Elizabeth Banks In Jason Wu - ‘The Hunger Games Catching Fire’ After-Party

Elizabeth Banks joined Jennifer Lawrence at the Royal Courts of Justice in London for ‘The Hunger Games: Catching Fire’ after-party following the photocall and world premiere earlier in the day.

The actress, who you deemed best dressed at the premiere by an overwhelming majority, opted for Jason Wu again, swapping her ballgown for this party-perfect pale-sage metallic organza bias-draped layered frock from the Spring 2014 collection.

Opting to keep the same hairstyle, she decided upon a lighter lip colour on this occasion, selecting a shimmering nude hue which matched her Christian Louboutin ‘So Kate’ pumps.

I already can’t wait to see what she wears to the Berlin premiere this evening.

Elizabeth Banks In Alexander McQueen - 'The Hunger Games Catching Fire' London Photocall

Prior to ‘The Hunger Games: Catching Fire’ world premiere, Elizabeth Banks attended the photocall in London.

She wore an Alexander McQueen Resort 2014 floral-print mini dress with exaggerated patch pockets and a tonal belt which cinched in her waist.

Her legs seem to go on for days in this festive number.

Keeping her hair and makeup simple, she upped the ante a notch with her ponyskin Christian Louboutin ‘Malabar’ studded pumps.

Hopefully this won’t be the last time we seen her in McQueen during this promo tour.

You can buy Elizabeth’s Alexander McQueen Floral Dress from Bergdorf Goodman and Neiman Marcus.

Elizabeth Banks In Jason Wu - 2013 London Hunger Games Premiere

Elizabeth Banks brought a veritable ray of sunshine to the UK premiere of ‘The Hunger Games: Catching Fire,’ hosted this evening at Odeon Leicester Square in London.

The actress completely commanded the red carpet in her bold and beautiful, custom-made Jason Wu strapless confection, a yellow extravaganza of a glam ball gown that still served up sexy appeal with its peekaboo side cutouts.

But it was really the dress’s bright, zesty citron shade—a delicious lemon curd of a hue—that stole the show, so much so that too much added sparkle would have been an unnecessary distraction.

So, Elizabeth maintained a more minimal jewelry approach, wearing just an on-trend Gaydamak hand cuff and a Jacob & Co. ring, also accessorizing with a Nancy Gonzalez clutch and Brian Atwood heels. She polished off the look with a sleek, side-parted updo and a coral-red lip.

Elizabeth Banks In Dolce & Gabbana - Variety's 5th Annual Power of Women Event

Elizabeth Banks made a welcome return to the red carpet for Variety’s 5th Annual Power of Women event held at the Beverly Wilshire Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills, California on Friday afternoon where she was honoured for her work on behalf of the American Heart Association’s Go Red For Women movement.

We haven’t seen much of the actress on the red carpet this summer, so we can forgive her for jumping on the crop trend a little late.

She looked divine wearing a Dolce & Gabbana Fall 2013 red-hot two-piece which both featured lace embroideries.

Nude Christian Louboutin ‘So Kate’ pumps, a ring and bracelet from Jennifer Meyer and gold Irene Neuwirth earrings accessorized her look.

Her blonde tresses were teased into a bouffant updo with a complementary red lip colour to match her ensemble provided the finishing touches.

Elizabeth Banks As Effie Trinket In Alexander McQueen - 'The Hunger Games Catching Fire'

Just before Comic-Con 2013 kicks off on Thursday, a still has been released from the new ‘The Hunger Games: Catching Fire’ movie.

The photo shows Josh Hutcherson as Peeta Mellark and Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss Everdeen, flanked by a typically eccentrically dressed Effie Trinket, played by Elizabeth Banks.

Effie wears an elaborate, structured Alexander McQueen Spring 2011 dress decorated with butterfly appliqués, with a butterfly-adorned fascinator perched on top of her blonde bouffant hairstyle.

Mesh gloves and what appear to be Iris van Herpen Spring 2012 ankle boots, with microbe-like tendrils supporting the base of the foot like stilettos, complete her costume.
