Heidi Klum In Roland Mouret – 8th Annual ‘Made In NY Awards’

Heidi Klum In Roland Mouret - 8th Annual 'Made In NY Awards'

Heidi Klum attended the 8th Annual ‘Made In NY Awards’ at Gracie Mansion in New York City on Monday evening looking like a different woman – a women dressed right for her age.

Proving, mostly to herself, that you can look sexy in a dress that doesn’t scream tacky, the model/TV host wore a Roland Mouret Fall 2013 dress.

The knee-length, v-neck, colour-block frock with three different-coloured animal-print panels on the skirt was styled with black Louboutin pumps, antique silver Lorraine Schwartz jewels and a simple ponytail.

Much improved, or does Heidi still not win you over with this look?

One of the best looks of Heidi ever! Probably too revealing but it s the first time I see her showing some class!

Totally agree !! Also in a dress which doesn’t look dated!!

This is a great look except for the plunging neckline. She persists in doing this despite not being as perky as she once was. Here the neckline has a flattening effect. She needs to emphasise the classy more than the sexy as she has a tendency to look tacky.

      +1

  3. Yeliz June 11, 2013 at 12:38 #

Improved, but I don’t like the plunging neckline.

  4. Lee Ann June 11, 2013 at 12:53 #

This is the best she ever looked.

Probably the first time in months (even years) I totally love a Heidi Klum look. It was about time!

  6. TeaAtTwo June 11, 2013 at 13:31 #

I don’t really care for the dress but for once I’m not embarrassed for her.

  7. Christine June 11, 2013 at 14:08 #

One of her better looks for sure but this dress looks boxy.

  8. yumey June 11, 2013 at 14:28 #

One of her BEST looks so far, she looks sexy n beautiful

  9. kane June 11, 2013 at 15:07 #

By her standards, this is less tacky indeed.

  10. Barbs June 11, 2013 at 15:09 #

It’s one of the few times since the divorce that she looks classy. I like the dress and the styling.

  11. Moxie June 11, 2013 at 15:20 #

Best she’s looked in a long time.

  12. MaddyEliza June 11, 2013 at 16:01 #

I don’t love it, but it’s definitely much improved and more sophisticated. I wish she would dress this age-appropriate all the time!

Not quite there yet but major improvement.

Much less dated that her usual looks although her make up here appears just that- dated. Ease off on the powder for a natural glow and that wouldve made a whole lot of difference.

I’m impressed! I find the dress kinda meh, but it looks good Heidi, it’s flattering and sexy, without showing too much skin. I don’t even mind the boring pumps.

  17. Nat June 11, 2013 at 20:00 #

Love it. She finally look age appropriate.

  18. Dhppy June 11, 2013 at 20:07 #

Not my favorite Roland Mouret, but Heidi is finally getting the “sexy need not be tacky” message. I also like the neckline.

  19. Jai June 11, 2013 at 20:25 #

Wow, she looks really good. I’m in shock.

  20. Nadine June 11, 2013 at 22:16 #

I can’t say I like the dress, but for once I’m not wondering what her children think about it!

  21. Cass June 12, 2013 at 01:06 #

    That’s a win!

  22. KatieKate June 12, 2013 at 01:13 #

Finally, I think Heidi deserves an A, or maybe a B+, no no I def give her an A, and I’m esp glad she chose to forgo that awkward neckthingy the model has on.

  23. Kim June 12, 2013 at 05:42 #

its refreshing to see her in something other than sequins!

  24. Elaine2 June 12, 2013 at 15:55 #

Heidi always looks as if she’s trying too hard. The neckline ruins this dress on her because she seems obsessed with always ALWAYS showing her cleavage. For someone who once worked for Victoria’s Secret, I guess she missed out on the appropriate undergarments to support her bustline.

  25. Prudence June 13, 2013 at 17:34 #

woooo, girl us finallly becoming a lady….well almost. She is covering more and more skin with each look so gotta give the girl props!

  26. EmmaWoodhouse June 14, 2013 at 16:30 #

    I wish it wasn’t a plunge-neck. If it were a modest v-neck I’d finally give her a thumbs up.
