Rita Ora In Magda Butrym & ALEXACHUNG – Out In New York & The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon

Leaving her ’70s hippie-dippy ways in the not-so-distant past, Rita Ora stepped out again in New York City on Tuesday (July 18) before swinging by ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’ for a performance.

Out in New York: First up, she donned a Magda Butrym Spring 2017 high-low dress and turned it into a girly, French-inspired getup with the beret. Retro influences still remained with the Dita Collection cat-eye shades, creating a cute finish to the look, but the blinding-white sneakers just didn’t fit in—no matter how comfortable they were.

The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon: Looking radiant, she wore a pyjama-stripe pantsuit from the ALEXACHUNG Pre-Fall 2017 collection. My affinity for the loose, menswear-influenced pieces grew with Rita’s more streamlined interpretation—with the buttoned blazer sans white dress shirt.

Many of you couldn’t get on board with her ’70s show. What do you make of her latest round of looks?

Mischa Barton In Mémère – ABCs’s The View

It’s been awhile since we’ve seen Mischa Barton, but she made an appearance on ABC’s ‘The View’ on Friday (July 14) in New York City.

On this occasion, her version of an LBD was a slightly deconstructed Mémère design with asymmetric ruffles and frayed edges for an unfinished-chic look.

The loosely fitted, dropped-waist dress didn’t have much shaping, so her Kendall Miles sandals along with a Lauren Cecchi army-green, crossbody bag helped define the silhouette with Erickson Beamon earrings topping it off.

Pixie Lott In Nedo By Nedret Taciroglu – The Voice Kids Final

It may have been Thursday, but Pixie Lott was already channeling Saturday Night Fever at ‘The Voice Kids’ Final photocall on July 13 in London.

With a sort of futuristic-disco vibe, she brought plenty of dazzle in this Nedo By Nedret Taciroglu Fall 2017 one-piece that featured all-over embellishment and an illusion neckline.

Given this level of high-octane shimmer, her swept-back pink locks took a back seat to the boldness of her outfit.

Even though tall silver platforms were part of the equation—likely for their height—the success of this look was partly due to the minimally streamlined styling, as the jumpsuit was already head-turner enough.

Heidi Klum In Galvan – Good Morning America

Heidi Klum was sure to turn heads as she made her way to the ‘Good Morning America’ studios on Thursday (July 6) in New York City to promote ‘Project Runway’ premiering August 17.

The supermodel judge wore a Galvan Spring 2017 yellow-gold satin slip dress with a trendy lace-up slit along the side.

Something tells me I would’ve preferred this in a pastel blue hue, but there is no denying how radiant she looks here, especially when her look has been styled with matching Giuseppe Zanotti gold sandals and mirrored gold Thom Browne sunglasses.

Was this too one note for you, or perfectly matched?

Kristen Wiig In Markus Lupfer – El Hormiguero

Kristen Wiig made a guest appearance on the Spanish TV show, El Hormiguero last week while promoting ‘Despicable Me 3′.

Her style during this promo tour hasn’t been consistent, and the bowl-cut hairstyle was killing some of her better looks, but she fared much better on this occasion wearing Markus Lupfer.

I love how the tassel earrings complement the print on the floral Fall 2017 dress, but it’s the Malone Souliers’ ‘Donna’ mules which give this look its edge; preventing it from feeling too mumsy.

Kristen Wiig In Tanya Taylor – The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon

On Wednesday (June 28) Kristen Wiig made a guest appearance on ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’ to talk all things minions and making movies while promoting ‘Despicable Me 3’.

The actress donned a fun and flirty Tanya Taylor Fall 2017 dress which I love for the Japanese-style blossom embroidery.

However, heaviness descended on the look due to the weighty Jimmy Choo ‘April’ sandals, the unnecessary addition of the belt; plus the return of the dated bowl hairstyle isn’t doing her any favours.

Was this a hit or miss for you?
