie Henley and Emma are showing young girls how to dress with style and sophistication.
