Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Gucci ruled the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival premiere of “Il Gattopardo”.

Camilla Belle and Kate Beckinsale are joined by Aishwarya Rai, Salma Hayek, Lea Seydoux and designer Frida Giannini all wearing Gucci.

Aishwarya wore a one of a kind Gucci magenta pleated chiffon gown.

In comparison to the her other looks, this twisted halter neck gown has been the most flattering to her figure.

Salma wears her second Gucci Première gown of this festival.

On this occasion she opted for a fiery red one shoulder gown with sweeping drape detail across the waist and hip.

The gown dazzles with red bugle beaded embroidered detail.

I like this gown, but her previous gown was far superior.

Lea Seydoux wore a Gucci Première champagne charmeause column gown with cut out sleeves.

The bodice is encrusted with silver and gold metallic beading.

Frida’s sparkled most brightly wearing a silver Gucci Première gown paired with Gucci fine jewelry.

Aishwarya Rai was back on the red carpet this evening for the “On Tour” Premiere during Cannes Film Festival.

I’m still shocked that some of you referred to Aishwarya previous look as matronly.

I feel pretty confident this stunning Armani Privé gown won’t receive the same response.

Her black gown was layered with lacquered black jet beads and multi-coloured crystals at the bust to add a touch of sparkle.

The gown stops just before the floor, so we can see her silver satin heels with a cute bow accent.

A Ferragamo black satin clutch completes the look.

Her look is beautiful, bedazzling and befitting for the Bollywood babe.

Actress Aishwarya Rai was spotted on the Martinez Terrace during Cannes Film Festival earlier today looking stunning.

She thankfully isn’t sporting the helmet hair from yesterday. This time her tresses are flowing elegantly.

With picturesque clear blue skies in the background the Bollywood actress looked beautiful wearing an Emilio Pucci sequin trim print dress, which we saw on the Spring 2010 runway as a silk mini dress.

Her look was paired with superstar shades and Christian Louboutin Almeria 120 wedge sandals.

Thanks to Aishwarya Rai we didn’t have to wait long to see Elie Saab on the red carpet at Cannes Film Festival.

The Indian model/actress glided down the red carpet wearing a stunning blue Elie Saab Spring 2010 Couture gown.

I love the scalloped details all over the gown which was accented by velvet floral buds.

These buds also appear on the chiffon detail which drape off her shoulders.

If I would critique one thing it would be her hair. It had a bit too much volume for my liking.

Other than that she ticks all the boxes and looks absolutely fabulous, which is easy in an Elie Saab gown.

The beautiful Indian actress Sonam Kapoor wore 80s Thierry Mugler black one shouldered dress to one of the many events during the International Indian Film Festival held in Macau.

She paired the dress with a gold fish shaped pendent necklace, Louboutin heels and a Ferragamo clutch.

Sushmita Sen showed-off her fabulous figure in a body-hugging black Roberto Cavalli Spring 2009 dress.

The dress has been modified slightly from the runway.  The cut-outs have been filled with a sheer panel.

Black strappy sandals and a gold cuff complete her look.

For another event Sonam Kapoor wore an intricate silver satin toga designed by Anamika Khanna with a long flared skirt.

Her look was complete with a Jimmy Choo clutch.

Aishwarya Rai exuded style wearing a Nachiket Barve Fall 2008 taffeta dress with a sheer yoke, textured bodice and pleated skirt.

She accessorized with black peep toe heels, diamond drop earrings, a gold bangle and a glittery silver clutch.

Despite Cannes Film Festival bringing us some of the best red carpet looks I’ve been craving for all year, we have seen many re-runs.

Korean actress Bae Doo-Na was the third celebrity to wear the strapless red satin Christian Dior Spring 2009 gown, which has a draped detail on the hip.

She wore it when she arrived at the Air Doll Premiere during Cannes Film Festival last week, with a gorgeous red and gold clutch.

Gisele Bundchen was slightly over-dress when she took to the stage at the launch of SKY HDTV in Brazil last month.

Aishwarya Rai was the first to wear this dress nearly a year ago, to the 2008 International Indian Film Academy Awards, whilst carrying a silver jeweled clutch.

Despite Gisele wearing this gown to a slighty informal event, she simply glows, and she’s wearing the least make-up.
