Kasia Smutniak In Alberta Ferretti – ‘In Treatment’ Rome Premiere

Kasia Smutniak In Alberta Ferretti - 'In Treatment' Rome Premiere

I almost didn’t recognise Kasia Smutniak on the red carpet at the Teatro Capranica where she attended the ‘In Treatment’ Rome premiere in Italy yesterday evening.

That’s mostly because she wasn’t wearing Valentino.

On this occasion, she wore an Alberta Ferretti Fall 2013 dress, our first look at this collection on the red carpet.

While this black-and-white lace dress isn’t to my personal taste, I find something quite appealing about the simplicity of the look.

She looks so serene and beautiful that, if anything, she enhances the gown, when we expect the opposite.

A selection of rings, a pale-pink lip colour and a centre-parted bun completed her look.

Chic minimalism or plain boring?

I’m a fan of her red carpet style since she wowed me with her flawless Valentino Photocall look at the Venice Film Festival last year. I say chic minimalism for this look since she looks so beautiful here. I love the simplicity of it. In fact, I think that this is BDOTW worthy.

A big statement ring instead of that random selection of rings would’ve made this a perfect, BDOTW worthy look. Nevertheless, I still love it. She looks gorgeous.

Her styling is a bit underwhelming imo. I agree with you that with a statement jewellery piece, like one oversized ring instead of a bunch of small ones (or earrings with the hair in a less matronly ‘do), this would’ve worked better.

Kasia is very Keira Knightley-esque to me. This is a very elegant and unusual look. I like it.

I’m actually quite obsessed with it. I love this look. So chic, elegant, modern, simply STUNNING.
