Cate Blanchett In Christian Dior Couture - 'Blue Jasmine' Deauville American Film Festival Premiere

Cate Blanchett attended the premiere of ‘Blue Jasmine’ held during the 2013 Deauville American Film Festival in Deauville, France on Saturday evening.

This is Cate’s second red carpet appearance wearing a look from the Fall 2013 Couture collections, following the opening ceremony on Friday evening.

On this occasion she selected an exquisite Christian Dior gown with colourful embroidered details.

As beautiful as the gown is, I did have some issues with it.

Firstly, it didn’t photograph all that well in a few pictures. This leads me to my second issue, which is that the gown may have been just an inch or two too long.

On the model the gown barely touches the ground, preventing it from looking like a tent on her.

Is this nearly perfect for you? Or does Cate blow you away in this gown?

Cate Blanchett In Armani Privé - Deauville American Film Festival Opening Ceremony

Cate Blanchett attended the opening ceremony of the 2013 Deauville American Film Festival in Deauville, France this evening.

The Australian actress glided down the red carpet wearing a nude Armani Privé Fall 2013 lightly embellished lace coat-dress, which has been slightly modified from the runway as the silk skirt is shorter than the coat.

Her soft, elegant look is in total contrast to the edgy fashion forward Christopher Kane frock she wore earlier this week, which many of you didn’t like.

Initially I was craving a pop of colour, but on reflection this may have been a distraction much like that feathered detail the model wore with this look.

It great to see her back wearing Armani. The house where she belongs. A simple updo and satin Armani Privé ankle strap pumps completed her look.

Does the Queen meet with your approval on this occasion, or is the look too one note for you?

Cate Blanchett In Christopher Kane - 'Blue Jasmine' Paris Premiere

Cate Blanchett arrived at the UGC Ciné Cité Bercy in Paris, France this evening for the ‘Blue Jasmine’ premiere.

Breaking her pastel-pink-and-coral run, she opted for a mysterious Christopher Kane Resort 2014 black-and-nude frock.

The striking cobweb-motif creation with a tulle skirt is a fashion-forward look which I had always pictured on Rooney Mara; however, I’m not sure she would’ve taken my breath away quite as much as Cate does here.

Even with the intricate, complicated pattern, there is still a soft romanticism I am feeling from this look, which could be down to the dress or the women herself – either way, this is a BDOTW-worthy look.

Do you agree?

Cate Blanchett In Roksanda Ilincic - 'Blue Jasmine' Sydney Premiere

Cate Blanchett arrived at the Hayden Cremorne Orpheum in Sydney, Australia this evening for the ‘Blue Jasmine’ premiere.

Sticking to the summery colour palette that has served her so well during this promo tour, the actress delights wearing a Roksanda Illincic short-sleeved dress in a two-tone coral hue.

The dress features the designer’s signature folded neckline which Cate decided not to overbear with accessories, keeping it sweet and simple with gold Christian Louboutin ‘Sylvette’ sandals and a dark-pink lip colour to prevent the colour of her dress from washing her out.

I love the simplicity of this look. She carries it so effortlessly and gracefully, as one would expect.

With Oscar buzz surrounding her performance in this movie, we hopefully have a whole awards season full of breathtaking looks from Cate ahead of her.

Cate Blanchett In Roksanda Ilincic - 'Blue Jasmine' LA Press Conference

Cate Blanchett attended a press conference held at the Four Seasons Hotel in Los Angeles on Thursday for her latest movie, ‘Blue Jasmine’.

Following her blush-coloured Balenciaga. Edition dress, the Australian actress selected the Bordeaux-and-pink triangle detailed ‘Anders’ dress from Roksanda Ilincic’s Fall 2013 collection featuring a gathered centre over the blush runway dress.

With the heat-wave making us opt for the skimpiest pieces we can get away with this look might feel too heavy for the current season, however, the colour is divine against her porcelain skin.

Matching Bordeaux patent leather pumps completed her look.
