Sonam Kapoor In Shehla Khan – Trophée Chopard

Sonam Kapoor In Shehla Khan - Trophée Chopard

After giving us 50s glamour in her Dolce & Gabbana gown for the ‘Jeune & Jolie’ Cannes Film Festival premiere yesterday evening, which Messrs Dolce and Gabbana said “emphasised her unique beauty”, Sonam Kapoor selected a more traditional look for the Trophee Chopard party yesterday evening.

This time the Indian actress wore a jaw-dropping Shehla Khan dove-grey creation with black lace and a sheer cape.

She incorporated the hosts’ spectacular jewels by wearing a breathtaking Chopard necklace dripping with sparkling diamonds under the cape.

The clutch feels so out of place that I wish it was in another room altogether; however, her hair and makeup are flawless.

Stunning. The clutch is awful with the dress. The necklace isn’t needed, but since this was a Chopard event, it makes sense.

Not blown away by this look; but she does look lovely. Couldnt agree with u more on the clutch. FC, no feature on Sonam in Elie Saab?

Absolutely stunning except for the out-of-place clutch. The gown is beautiful and her hair and makeup are flawless.

      Agree.

I think the dress is too elaborate for an event where the jewelry is supposed to be the focus. And it is too boudoir for me.

I don’t dig this look too much. The top of the ‘choli’ does not fit well, and it somehow overall looks a bit tacky. But her hair and make-up are great.

I give the dress itself the benefit of the doubt, not sure how I feel about it, but it makes the indeed stunning necklace look out of place, which kinda misses the point of the occasion.

So high fashion and chic. She looks pretty and all but the clutch is a misfit.

Really hate this lehenga, it’s very tacky. Her hair and make up is flawless. Neck up the look is great but this is a disappointing look overall. The only thing jaw dropping about this look is how garish it is.

She is dressed like an old lady. I hate it.

    I love this girl!!

Can’t help but love it (minus the out-of-place clutch), exotic and enchanting.

The clutch and the necklace don’t belong here.
The dress is lovely, she should have burned the clutch and changed the necklace for some stunning bracelet.

Not liking this. Love her makeup though.

The necklace was unnecessary and the clutch was a poor choice. The dress itself has me divided–I like the interesting shape but the sheer midsection is tacky imo…it’s just not working for me. Love the embellishment, though.

Love the look! Clutch is an eyesore and not a big fan of the choli. The hair and makeup are beautiful!

Her dress is absolutely beautiful. The necklace was a bad choice though, as was the clutch. I wish she changed out the necklace for some earrings/bracelets/rings. Her hair and makeup is lovely!

there was absolutely no need for that clutch and necklace. If you have to wear such an elaborate piece of jewelry than make sure it is not competing with an equally elaborate ensemble. Sonam has really let me down so far.

All she had to do was to leave out that dupatta at home along with the clutch..that would have made the look much more elegant and the serve the purpose of highlighting the necklace !
