2019 AFI Awards Red Carpet Roundup

Fashion Blogger Catherine Kallon Features 2019 AFI Awards Red Carpet Roundup

The 2019 AFI Awards was a packed house with several more ladies taking to the red carpet this afternoon (January 4), to receive their accolades.

Elsie Fisher: This young lady never fails to put a smile on my face. Yet to don a dress on the red carpet this calendar year, I’m wondering if that will change for the Globes on Sunday. Her signature trousered style was looking very bright in this M Missoni Resort 2019 outfit, which was of course styled with her other signature: a Kate Spade New York bag.

Emma Stone: While I was tempted to say, “thank you, next”, to this Louis Vuitton Spring 2019 look, when I paused to take a moment, this look isn’t actually so bad. What lets it down are the black slingbacks. I wish she’s opted for the ‘Overnight Cross’ sandals, but thankful she didn’t go for the LV Archlight boots.

Keri Russell: Dressed in Dior, I found myself a little underwhelmed by this offering. Usually I’m mesmerized by Keri on the red carpet, but I’m not getting any goosebumps today.

AnnaSophia Robb In Lorod – Build Series

AnnaSophia Robb In Lorod - Build Series

AnnaSophia Robb paid a visit to Build Studios to discuss her new film ‘Down a Dark Hall’ on Thursday (August 16) in New York City.

The actress is the latest to don a look from the emerging brand: Lorod.

I adore the colouring of this Pre-Fall 2018 look which complements her hair colour.

Known for creating modular, modern interpretations of American classics, I would say this look hits the mark.

The mix of prim top and utilitarian trousers may not work for everyone, but I found the look really refreshing for AnnaSophia.

Chloe Grace Moretz In Bella Freud, Christopher Kane, Lorod & Simone Rocha - 'The Miseducation Of Cameron Post' Promo Tour

It’s been a hectic week for Chloe Grace Moretz as she continues to promote her new film, ‘The Miseducation Of Cameron Post’ in New York City.

SiriusXM Studios: On Monday (July 30), Chloe kept things simple and colourful wearing Bella Freud. A ruffled shirt will give any ensemble a polished finish, but when paired with this flame red flared skirt it gives the look just the right retro touch.  Jimmy Choo’s white ‘Minny’ sandals completed the look.

Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen: Later that same day, Chloe was like a new woman wearing a Christopher Kane tailored jacket from the Pre-Fall 2018 collection. I love how a swing of rhinestone fringe takes this classical silhouette into rock-star glamour territory. The question is, did Chloe sell the look to you? With the Studio 54-esqe makeup, she absolutely did. Nicholas Kirkwood ‘Origami Bow’ pumps provided the finishing touch.
