Anna Kendrick In Hervé Léger by Max Azria – 2nd Annual Rebels With A Cause Gala

Anna Kendrick In Hervé Léger by Max Azria - 2nd Annual Rebels With A Cause Gala

Anna Kendrick attended the 2nd Annual Rebels With A Cause Gala at Paramount Studios on Thursday (March 20) in Hollywood, California.

The actress donned a short-sleeved Hervé Léger by Max Azria bandage dress cut with a curve-conforming silhouette.

Its flared skirt and high neckline thankfully set it apart from the standard Herve Leger bandage dress.

The styling was very interesting, with emerald-green adding a bit of spice. She handled an Edie Parker ‘Flavia’ clutch in black and green with an art deco detail, and with her part-braided ponytail swept to one side you could see her emerald earrings.

Black pumps and a sugary-pink lip completed her look.

Anna Kendrick In Atelier Versace – Vanity Fair Oscar Party 2014

Anna Kendrick In Atelier Versace - Vanity Fair Oscar Party 2014

Anna Kendrick attended the 2014 Vanity Fair Oscar party on Sunday (March 2) in West Hollywood, California following the main event.

It’s not often, if at all, I put the words Anna Kendrick and sexy in the same sentence, however, Versace and sexy go hand-and-hand.

The actress wore a fitted black gown with plunging neckline and a fully beaded skirt with nude underlay from the Atelier Versace Spring 2014 collection.

Admittedly, I would never have picked this gown for Anna – Gisele Bundchen, Sofia Vergara or Halle Berry would have been my first choices – however, she looks outstanding.

A small black clutch and side swept tresses completed her sexy and sensual look.

I think she totally nailed it. Do you agree?

Anna Kendrick In J. Mendel – Oscars 2014

Anna Kendrick In J. Mendel - Oscars 2014

Anna Kendrick struck a fierce pose on the red carpet at the 2014 Oscars held at the Hollywood & Highland Center on Sunday (March 2) in Hollywood, California.

The star wore an intricate J. Mendel gown from the Fall 2014 collection.

Most stars have been taking a softer, more elegant approach to tonight’s fashion, so I love this slightly edgy look.

The asymmetrical lines, the floral detailing on the peek-a-boo midriff–it all equals the perfect combination of sophisticated and edgy.

Her accents–A sleek updo, a dark wine-colored mani, a red box clutch, and Piaget Fan Elegance earrings–are suited beautifully to the look.

Anna Kendrick In Christian Dior – Film Independent Spirit Awards 2014

Anna Kendrick In Christian Dior - Film Independent Spirit Awards 2014

Anna Kendrick was also in the mix at the 2014 Film Independent Spirit Awards, hosted at Santa Monica Beach in Santa Monica, California today (March 1).

Dressed in head-to-toe Christian Dior, the actress and presenter wore a crisp white, Resort 2014 frock, which had been modified from its original black runway entrance.

Cerulean and blush panels cut through the backless, asymmetrical design, which reflected the colour-blocking theme seen in much of the collection.

Nude Jimmy Choo ‘Xenia’ sandals faded into near non-existence, taking a back seat to the dress, while a ballet-pink and black Dior clutch certainly did not. It may have been a few sizes too big.

A low, wavy ponytail and petal-pink lip finished the look on a softly pretty note.

Anna Kendrick In Tory Burch – Vanity Fair Campaign Hollywood Kick Off Event

Anna Kendrick In Tory Burch - Vanity Fair Campaign Hollywood Kick Off Event

Anna Kendrick was the host of the Vanity Fair Campaign Hollywood Kick Off event held at Sadie Kitchen and Lounge on Friday (February 28) in Los Angeles, California.

The actress wore a pretty Tory Burch ‘Joella’ dress from the Pre-Fall 2014 collection in a cream hue enriched with colourful floral embroidery.

I was glad to see her opt for a stand-out pair of heels; selecting a pair of tri-colour Brian Atwood ‘Tribeca’ platform sandals along with a EF Collection diamond ‘V’ ring, onyx stone earrings and a taupe Mulberry clutch which complemented the embroidery on her frock.

Side swept wavy tresses and a glossy lip completed her look.

