Allison Williams In Misha Nonoo – CFDA/Vogue 2013 Fashion Fund Finalists

Allison Williams In Misha Nonoo Fall - CFDA Vogue 2013 Fashion Fund Finalists

While Lena Dunham was at the Glamour Women of the Year Awards, her ‘Girls’ co-star Allison Williams was across town at Spring Studios in New York City attending the CFDA and Vogue 2013 Fashion Fund Finalists celebration.

Wearing what’s swiftly becoming the hottest red carpet Louboutin shoe after the ‘So Kate’ pump, the actress added some dazzle to her look via her ‘Artifice’ pumps, which we recently saw on Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.

Wearing her much-fussed-about hair slicked back into a bun and a bold red lip colour to embolden her look, she donned a Misha Nonoo white cotton oversized blouse with silk-organza panels and a box-pleat back detail from the Spring 2014 collection with a black silk-faille dirndl skirt with a sheer organza panel detail from the Fall 2013 collection.

While the look may be considered too plain on a red carpet full of dressy looks, the sheer panels, lip colour and shoes keep me very interested.

Allison Williams In Carolina Herrera – 2013 Library Lions Gala

Allison Williams In Carolina Herrera - 2013 Library Lions Gala

Allison Williams attended the 2013 Library Lions Gala held at The New York Public Library in the Stephen A. Schwarzman Building in New York City yesterday evening.

Giving further reason to fall in love with her style, the ‘Girls’ actress wore a Carolina Herrera Spring 2014 look with Dana Rebecca Designs jewels.

I had picked this smoky-umber-and-shell-pink kinetic-square-print gown with a silk-organza overlay styled with a smoky-umber-and-black peplum mesh belt for Kate Beckinsale in my NYFW wish list, but as both actresses have the same sweet, girlie-girl style and glossy brunette locks I feel that my choice wasn’t too far off – so I’m telling myself.

Having debuted her new ‘Rachel’ haircut last week, she sported a retro wavy ‘do on this occasion.

J’adore from head to toe. Especially that orangey-chocolate lip colour.

Allison Williams In Calvin Klein Collection – Marie Claire’s Power Women Lunch

Allison Williams In Calvin Klein Collection - Marie Claire's Power Women Lunch

Allison Williams worked two looks for Marie Claire’s Power Women Lunch Presented By L’Oreal Paris in New York City yesterday afternoon.

Well, it’s not exactly two looks, as the ‘Girls’ actress arrived at the event wearing a luxe orange wool coat and carrying a Calvin Klein bag, which was lustworthy enough, then the removal of her outwear and arm candy fully revealed a cool, crisp, clean Calvin Klein Spring 2014 look.

You may be thinking ‘What’s the big deal with this simple white sleeveless top and loose-fit pants?’, but what I love about this is the dual summery/winter-white appeal, plus she continues to work different looks on the red carpet giving us more than the obvious fit-and-flare frock.

What do you guys think of her new haircut? Looks like an updated version of the ‘Rachel’ cut.

Allison Williams In Christian Dior – Elton John AIDS Foundation’s 12th Annual ‘An Enduring Vision’ Benefit Gala

Allison Williams In Christian Dior - Elton John AIDS Foundation's 12th Annual 'An Enduring Vision' Benefit Gala

Allison Williams attended the Elton John AIDS Foundation’s 12th Annual ‘An Enduring Vision’ benefit gala at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City yesterday evening.

There was a time when you could pick out an Allison Williams look from any Oscar de la Renta look book, but she appears to be switching things up a little, working different silhouettes and hairstyles into her red carpet repertoire.

On this occasion she wore a Dior long black dress with a shawl collar which trails down her back, styling the look with a simple ponytail and flawless makeup including a glossy nude lip.

She accessorized with black satin sandals, a Dior black clutch and a collection of Dior fine jewelry including a ‘Ma Bague’ yellow-gold, diamond and fuchsia-tourmaline ring and ‘Pluie D’Ete’ white-gold-and-diamond earrings .

While I really like her sophisticated look, something is missing.

Jewels in a more vibrant (emerald) hue, a bejewelled clutch or perhaps a bold lip colour: I just can’t put my finger on what would’ve made me love this look.

Allison Williams In Vintage Geoffrey Beene – 7th Annual Exploring The Arts Gala

Allison Williams In Geoffrey Beene - 7th Annual Exploring The Arts Gala

Allison Williams attended the 7th annual Exploring the Arts Gala held at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City yesterday evening.

We have been crying out for something new other than the fit-and-flare uptown-girl dresses she tends to favour, so I’m delighted to see her in this Geoffrey Beene vintage frock styled with Fred Leighton jewels and black Louboutin pumps.

While I do wish her black-and-cream halter dress had a more defined waist I find myself applauding this look.

Not only did she switch up her dress, she also sported a sleek bun with strong brows Lily Collins would be proud of, and vampy black eyeliner executing her baby blues.

Refreshing change or ‘be careful what you wish for’?

Allison Williams In Ralph Lauren – 2013 Emmy Awards

Allison Williams In Ralph Lauren - 2013 Emmy Awards

As opposed to her ‘Girls’ co-stars Zosia Mamet and Lena Dunham, Allison Williams kept her sartorial approach far more chic and effortless at the 2013 Primetime Emmy Awards on Sunday at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in California.

The actress dazzled simply by way of colour in her one-of-a-kind Ralph Lauren Spring 2014 strapless corset gown that fit her like a glove.

The deep cerulean-blue hue was definitely the star of the show, but she did add a few Fred Leighton jewels, including a giant pink gemstone cocktail ring and gold bracelet cuffs.

While Allison called her vampy black Roger Vivier stilettos ‘menacing’ when interviewed on the red carpet, her tousled, long waves and blush-nude lip were more on the girly side.
