Get The Look: Elisabeth Moss’ The PEOPLE Magazine Awards Makeup

unnamedCelebrity makeup artist Tamah worked with Elisabeth Moss for the PEOPLE Magazine Awards on Thursday (December 18).

“Our inspiration was a modern-day Marilyn Monroe. Who better, ever?!” said Tamah.

Here’s how to get the look.

On Elisabeth’s eyes Tamah used Benefit Cream Color in Flatter Me. She then applied it with a fluffy brush for a really soft look. Over that she layered some short and medium knot-free Ardell Individual Lashes. At her lash line she blended Bobbi Brown Gel Liner in Black and layered MAC Costa Riche Eyeliner over that with a pencil brush for a super-soft smudgy look. She then layered a bit of Costa Riche under her bottom lashes as well for definition.

Tamah filled in Elisabeth’s natural brow shape with Anastasia Brow Wiz in Caramel.

On the skin she used Koh Gen Do Aqua Foundation in 002 and spot concealed with Laura Mercier Secret Camouflage in 02 and 03.

On the cheeks she used MAC Cream Color in Something Special and topped that off with Topshop Bronzer in Sandcastle.

Tamah finished her look with a lick of NYX Butter Lipstick in Big Cherry and a light dusting of Laura Mercier Translucent Powder.

Get The Look: Karolina Kurkova’s Valentino Sala Bianca 945 Braided Bun

Celebrity hairstylist Jennifer Yepez worked with Karolina Kurkova for the Valentino Sala Bianca 945 Event on Wednesday (December 10) in New York City.

Explaining her beauty inspiration, Jennifer said, “Karolina’s Valentino dress was beautiful and romantic so we wanted the hair to be modern and strong. We felt a centre part with sleek shine would work best. We also wanted something special in the back so I created a beautiful braided bun.”

Here’s how to get the look.

Jennifer began by spraying PHYTO Phytovolume Actif Volumizer Spray section by section and blew the hair dry using a Mason Pearson brush. She made sure to spray from roots to ends in order to get a better grip on the ponytail and to make the hair thicker for the braid.

Once the hair was dry, she created the centre part. She used the Mason Pearson to smooth the hair and make the ponytail, securing it with an elastic hook. Once secured, she sprayed Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray throughout the ponytail to give it volume and a bit of texture.

Next she braided the ponytail and secured it with a small elastic band. She carefully shaped the braid to Karolina’s head and used small hair pins (matching her hair colour) to pin it in place. She sprayed a bit of Kerastase Laque Couture Hairspray to tame flyaways. She also used a tail comb on the back of the braid to tuck in any loose ends and a small teasing brush (a toothbrush works well, too) to smooth the front of the hair.

The look was finished with Kerastase Touche Finale for extra shine, and she was carpet-ready.

Get The Look Karolina Kurkova's Easy-Looking Rimowa Opening Event Hair

Celebrity hairstylist Bryce Scarlett worked with Karolina Kurkova for the Rimowa opening event on Wednesday in Miami, Florida.

Explaining his beauty inspiration, Bryce said, “Karolina’s Delpozo look was strong yet feminine so we wanted to go with feminine, easy-looking hair. We decided on a very low loose pony.”

Here’s how to get the look.

Bryce blew her hair out with Leonor Greyl Mousse Au Lotus Volumatrice, set it in soft waves and then brushed them out.

He secured the pony with a very small clear elastic band slipped over the hair (not doubled up) so that it just barely held the hair together and sat very low on her shoulders, giving the appearance it was barely secured.

The look was finished with a few drops of Leonor Greyl Eclat Naturel through the ends.

Christian Louboutin Rouge Louboutin Starlight

Christian Louboutin Rouge Louboutin Starlight

Earlier this year Christian Louboutin debuted their beauty range with a line of nail polishes, first a signature red shade before launching more colours ranging from bright colours to nude and rich autumn shades.

Those cylinder-shaped polishes started at a budget-friendly £36, but their latest offering, the Rouge Louboutin Starlight, costs a lot more – £495/$675 to be precise.

And here’s why: the Rouge Louboutin Nail Colour has been transformed into a rare exquisite jewel with 1,500 two-tone Strass crystals hand applied with the utmost attention to detail, creating a reflective garment that magnifies the architecture of the faceted glass bottle and extreme height cap, glorifying the iconic red nail colour.

The glimmering Rouge Louboutin is preciously encased in a velvet soft black insert, sitting in a jewellery-like box with a black lacquered finish, showcasing a red reveal. Two leather and Strass flowers borrowed from Fall 2014 ‘Pensamoi’ rest delicately as a decorative accent on the box cover.

Only 1,000 pieces have been made available worldwide due to the intricate handcrafting of the process Rouge Louboutin Starlight.

You can buy the Rouge Louboutin Starlight from Christian Louboutin boutiques and online, Harvey Nichols, Nordstrom and Sephora.