Anna Kendrick In Christian Dior – ‘The Last Five Years’ New York Screening

Anna Kendrick In Christian Dior - 'The Last Five Years' New York Screening

Anna Kendrick attended the New York screening of ‘The Last Five Years’ on Monday evening (February 24).

Cementing her ever-rising star status by gaining the privilege of wearing Christian Dior, Anna wore a bicolour Dior dress with fishnet thin straps and full skirt.

A printed Dior clutch and angular-cut Dior pumps ensured all attention was on the dress while Dior Fine Jewellery ‘Pre Catelan’ pink gold, diamonds, and pink quartz earrings and the ‘My Dior’ yellow gold and diamonds bracelet infused a beautiful hint of colour into the look.

For me, you can’t really go wrong in Dior and this modern ladylike dress is a prime example. Anna’s look isn’t OTT or attention-grabbing, it simply epitomises understated elegance. Do you agree?

Carolina Herrera Fall 2014 Front Row

Carolina Herrera Fall 2014 Front Row

Carolina Herrera’s Fall 2014 show during New York Fashion Week took place on Monday (February 10) and, as expected, it drew a celebrity front row full of her most loyal fans.

Emmy Rossum: With so many memorable Carolina Herrera dresses under her belt, Emmy was no doubt shopping for her next red carpet look to be deemed BDOTW worthy. The actress looked uberchic, taking to the front row wearing a Carolina Herrera black-and-gold embroidered halter blouse and ivory wide leg pant with gold belt detail from the Resort 2014 collection. A few of you had mentioned that the last few red carpet appearances from Emmy haven’t exactly floated your boat for one reason or another, but I’m sure you will agree that this outfit puts her firmly back on track. Christian Louboutin ‘Lagoula’ t-bar sandals and rose-gold ‘Sweety Charity’ mini glitter bag with bow detail accessorized her look.

Dita Von Teese: The burlesque star caught the Carolina Herrera bug about 6 months ago, following her attendance to the Spring 2014 show and she continued her love affair on Monday afternoon. She wore a colour other than black when she selected this pink silk mikado blouse with silverfox fur sleeves and bow detail styled with a grey wool flannel pleated pant. Every thing else (hair and makeup) was business as usual.

Monique Lhuillier Fall 2014 Front Row

Monique Lhuillier Fall 2014 Front Row

The front row at Monique Lhuillier’s Fall 2014 show presented during New York Fashion Week on Thursday (February 8) was packed with stars who we are very likely to see wearing the runway looks in the very near future.

Emmy Rossum: Known to wear her fair share of Monique Lhuillier dresses, the ‘Shameless’ actress was front and centre wearing a white lace blouse, bandeau and pencil skirt from the designer’s Spring 2014 collection. The ladylike look was styled with a chic updo, with a red glossy lip and metallic-gold Rupert Sanderson ‘Elbaa’ pumps adding a punch to the look.

Anna Kendrick: The girl who loves a girlie-girl frock was glowing in the front row wearing a gold belted jacquard mini dress with a flared skirt from the Spring 2013 collection, which she styled with ankle-strap gold sandals from Monique Lhuillier’s Fall 2013 collection. Blown-out waves and neutral makeup rounded out this golden look.

Anna Kendrick In Markus Lupfer – The Night That Changed America: A Grammy Salute To The Beatles

Anna Kendrick In Markus Lupfer - The Night That Changed America A Grammy Salute To The Beatles

Anna Kendrick joined Katy Perry on the red carpet at ‘The Night That Changed America: A Grammy Salute To The Beatles’ held at the Los Angeles Convention Center on Monday (January 27) in Los Angeles, California, where she was a guest presenter.

The actress went from sexy at the Grammys to edgy at this event, donning a Markus Lupfer Resort 2014 frock.

This yellow dress with a contrasting black exposed-zipper accent is her third look by Markus Lupfer in the space of a week.

I have to say I like this more experimental look from Anna. It’s not often you can say ‘Anna Kendrick’ and ‘edgy’ in the same sentence.

As much as I love the black styling, including a Rauwolf clutch, I’m not too fond of the Christian Louboutin ankle boots for my personal taste, but I suppose they work for the look she was going for.

Do the ankle boots work for you?
