Back in
November , I informed you that Kirsten Dunst would be the face of
Miu Miu’s Spring 2008 campaign.
The campaign is very dark, much like the presentation of the Spring 2008 collection in Paris back in October.
This first ad (above) does not have much life to it.

The second ad has more personality, it’s fun and cheeky just like Kirsten.

Just when I thought the Versace Spring 2008 campaign could not get any better, these pictures appear on the Versace website.
This is some of Gisele Bündchen best work.
Donatella casting of this ad was a masterstroke because I have never really considered buying Versace bags or shoes, but this campaign has ensured that I will be going to check them out.
Those strappy shoes need a place in my closet.

I was so distracted by the Prada shoes during Milan Fashion Week, that I did not focus on the wonderful bags.
Thankfully this campaign shows off those bags in this vivid campaign.
These coveted bags will no doubt be carried by many celebrities (and me) this spring.

My favourite is the bag above in pink, lavender, red and navy, but to be honest I would take any of the above.

What I find very spooky about these ads is that there appears to be two models, when it is only one.
Great photoshopping.

We had the teaser yesterday, today we see her face in Victoria Beckham’s Spring 2008 advertising campaign for
Marc Jacobs.
In the Juergen Teller photos which will appear in fashion books over the next few months, Beckham is popping her head out of the shopping bag, stepping out of a gift box, or simply posing with her best signature pout.
“The images are humorous and ironic,” Beckham said. “You can’t be afraid to experiment with fashion, especially when working with Marc and Juergen — you have to push the envelope and show a different side.â€
“Marc is a genius,” she added. “I completely trusted his vision and the opportunity to work with Juergen again after so many years was a privilege.”
When asked to pick a favorite image from the campaign Victoria said:
“Truth be told, I love them all. If I have to pick favorites, it’s the package series: me coming out of the box in the gray knit dress shot with the hat, as well as the image of the oversize shopping bag. Certainly, if you can’t get locked inside a Marc Jacobs store, then trapped inside a Marc bag has got to be the next best thing.”
There are many more images on their way, in February issues of Vogue and Interview.

Yes this is Victoria Beckham posing (if you can call it that) for
Marc Jacobs’ Spring 2008 advertising campaign. This is one of three or five of the campaign, title “
Posh In A Bag“.
Victoria is wearing those famous back to front shoes that had her confused at New York Fashion Week.
From this photos I guess she took being the Worst Dressed Woman In 2007 to heart.
Poor girl.
Great sense of humour.

This is the third set of images from the Versace Spring 2008 campaign featuring Gisele Bündchen.
As with the other two there is a colour theme and the accessories have their own single page spread.
In this particular ad we get to see a handbag and shoes versus just the shoes in the previous ads.

As usual Gisele trumps the model on the runway. Gisele just makes these clothes even sexier than Dontella intended.

In
Burberry’s new Spring 2008 ad they have a host of new talent, plus Agyness Dean who has fronted the campaign for the third year in a row.
Others in the ad include Coco Sumner, who is Sting’s daugther, and Merlin Ferry, the son of Bryan Ferry.
Above, model Lily Donaldson is holding the new must have bag, the Burberry Warrior, which will be available to purchase for £1,595. (whatever happened to bags under £1,000?)

This campaign is a huge departure from
Burberry’s previous ads, which were always in
black and white.
I do love the energy of this campaign. It seems like they had a lot of fun shooting this campaign with photographer, Mario Testino.
