Models @ The Vanity Fair Oscar Party

Models stormed the 2018 Vanity Fair Oscar Party on Sunday (March 4) in Beverly Hills, California, with a range of head-turning looks—for better or worse.

Alessandra Ambrosio: The naked dress had another showing with this Ralph & Russo Couture embellished, sheer design, styled with Lorraine Schwartz jewels and Giuseppe Zanotti sandals. There will be no doubt her body isn’t rocking, but I know eyes will be rolling at the complete transparency of the look.

Ashley Graham: This Rubin Singer gown featured a recognizable, slit-to-there silhouette, but it was the gleaming sheen that upped the ante. A swept-back hairstyle and Sophia Webster sandals completed the look.

Lily Aldridge: The golden-goddess look served Lily well in this Versace liquid-gold gown that had a certain chainmail effect. Christian Louboutin heels and Bvlgari jewels and bag finished her glamorously regal entrance.

Kerry Washington In Alexandre Vauthier – 2018 Vanity Fair Oscar Party

Kerry Washington was ready to party at the 2018 Vanity Fair Oscar Party on Sunday (March 4) in Beverly Hills, California—that is, if her club-glam outfit was any indication.

The ‘Scandal’ star reinvented her look again in this edgy Alexandre Vauthier Spring 2018 leather number.

Taken alone, I think the extravagantly embellished, ruffled mini could have fared quite decently.

The thigh-high boots took it to the tipping point, but it was her pink earrings, coral lip, and curled updo that placed it firmly in a space of excess—with a retro, ’80s vibe to boot.

Just enough or too much?

Ciara In Alexandre Vauthier Couture – 2018 Vanity Fair Oscar Party

If you were waiting for someone to break away from the party dresses, you will hopefully be pleased with Ciara’s ensemble at the 2018 Vanity Fair Oscar Party on Sunday (March 4) in Beverly Hills.

The singer showcased her fashion credentials in an Alexandre Vauthier Spring 2018 Couture ensemble. The layered look mixed a black patent mini dress against the sweeping layers of a blue-green coat.

She is one to embrace fashion-forward looks, but this was still a delightful surprise. She carried off the style with aplomb, posing in such a way to show off every ruffle and drape.

Everything was carefully considered from the Brian Atwood shoes to the placement of her hands to the way the topper dipped off the shoulders, creating a bold finish.

Harper’s BAZAAR CDGA Celebration

Harper’s BAZAAR and the CDG celebrated the top costume designers and nominees of the 20th CDGA with an event on Saturday (February 17) in West Hollywood, California

Serayah McNeill: This highlighter-yellow Alexandre Vauthier fitted mini dress may not have been anything new, but it fit her to a T and the colour was a bright revelation—plus the drape at the front added more sultry appeal. Giuseppe Zanotti gold sandals rounded out her look.

Laura Marano: The beauty of this Tadashi Shoji Spring 2018 design was in its colouful floral embroidery, to which the sheer elements offered just an elegant hint at peek-a-boo allure. A Tadashi Shoji ‘Charlotte’ clutch completed the look.

Hong Chau: Personalized and progressive, Hong edged up her frothy baby-blue Adeam dress with an Adeam Spring 2018 metallic embossed jacket.

Monica Bellucci In Alexandre Vauthier Couture – 23rd Lumieres Awards Ceremony

Monica Bellucci joined Juliette Binoche for the 23th Lumieres Awards Ceremony on Monday (February 5) in Paris, France.

Considering ya’ll had a strong case of déjà vu when it came to her last red carpet appearance, many will see this Alexandre Vauthier Spring 2018 Couture red crystalized dress as a complete 180.

Not because of the colour, as Monica has often worn red, alongside her favoured black, navy and green; but the surprise comes from the Italian actress stepping outside her Dolce & Gabbana, Valentino comfort-zone, for something so unpredictable, different, new and modern.

Even her hairstyle had changed, with a lighter hue and shorter, sleek cut.

Was this a step in the right direction for Monica?

Personally, I’m loving Monica 2.0 (sans the shoes). That ruched detailing is doing wonders for her gorgeous figure.

Rihanna In Alexandre Vauthier Couture – 2018 Grammy Awards

Rihanna skipped the red carpet at the 2018 Grammy Awards on Sunday (January 28) at Madison Square Garden in New York City. But, that doesn’t mean she wasn’t dressed in striking form.

There would be no missing her as she took the stage to accept the Best Rap/Sung Performance award with Kendrick Lamar (in Saint Laurent).

Her Alexandre Vauthier statement was a remake of the chocolate patent-leather trench coat and boots that graced the Fall 2016 Couture runway.

Worn off-the-shoulder, it balanced sophistication and edge, with no gimmicky, try-hard appeal. Leave it to her to make a trench just as glam and statement-making as any gown.

I loved what appeared to be the richer, aubergine inspiration behind the colour palette of the shiny monochromatic look that also included the matching boots and Causse Gantier gloves.

Hailee Steinfeld In Alexandre Vauthier – 2018 Grammy Awards

After Hailee Steinfeld’s cool-girl pre-Grammys looks, I was excited to see what she would bring to the 2018 Grammy Awards red carpet on Sunday (January 28) in New York City.

And, she did not leave me disappointed.

I already loved the minimalistic ethos of this Alexandre Vauthier Spring 2018 pristine-white dress, which was striking for its sensibility—and sexy front slit.

But, it was the patent-ultraviolet Alexandre Vauthier boots that took this look into high-octane territory—and made it perfect for Grammys night.

I’m so glad she wore the ensemble as presented in the lookbook.

Bold, complementary teal eye shadow alongside a selection of MARLI, Mattia Cielo, Hearts On Fire, and Djula jewels completed the look.
