Taylor Swift took home just one (‘Favourite Country Artist’) of the three awards she was up for last night at the 2013 People’s Choice Awards held at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in California.
The country singer looked super chic in a show-stopping Ralph Lauren gown.
It may be quite simple, but the cap-sleeve gown with flowing skirt featured a daring plunging neckline.
Finishing touches included a braided updo, beautiful ice-blue Sutra drop earrings making her blue eyes pop, Christian Louboutin ‘Corpus’ d’Orsay sandals and soft neutral makeup including soft smoky eyes and a nude lip.
Do you love this look as much as I do?

I love this look as much as you do, FC. Especially with those gorgeous earrings.
Yupp, me too! Lovee those earings too.
PS: I just feel like I have seen a similar drop earings in the same color before in this site..Aaah but can’t remember!
You may be thinking of Blake Lively in this look: http://www.redcarpet-fashionawards.com/2012/06/28/blake-lively-in-gucci-savages-new-york-premiere/
I agree, those earrings make this look.
The earrings definitely made the look.
Yes! She’s evolved so much! She looks like a grown-up woman working that red carpet!
Yes! Love it! I think she’s looking more confident with a bit of attitude coming through which I haven’t noticed before. She has a dream figure and the height but always seemed a little awkward before.
Yes I do! The minimalism and daring keep it People’s Choice appropriate while remaining chic. Love the earrings, hair and nude lip. Glad her fashion vernacular is expanding.

She looks absolutely amazing!

I’m not sure if this is inappropriate but i’m quite happy she is showing subtle cleavage. She actually looks like a grown women and not a little girl, which is sometimes what i think about her style. Very chic.
I thought it was inappropriate until I remembered that she is 23! For some reason she just feels younger but I like the grown up direction
yes!I love this look very much!
The gown is beautiful but Taylor’s eye makeup is killing me. I don’t like it at all.
Does anyone know where I can get Taylor’s blue earrings or similar ones from? I WANT THEM SO MUCH!
she looks stunning! love it.
Absolutely love it! The earrings really make this look.
LOVE! LOVE!
Like a breath of fresh air. Wow, this is the reason I love Ralph Lauren. BDOTW worthy.

I do love it for itself, but am getting slightly bored by “Taylor Swift in white.”
At least she dropped the red lipstick once!
She’s undoubtedly beatuiful, but I can’t help comparing her to one of her friend’s similiar outfit from last year.
For me, Emma Stone is the winner.
Harry Styles, see what u r missing!! Despite Haylor split, Taylor Swift looks every bit the ice cool queen in this Ralph Lauren ivory plunging gown!! The simplicity is the key and the gorgeous pair of turquoise earrings adds enough glamour to the understated look!! BDOTW contender, Taylor Swift!! Taylor Swift totally kills on the red carpet!!
She looks breath-taking. A simple, stunning dress with just the right baring of cleavage & amazing earrings. I always appreciate when she pulls back all of her bangs.
The gown and earrings are gorgeous and sophisticated on her. But I am completely put off by her eye make-up, which i find very jarring, aging, and unflattering. She is beautiful and young, but the heavy overdone eyes obscure this just a bit. I do love that she is steering completely clear of the “red” costume look she has worked so often in the last year. I think Taylor is doing a great job at subtly shifting her image. Think about how shocking this look would have been two years ago when she was in full on unchanging sparkle and curly mane mode?
She looks drop dead gorgeous, i love her earrings as well!
I love it. 1000 times better than Katy Perry.
I was more that sick with her sweet pie dresses, but this one looks simply beautiful. Love the earings and the makeup too. Favorite look of the evening IMHO.
She nailed it. Love everything about this look.
OMG! Cleavage? ok I’m pretty certain that a space robot has taken the real Taylor’s place.
Anyway she looks grown up and nice, the earrings are everything
LOVE, BDOTW. she wowed me.
That makeup kills the look. Insanely unflattering.
This is ALMOST perfect for me. It’s just that darn plunging neckline which is WAY too revealing for my taste. If it was about six inches higher (a subtler v-neck) I would love it. I’m disappointed, because everything else about the look is wonderful to me…especially the hair, makeup and earrings. I was getting pretty tired of her bangs so the hairstyle is particularly great.
the whole look is so perfect, definitely BDOTW.
Gold star to anyone who can help direct me on where to buy this dress… I want it as my wedding dress (with a lace insert) like NOW!!!
your best bet is to contact Ralph Lauren
Perfect.
She looks PERFECT!
BDOTW for sure and maybe the first BDOTY of 2013!
Beautiful gown, the styling is divine, LOVE !!! I believe this is the winner.
I love it! This is the most minimalist look we’ve ever seen from Taylor. It has such a simple elegance to it. Her earrings are amazing, and the makeup is flawless. She manages to look dramatic and sophisticated at the same time, proving that you don’t need embellishments, sequins or loud prints to stand out.
It’s gorgeous. LIke Blake Lively in her yellow gucci that made my 10 best of last year, there’s something about the mix of drop bright turquoise earrings and a deep v, in a long flowing gown that’s a winner.
The creases on the dress and the lack of smiles bring the look down for me. Not to mention the heavy eye makeup along with the weird designed eyebrows make her face look creepy.
Really really beautiful! I love so much about Taylor in this dress. Ralph Lauren knows how to make a gorgeous dress. When someone says, “fits like a glove” this is what they mean. Perfection!!! Taylor is so sophisticated, elegant, classy and of course sexy! I love that she is a girl (woman) who loves to dress up. Oh, and the earrings are so lovely too. BDOTW!
No to the eye makeup (hell no even) but yes to everything else.
sexy, chic, gorgeous. this is probably the most grown-up i’ve ever seen taylor.. she looks fantastic. BDOTW!
I’m pretty sure she got a boob job.
The dress is beautiful, she looks polished but there’s something that I don’t fully like. I don’t know if it has to do something with her hair or makeup.
I heard those rumors too. All I know is the cleavage is distracting for me because it doesn’t look even.
I hate the eye makeup. WAY too dark
Yup, she’s gorgeous and checks all the right fashion boxes in this ensemble but I could never warm to her. Something about her eyes seem cold and glassy.
She was sad. Harry Styles broke up with her a few days ago…
LOVE! BDOTW contender! A daring choice after her latest break up. Style with a vengeance! Anyway, great flawless makeup, hair, simple but eye popping accessories, and hair is playful yet elegant.
I think she wears earrings by Badgley Mischka that Lily Van Der Woodsen wore on Gossip Girl.

She looks amazing! Love the dress!
too much dejavu!
I like the dress, but I agree the makeup is not quite there. I also think there is something a bit offputting about the cleavage – makes her boobs look fake. Something a bit softer and subtler would have been better.
i feel like her makeup should have been more mauvey than orangey ((the eyes))
