Marvel Studios’ ‘Black Panther’ Global Junket Press Conference

After the world premiere, the stars of Marvel Studios’ ‘Black Panther’ continued the promo tour with a global junket press conference on Tuesday (January 30) in Beverly Hills, California.

Angela Bassett: Following her glowing fringe moment, the actress switched gears with this Dent de Man Spring 2016 suit from the label named for a mountain in West Africa’s Ivory Coast. This bit of relevance, combined with what was a bold translation of traditional menswear in an all-over batik print, made for such an impactful look.

Danai Gurira: I loved Danai’s world premiere entrance, and even though this Altuzarra Pre-Fall 2018 dress was far more subtle, it was lovely for a press conference. I like the slight fit-and-flare shape as well as the tonal bustier structure to add sophisticated allure to the design.

Lupita Nyong’o: Also offering up a patterned ensemble that took a completely different direction from her regal premiere gown, Lupita looked to the signature prints of designer Mary Katrantzou. The flirty silhouette of this Spring 2018 frock, with its shorter length and kick pleats, offered a sense of youthful exuberance—although it could also be called a bit twee, too. Did you miss the belt?

‘The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones’ Madrid Premiere Menswear Round Up

‘The Mortal Instruments City of Bones’ Madrid Premiere Menswear Round Up 2

With Kevin Zegers M.I.A. it was left to Robert Sheehan and Jamie Campbell Bower to escort Lily Collins down the red carpet yesterday evening at the Callao Cinema in Spain for ‘The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones’ Madrid premiere yesterday evening.

Robert Sheehan: Donning his second Dent de Man suit of this promo tour, he once again struck the right balance, wearing a plain-white shirt with his bold African-print suit. This would’ve given him a second BDOTW win had it not been for those flip flops. Flips flops do not make for appropriate red carpet attire. Even those who attend events on Santa Monica Beach don’t wear flip flops.

Jamie Campbell Bower: The unkempt grungy look is very much Jamie’s style. He makes it work for him once again, donning a pale-blue suit with biker boots and cool aviator shades to complete the bad-boy-with-charm look.

Robert Sheehan In Dent De Man - ‘The Mortal Instruments City of Bones’ LA Premiere

Robert Sheehan stood head-and-shoulders above everyone else when he took to the red carpet at the ArcLight Theatre in Hollywood for the ‘The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones’ LA premiere.

The Irish actor wore a paisley-printed suit from London-based designers Dent De Man, who are known for their classic menswear with a modern unique twist using mostly classic African fabrics.

The chocolate suit with a bold blue paisley print was styled with a white button-up shirt with a gold collar-chain accent and, following in the footsteps of many celebs, he opted for white wingtip Del Toro shoes with a blue platform.

His curly tresses just add to the overall allure of this look. Very Justin Timberlake – the ‘N Sync years.

You may remember that Labrinth was the first to bring this brand to the red carpet when he wore a Dent De Man suit to the 2013 Brit Awards.

Labrinth In Dent de Man - 2013 Brit Awards

As you know I love a printed colourful suit, so Labrinth caught my eye as he made his way down the red carpet at the O2 Arena for the 2013 Brit Awards last night.

He wore a Dent de Man dapper slim-fit suit.

I love the mix of traditional menswear tailoring with the soulful African print which reflects the musician’s personality.

A white buttoned up dress shirt, a black hat and Christian Louboutin ‘Fredapoitiers’ loafers with studded details completed her look.

Needless to say J’Adore.
