Kate Bosworth for The Edit
Kate Bosworth is the latest cover star for Net-A-Porterâs digital magazine ‘The Edit’.
The great thing about the magazine is that if you would love to buy what the actress is wearing, you can shop it now or register your interest, instead of doing what I normally do with magazines, which is folding over the page with the intention of coming back to it, but then forgetting.
In Kate’s editorial, which was shot by Koray Birand, she wears new-season pieces from Lanvin, Miu Miu, Roksanda Ilincic, Dolce & Gabbana, Victoria Beckham, Gucci and Fendi.
Kate talks about life, love and her impending nuptials to movie director Michael Polish.
Here are some extracts from her interview. You can read the whole interview at ‘The Edit’.
On her fianceÌ Michael Polish: âThere are so many things that just clicked for us. Itâs like, what didnât draw us together? It feels as if we have known each other our whole lives, even though he is 12 years older than me. But it feels like heâs been there every step of the way. And he is a great mentor to me, artistically.â
On her wedding dress: âThere was no doubt about the designer, [but] there was a feeling of, âDo I dance around the bridal thing and wear a dress I could wear for the red carpet?â But lately Iâm all about coming out of my comfort zone and challenging myself, so I decided to embrace the moment. It has been a real discovery of that part of myself. I have never thought about it â the dress, the ring, any of it.â
On past relationships: âWeâve all experienced things that have brought us to where we need to be. I donât have any doubts that the person Iâm with is my life partner. Everything else Iâve experienced, itâs a part of my past. And thatâs where itâs going to stay. Everybodyâs moved on. I want to respect their privacy, and mine.â
