Lady Gaga was honoured for her work promoting peace by John Lennon’s widow Yoko Ono at a ceremony in Iceland yesterday – on what would have been the late Beatle’s 72nd birthday.
The singer collected her ‘LennonOno Peace Prize’, a glass trophy in the shape of a puzzle piece, wearing her second Saint Laurent Spring 2013 look in a row.
She teamed a cream maxi dress with a ruffled neckline with a silver embellished trim black tuxedo blazer.
Accessorizing the same black hat, she of course completed the look with sky-high boots.
With just two looks in two days, Gaga has pretty much summed up this collection, which was tuxedo jacket, sequin jacket, maxi dresses, pussy bow ties, sheer skirt and wide brim hat.
I think I can safely say I’m done with this collection.

i think i would rather see her look ridiculous in mcqueen than this boring a$$ collection.
Me too.
This would’ve looked great on Florence Welch.
But who’s that Obi-Wan Kenobi next to her?
That’s Jón Gnarr, the mayor of Reykjavík
really?? awesome mayor!!
He’s an awesome mayor indeed. He always dresses up in drag every year for Gay Pride
Boring. It’s like seeing Rachel Zoe only blonder and shorter.
+1
correct me: browner
I am done with this collection and Gaga.
Amen! what a mess!!
I love this. The Obi-Wan Kenobi with Lady Gaga is actually the Mayor of Reykjavik, comedian Jon Gnarr.
I read lots of negative opinions about this collection. I don’t find it ugly, but there’s nothing new. Why are you done with it, FC?
because like I said, I’ve seen all there is to see.
After this nothing will be new.
Completely agree with you FC, the collection was so one-sided and hardly ground-breaking, these two (forgettable) looks pretty much sum it up..
Hedi Slimane has been hanging out with Rachel Zoe and Lindsay Lohan too much in LA.
He did? Really? This explains many things. With due respect… LA is not the right place to get inspired to design for a french brand. There is nothing new in this collection.
I find this blah. I don’t hate the colelction, but ti is repetitive, but then again I think that it is a clear way to establish himself at Saint Laurent.
Also, I found it funny that you say that you are done with the collection because I feel the same with the last 3 years of Valentino: sheer, lace, florals, pussy bow, lace, squared shoulders, baloon sleeves, capped sleeves, strapless, cinched waist, bows, studs.
+2! Valentino & even MC qUEEN are really yawn-inducing lately. Most of these designers are getting stale in their designs so… . I personally would love to own (almost) every piece of Saint Laurent, the collection is so wearable!
I agree about Valentino.
My first thought was, “Obi-Wan Kenobi approves this color”. I guess that’s the only good thing about this look from a spring collection that contained one too many pieces of black clothing. Everything else induced nothing but a snore-fest out of me.
Like others, I am done with this collection.
Gaga and Hedi Slimane are actually friends. When he was a photographer, he actually photographed the album cover for the Fame Monster CD. Gaga is wearing this collection to support someone who she has collaborated in the past and past a back-handed insult to Cathy Heron.
I do agree with most of the comments above, she looks nice but a very forgettable and boring collection. Next.
Bwhaah love me some Jon Gnarr, he looks great in his Jedi gear. The Lady looked lovely at the ceremony and her speech was wonderful and ispiring.
How ironic, Gaga proved Cathy’s point in the two times she wore (Y)SL. This collection was so uninspiring and drab, but most of all there was no YSL here. Not only is Slimane acting like a brat, but he has nothing to back up on it. Come back, Stefano.
It could be worse! At least she is covered up and we can’t see those ridiculous shoes.
She’s better off with her own womens fashion. Anyways, not too bad.
To the point CK!
If this drudgery continues next season I think PPR should hire Olivier Theyskens to shake up the house of YSL.
I actually adored this dress on the runway–so elegant. I think I like it better in black and without her costumey styling. Plus Obi Wan next to her…little weird…
