Riley Keough In Valentino – ‘Foxcatcher’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere

Riley Keough In Valentino - 'Foxcatcher' Cannes Film Festival Premiere

Riley Keough attended the ‘Foxcatcher’ premiere during the 67th Annual Cannes Film Festival this evening (May 19) in Cannes, France.

The actress opted out of wearing a gown, selecting a Valentino Fall 2014 look instead.

Her look consisted of an unbuttoned white blouse paired with a high-waisted skirt featuring the metallic jacquard floral and butterfly print we’ve seen on Shailene Woodley and Blake Lively.

While gowns are considered a prerequisite before stepping onto a red carpet at Cannes, I have to say I like this – I like it a lot.

Riley was never going to play by the rules, as she always marches to the beat of her own drum stylewise.

It didn’t hurt to inject a bit of cool and a touch of attitude into proceedings, especially when the look was so well styled with embellished Miu Miu pumps and dual-colour green and lavender de Grisogono earrings.

I love the skirt and shoes and the earrings are cool but I’m not a fan of the blouse or the makeup.

I really like it. Very nice.

I like this! I don’t mind if someone doesn’t wear a gown at Cannes as long as the outfit is glamorous enough.

    Her earrings to die for!
I never thought this look was valentino, felt like a prada creation, she carries this so well with an edge, she brought it to life! AMAZING!

I love her look, apart from the shoes, she looks great, BUT I’m sorry this is not a Cannes premiere look. It’s lovely but not very premiere appropriate. Maybe it’s the shirt, if she had worn sth else, sth more formal it would be better

I appreciate the concept (it looks like she’s trying to channel Sharon Stone at the Oscars) but it feels like she’s trying too hard, and the look is also quite aging.

I like this look but I don’t love it for Cannes carpet maybe a suit in the pattern would have been dressier.

I agree with FC, I am surprised I like this look.

I didn’t like her ‘I’m so cool’ MET Gala look, but this is a good balance between ‘I’m too cool and artsy for a gown (*Sofia Coppola cough cough*) and luxury.

I just wish she didn’t have the same haircolor as BFF KStew.

I love this look. Even though this isn’t a gown she still glammed this up and I like the styling.

I’m not sold on the pumps, but ankles-up she looks fierce!

It is casual but so chic. I am obsessed over this look.

Very pretty. Gorgeous hair and great jewels.

    She looks sensational!

Her earrings are by “de GRISOGONO”, her pumps are Miu Miu, and interestingly enough, John Galliano’s boyfriend styled her. (+ Adriana Lima & Kendall Jenner)

I like this a lot too (and I’m a person who always wants to see gowns at Cannes premieres), mostly because of her well styling and her attitude. I think she looks great!
