Best Dressed Of The Week, Blog
Eugenia Silva. I don’t see any serious competition to her look.
What a bad week!
We don’t get many gowns and glamour lately, so as soon as I saw Eugenia Silva in Maria Lucia Hohan gown looking gorgeous,I went for it.
I thought Olga Kurylenko’s looked great in Peter Pilotto. But, apparently wearing velvet in the summer is an unforgivable crime. One that, despite how beautiful she and the dress were, removes you from consideration for BDOTW.
I thought it was a pretty decent week. For me, it’s a three way tie between Mena, Emmy and Jaime with Lesie and Ariel in a close second.
I went with Mena overall because she just looks so pitch-perfect for her event and an interesting shoe choice.
Have a good weekend, FC. Love this site. I seriously visit this site multiple times a day so it’s a huge part of my week. I was barely interested in fashion before i came here a couple of years ago, but that all changed. Plus, your (sometimes) disappointment with black pumps has totally rubbed off on me. haha.
That is a really nice thing to say. Thank u x
Have a nice weekend x
Totally enjoying all of these looks — so colorful, so seasonal, so chic, with nary a black pump among them. Emmy Rossum ftw. Beautiful.
My thoughts exactly! Its not really a strong week but the colors and the chicness put a smile on my face
Emmy Rossum in Monique Lhuillier. My runner up is Eugenia Silva.
Btw, I’m lusting over that Michael van der Ham dress, pictured exactly on the right side. It is simply stunning.
Have a nice weekend, FC!
thanks x you too xx
Love the assortment of bright, pretty dresses, all the girls look so fresh and summery.
It’s a nice change from all the glamorous gowns.
Eugenia Silva gets my vote for the sheer elegance and beauty of her look. Also, I adore that shade of green!
Of the others, I especially like Ariel Winter and Emmy Rossum. Their dresses are so figure-flattering and from head to toe they look so bright, fresh, and summery.
Emmy Rossum got my vote. She looks beautiful and flawless.
Eugenia Silva in Maria Lucia Hohan.
Wow very sugary sweet and girly looks this week. I like most of them but only LOVE Emmy Rossum’s look. She’s my winner this week.
Another meh week, so there’s really no competition -Eugenia Silva all the way. She looked so stunning!

Eugenia Silva all the way.
christa b allen in armani was the best this week by a long shot but she isn’t here!!
i just noticed that even the email notifications i get every time someone replies to this thread are being flagged as suspicious
Thought Kerry was the stand out
SO many worthy contenders!!!!!!! I voted for Eugenia because I love a gown, but she ties with Emmy–and Mena–and Jordana, Ariel, and Jaime are runners-up! Thanks for an awesome week, FC!
pleasure…lets hope next week is even better
Love Mena’s outfit.
Really really beautiful.
Hi FC! When I check out your archives, AVG alerts me that it’s a threat and I can’t browse on your site no more. Can you explain why? I really love reading your blog and even the past posts and I can’t seem to read it. Here’s a link of my screen so you can see.
Thanks for letting me know. I am getting this looked into now.
