Who Wore Three Floor Better? Eleanor Tomlinson or Donna Air?

Us Brits have been enjoying the warmest June in over 40 years, so it’s no wonder that both Eleanor Tomlinson and Donna Air opted to wear this light-weight, breezy Three Floor lace dress – on the same dress.

Eleanor styled hers with the obligatory hat while attending Ascot, while Donna took a less formal approach for the V&A Summer party.
This obviously comes down to the accessories, and Donna is the clear winner for me.

Eleanor could’ve snagged the win had it not been for her clutch which not only doesn’t compliment her look, but also looks like she’s carrying a stone.

V&A Summer Party

A whole host of stars attended the V&A summer party on Wednesday (June 21) in London,

Princess Beatrice of York: Deciding to go darker than most in attendance, Princess Beatrice opted for a Self-Portrait ruffled guipure lace midi dress. The tiered sheer dress may have been the perfect antidote to the heat but her Jimmy Choo pumps really weighed down the look.

Sai Bennett: This Temperley London Fall 2017 dress was utterly appropriate for the event, I especially love the front slit and gorgeous floral print which feels particularly summery. Some simple gold accessories and brown wedges tied this look together perfectly.

Donna Air: This lightweight Three Floor tiered lace dress looked incredibly feminine and pretty. The high-neck ruffles worked well with Donna’s swept back hair and round frame sunglasses. The silhouette is also incredibly flattering, with just the right amount of breathable cut-outs.

Teen Choice Awards Red Carpet Roundup

Teen Choice Awards Roundup

More pretty young things took to the red carpet for the 2015 Teen Choice Awards hosted at the USC Galen Center on Sunday (August 16) in Los Angeles, California.

Shay Mitchell: The actress skipped the young and fun memo and instead channeled her inner glam-rock star in a Versus Versace scarf-print mini dress. Metallic Giuseppe Zanotti sandals reflected the gold accent buttons and belting while a sleek ‘do imparted a modern vibe.

Bella Thorne: In this Balmain coral-embroidered, corset-inspired frock, Bella took the mini to even more mini levels. She maneuvered it well despite the high potential for wardrobe malfunction between the top and the bottom. A Lee Savage gold clutch and Stuart Weitzman ‘Xchain’ sandals finished the statement.

Maia Mitchell: I loved the fresh youthfulness of the Aussie starlet’s breezy Giamba Spring 2015 white embroidered top and shorts, especially with the unique cape-like silhouette of the top that added another layer of visual interest. A long braid only added to the effortlessly cool vibe.

2015 iHeartRadio Music Awards Red Carpet Roundup

2015 iHeartRadio Music Awards Red Carpet Roundup

The 2015 iHeartRadio Music Awards brought even more lovelies to the red carpet at The Shrine Auditorium on Sunday (March 29) in Los Angeles, California.

Iggy Azalea: After impressing at the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards, the Aussie rapper continued her chic streak in a Fausto Puglisi ensemble before taking to the stage to perform ‘Trouble’ with Jennifer Hudson. A funky, hip-hop edge was certainly presented and accounted for in this long-sleeve mesh shirt, black vest, and loud-and-proud, embellished animal-print leggings, which I actually found myself quite liking for the occasion. But it was her bouncy blonde ringlets and pink-glossed lip that completely sold the look to me. Do you agree?

Shannon Bex and Aubrey O’Day
: Taking ‘twinning’ to another level, the dumblonde songstresses have traded platinum-blonde locks for ombre gray waves in rather tongue-in-cheek fashion. Almost a perfect mirror reflection of each other, they put a sexed-up spin on their mannish black suits with cleavage-baring plunge necklines, styling the looks with striking silver stilettos and gold pendant necklaces along with super-smoky eyes and a pale nude lip.

‘The Walking Dead’ Season 5 LA Premiere

'The Walking Dead' Season 5 LA Premiere

Alanna Masterson, Danai Gurira, Lauren Cohan, Emily Kinney and Sonequa Martin-Green attended the Season 5 premiere of ‘The Walking Dead’ held at AMC Universal City Walk on Thursday (October 2) in Universal City, California.

Alanna Masterson: The actress was the most colourful of the bunch, selecting a Chris by Christopher Bu printed frock. She also opted for printed ankle booties, when a solid pair of orange, yellow or lavender heels would’ve worked perfectly.

Danai Gurira: Also opting for colour and flare, Danai wore a Christian Siriano Resort 2015 striped frock emboldened with a structural skirt. Unlike Alanna, she played it right with the solid accessories including a bronze Rauwolf clutch, berry peep-toes and H.Stern jewels.

2014 Young Hollywood Awards

2014 Young Hollywood Awards

There was a host of other young stars who joined Chloe Moretz on the red carpet for the 2014 Young Hollywood Awards held at The Wiltern on Sunday (July 27) in Los Angeles, California.

Belle Thorne: The Disney star opted for a head-to-toe all-pink look, wearing a ’60s-style mini dress accented with emerald crystals which she styled with platform pumps that also had a crystal accent to the heel. The only thing not blinging here was her Edie Parker clutch.

Vanessa Marano: The young star, who hosted the show, shunned the expected cutesy dress in favour of something more tailored, wearing a Skaist Taylor suit featuring a pink blazer with black peaked lapels. It takes a lot of great styling and finesse to pull off this look and to prevent it from coming off too mature, especially for someone so young. So going sans top and adding sexy Oscar Tiye sandals ensured this look was kept youthful.

Ashley Tisdale: The actress worked an all-silver look, donning a tulip-hem halter V Label London dress with metallic Casadei sandals and a matching clutch. Ashley’s style can often be très predictable, but the style of dress here, especially the length, is a refreshing change, edging her in a more grown-up direction.
