The Kardashian-Jenners – People’s Choice Awards 2018

The Kardashian-Jenners - People's Choice Awards 2018

E! First Family – Khloe Kardashian, Kendall Jenner, Kim Kardashian and Kourtney Kardashian – attended the 2018 People’s Choice Awards on Sunday (November 11), where they picked up the award for Reality Show of 2018.

Khloe Kardashian: While there was some cohesion between her sisters, Khloe opted to stand out in stark white Maticevski, wearing a look from the designers Resort 2019 collection. The look was very refreshing considering that she tends to stick to a body-con silhouette for 90% of the time, but the gown does feel a little bridal to me.

Kendall Jenner: The fashionista of the group opted for a Ronald Van Der Kemp Fall 2018 Haute Couture look that had a fashion-forward edge thanks to the arrangement of the pleated bodice.

Kim Kardashian: There is an illusion of nudity with this vintage Jean Paul Gaultier Maille Spring 1996 micro-mesh dress with a linear body graphic print that we’re not surprised about at all, from What Goes Around Comes Around. I’m just surprised that I don’t dislike the look, and that she didn’t opt for the jumpsuit.

Kourtney Kardashian: The oldest sister gave suiting a new spin in Vera Wang’s Spring 2019 blazer accented with sensual lace.

2018 LACMA Art + Film Gala

2018 LACMA Art + Film Gala

There was plenty more glamour on display on the red carpet at the 2018 LACMA Art + Film Gala on Saturday (November 3) in Los Angeles, California, joining Kiki Layne, Zoe Kravitz and Rowan Blanchard.

Dakota Johnson: I know sheer yokes aren’t favoured by most, but this Gucci look could’ve translated as too heavy and gothic-like for Dakota without it.

Salma Hayek: Seeing Salma in this Gucci gold gown, it’s feels like it would’ve been perfect for the ’80s soap Dynasty. The jewel play their part too.

Kourtney Kardashian In Marina Moscone – Sugar Factory Store Opening

Kourtney Kardashian hosted the grand opening of Sugar Factory on Saturday (July 28) in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

Blazer dresses are usually short, but when you turn a blazer, into a dress, that means it’s likely to be even shorter.

What Kourtney has on her side is that she’s petite, so this Marina Moscone Resort 2019 watermelon-hued piece doesn’t fall into seriously dangerous territory.

Keeping the fit loose, also works in her favour.

Do you like the look as it is? Or do you wish she opted for shorts or trousers?

Celebrities Love…Baby Blue Suits

The pantsuit is a big trend right now, with celebrities from Sylvia Hoeks to Cate Blanchett and Bella Hadid showcasing colourful two-pieces.

But baby blue seems to be the colour du jour.

Kourtney Kardashian is the latest to prove that a blazer-and-trouser combo is infinitely versatile, as she gave off a bit of a different vibe with her boxy, slouchy cut Sandro suit paired with heels while vacationing in Italy with her boyfriend Younes Bendjima.

Crucial observations:

– Hands in pockets for maximum insouciance/making sure it actually looks effortless.
– Who says you have to wear a shirt? She’s on vacation after all, and the white bra adds some serious sex-appeal to her look.

When it came to Amy Adams’ Stella McCartney look at the ‘Sharp Objects’ New York screening, I wasn’t quite feeling the vibe.

Crucial observations:

– What should’ve been a slouchy fit, looks a bit sloppy thanks to the length of the trousers.
– The necklace doesn’t complement the look.
– The bra attempts to save the look, but fails miserably.

2018 CFDA Fashion Awards Red Carpet Roundup

Here is a roundup of some of the other attendees at the 2018 CFDA Fashion Awards on Monday (June 4) held at the Brooklyn Museum in New York City, joining Cate Blanchett, Kim Kardashian, Sarah Paulson and many more.

Nina Dobrev: I really wanted more from Nina. More colour, more magic, more wow and something unexpected. I feel like we’ve seen this Zac Posen dress a thousand times.

Whoopi Goldberg: Do not adjust your sets, this is Whoopi wearing a hot pink in Christian Siriano Spring 2018 suit with a matching hat that wouldn’t look out of place at the Kentucky Derby. Even if you don’t like the fit or the comfortable shoes, at least this is guaranteed to put a smile on your face.

Voices In Displacement Gala

Amber Heard and Kourtney Kardashian were both in attendance at the Voices in Displacement Gala on Friday (May 4) in Beverly Hills, California.

Amber Heard: The actress generally tends to favour looks that are both sharply structured but also plenty sensual in mood. Such was the case here with this Brock Collection Pre-Fall 2018 look that paired the nipped-in, tailored peplum top with the seductiveness of her sheer lace skirt.

Kourtney Kardashian: Also opting for a sheer factor, Kourtney donned a Dundas Fall 2018 fringed dress that seemed more fitting for a music festival like Coachella than a gala. But, I do like that she kept the styling of the look so classic and sleek.
