Kerry Washington In Prada – ‘Django Unchained’ Rome Premiere

Kerry Washington In Prada - 'Django Unchained' Rome Premiere

Kerry Washington strolled down the red carpet on Friday evening for the ‘Django Unchained’ Rome premiere held at the Cinema Adriano in Italy.

She looked stunning wearing a white Prada Spring 2013 short-sleeve dress styled with a bright-green Prada clutch.

The look is gorgeous, taking her style in another direction for the evening festivities after turning heads earlier that day in a sassy Peter Pilotto Spring 2013 dress.

At first it may appear to be more conservative, but the cut-out details and bright-green accent are a nod to her previous daring look.

Keeping the same sleek locks, she added a bright red lip colour and beige Jimmy Choo pumps to provide the finishing touches.

I hated her previous look. This is so much better. Still not wowed yet. Hopefully her next promo look I will love.

Leaps better than the over-worked design of the Pilotto. I wasn’t sure about the length at first, but it especially works from the back. The apple green POC clutch is FAB.

I don’t like the cutouts, which are conversely the only thing making this look interesting. The shoes are dull. I do like the clutch and her flawless hair and makeup.

I love this simple, but gorgeous look.

Actually, i don’t think the length works, at least not with the shape of the skirt. she’s got a tent going on on the bottom.

Stunning but I don;t like the length of the dress.

I’m enjoying watching Kerry showing her style versatility. I liked the bold Pilotto dress though I wish she’d worn different shoes and her hair in a bun. Here I like the almost minimalist vibe she’s got going on.

don’t like this. the front looks dated

I want this dress to end either right below her knee (and be a tad narrower in the skirt) or at the floor. She looks spectacular except for the length.

On another note, FC, I love the Tucker jumpsuit to the right, but I am wondering who you see wearing it? Tough to pull off, I think.

    • Rebecca Z January 7, 2013 at 16:20 #

      Other than you, of course.

      me…LOL :D

Love it! Super sexy without hitting you in the face with it. BDOTW worthy for sure!

I thought the hem length looked awkward, then I remembered, it’s Prada. So, a little awkwardness is par for the course.

    Gorgeous from head-to-toe :D

the hair I’m sure I’m in love with. The rest I dunno. There are definitely aspects I like a lot.

The shape of the dress bothers me a bit. It should either be a little shorter (mid-calf) or longer (floor-length). Gorgeous h&m, but uninspiring shoes.
