Get The Look: Rosie Huntington-Whiteley’s Shimmering Eyes

unnamedCelebrity makeup artist Lisa Storey worked with Rosie Huntington-Whiteley for the FORWARD by Elyse Walker & Anthony Vaccarello Dinner on Wednesday (October 22).

Lisa explains, “Rosie wanted a simple look for a casual event so I focused on a shimmering eye.”

Here’s how to get the look.

Lisa began by dusting the lighter shade of the Tom Ford Eye Color Quad in Seductive Rose over the entire eyelid, followed by the darker shade on the edge of the eye, top and bottom.

She used a small, soft brush to give a tinge of colour from the darker shade and applied the light-pink shade more intensely to the inner corner of the eye. Then she framed the eye behind the lash line with Tom Ford Eye Defining Pen, extending the line out beyond the lash line to give the eye a little lift. She then applied Dior Blackout Mascara to the top and bottom lashes.

On the cheeks she used Tom Ford Cheek Color in Wicked to give a vibrant pinky glow.

On the lips she used L’Oreal Paris Color Riche Glossy Balm in My Baby Doll.

Lisa finished with a light dusting of Tom Ford Illuminating Powder.

Get The Look: January Jones’ Effortless, Touchable Hair

Opening Of Restoration Hardware West Hollywood The Gallery On Melrose AvenueCelebrity hairstylist Clariss Rubenstein worked with January Jones for the opening of Restoration Hardware West Hollywood The Gallery on Wednesday (October 22).

Sharing her inspiration, Clariss said, “I wanted January’s hair to look effortless and touchable. Her hair is super healthy and shiny right now and I wanted to enhance that.”

Here’s how to get the look.

After blow-drying January’s hair with just a few sprays of Bumble & Bumble Thickening Spray, Clariss used a one-inch-barrel curling iron and wrapped the hair in different directions so that it had movement and didn’t look too uniform.

To finish the look she used Unite Texturiza Spray, which I love (it’s a dry shampoo, a texturizer, and light hairspray all in one), at the roots only. She also added a few sprays of Oribe Shine Light Reflecting Spray to the ends.

Get The Look: Dianna Agron’s CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Event Hair & Makeup

Dianna Agron - CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund EventCelebrity makeup artist Georgie Eisdell and celebrity hairstylist Christian Wood worked with Dianna Agron for the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund event on Tuesday.

MAKEUP ARTIST GEORGIE EISDELL

Georgie explains her beauty inspiration: “For Dianna at the CFDA/Vogue event, I wanted a clean and effortless look that was modern.”

Here’s how to get the look.

Georgie started by prepping Dianna’s skin with IS Clinical Hydra Cool Serum and Orlane Super Moisturizing Light Cream.

Next she evened out Dianna’s skin with Tom Ford Traceless Foundation Stick. To give her skin a beautiful glow, she powdered with La Mer The Powder and then used Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette on the high points of her face to give her that perfectly illuminated skin.

On the apples of her cheeks, Georgie used Tom Ford Cheek Color in Frantic Pink.

On Dianna’s eyes, she washed over her lids with Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette very lightly to create a glow, then applied two layers of YSL Faux Cils Mascara in Black and added individual Stilazzi Lashes for extra length and depth. She defined Dianna’s brows with Laura Mercier Brow Definer in Warm.

Finally, Georgie used NARS Lip Lacquer in Baby Doll for the perfect pout.

HAIRSTYLIST CHRISTIAN WOOD

Christian explains his inspiration: “I wanted to give the vintage-feeling dress a modern, sleek, tougher edge. A slicked-back deep side part with a simple low twist at the back was what we decided on.”

Here’s how to get the look.

Dianna washed and conditioned her hair with Fekkai Shea Butter Shampoo and Conditioner. This gave a smooth, moistened base to the hair to make it malleable to work with.

While the hair was wet, Christian added a very generous amount of Oribe Gold Lust Serum throughout and used a tail comb to place the deep side part.

Next he used a Mason Pearson Brush to brush the hair as tightly as possible into a low ponytail and secured it with an elastic. He then twisted the ponytail into a knot at the nape of the neck and secured it with bobby pins to hold in place. Oribe Superfine Hairspray smoothed out any flyaways and gave the hair a subtle hold.

Lastly, he placed Fekkai Sheer Sculpt Gel on the tip of his finger and gently layered the product on the part and various other sections of the hair. This added a form of highlight that picked up under the light and gave a glossier, sleeker appearance.

CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Event Hosted By Diane von Furstenberg, Reese Witherspoon, Mark Holgate, And Lisa LoveCelebrity hairstylist Cervando Maldonado and celebrity makeup artist Beau Nelson worked with the beautiful Odeya Rush for the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund event on Tuesday (October 21).

HAIRSTYLIST CERVANDO MALDONADO

Cervando shares his inspiration: “The inspiration was a young, fresh look for Odeya. Simple and beautiful.”

Here’s how to get the look.

He began by prepping her damp hair with Kerastase Volumactive Mousse, using a golf-ball-sized amount and distributing it evenly throughout the hair. Next he applied Oscar Blandi Volumizing Spray throughout the roots.

Then he blow dried the hair, starting in the front of the head and working his way to the back, using an Ibiza Boar Bristle Brush and Harry Josh Blow-Dryer. He dried the hair so it was straight and smooth with a little movement.

Next he sectioned off the hair and began curling it with a T3 1.5 Inch Curling Iron, starting from the bottom of the head and working his way to the top, creating loose natural waves. He sprayed Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray through the hair, adding volume and texture, and used his fingers to comb out the curls into a more natural fashion. He also sprayed a bit of Sachajuan Super Strong Hairspray around the hairline and throughout the hairstyle to hold in place and add shine for a beautiful young, fresh look.
