Li Bing Bing In Elie Saab Couture – 2011 Cannes Film Festival “The Tree Of Life” Premiere

Li Bing Bing was also one of the many beautiful stars to take the red carpet for “The Tree Of Life” Premiere during the 2011 Cannes Film Festival this evening.

She opted to wear a stone coloured Elie Saab Spring 2011 Couture gown.

Unfortunately this gown needed a lot more bust to stop it from looking so loose and hollow.

I would’ve preferred someone more voluptuous wearing this gown.

Gwen Stefani In Stella McCartney – 2011 Cannes Film Festival “The Tree Of Life” Premiere

As the newest L’Oreal girl on the block, I was most excited about seeing Gwen Stefani at the 2011 Cannes Film Festival.

This evening the singer/designer arrived on the red carpet with her husband Gavin Rossdale, to attend “The Tree Of Life” Premiere.

Sadly my excitement turned to a tinge of disappointment at the overwhelming feeling of deja vu.

That’s because supermodel Iman has already worn this sequined same Stella McCartney jumpsuit in gold to the 2011 Met Gala just two weeks ago to the day, plus she also sported a similar mass of voluminous curly locks.

I don’t hate the look, but I wish I hadn’t seen it before and I also wish she’d opted for a gown.

I love that she opted for a punchy pink pout, instead of her trademark red lippie.

Zoe Saldana In Armani Privé – 2011 Cannes Film Festival “The Tree Of Life” Premiere

Thankfully Zoe Saldana heard my plea and didn’t opt for a minimalistic look for the 2011 Cannes Film Festival Premiere for “The Tree Of Life” this evening.

The beautiful actress looked stunning wearing an Armani Privé long bustier-style gown in white silk organza bodice and a red and white striped cascading skirt.

This is a breath of fresh air from Zoe for me. I love the detail on the hip.

Nicholas Kirkwood python metallic rose suede heels and a stunning gold cuff completed her look.

I haven’t complied my top 10 for Cannes yet, but I already know this look is it.

Mia Wasikowska In Valentino Couture – 2011 Cannes Film Festival “The Tree Of Life” Premiere

Mia Wasikowska arrived on the red carpet for the 2011 Cannes Film Festival “The Tree Of Life” Premiere wearing one of her favourite designers: Valentino.

The Australian actress seems to have not only taken a shine to the fashion house, but she seems to love wearing nude or neutral colours also.

Whilst I love her Valentino Spring 2011 Couture gown with its dreamy flowing skirt, I’m not such a fan of her hairstyle which drastically ages her.

The neck piece and the large ribbon are two parts of the gown I wish Mia had kept for her look.

I also find the coral colour of her clutch quite jarring for some reason. Something more delicate like a soft rose pink clutch would’ve been preferred.

Elizabeth Olsen In The Row – 2011 Cannes Film Festival “Martha Marcy May Marlene” Premiere

Following her Photocall look, Elizabeth Olsen wore her second The Row Fall 2011 look during the 2011 Cannes Film Festival this evening.

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen’s younger sister opted for a black ensemble which looks like a custom-made look inspired by a runway piece.

I personally prefer the runway look, but do like the flapper-esqe headband for an interesting touch.

Black Manolo Blahnik Hangisi jewel satin pumps, Cartier jewels and black quilted Chanel clutch completed the look.

Whilst I love that she didn’t go OTT with jewels, I would’ve loved it had she opted for some discrete petals under her top to cover up the twins which are firmly on display.

Tang Wei In Dolce & Gabbana – 2011 Cannes Film Festival “The Artist” Premiere

Wow…and not in a good way.

Tang Wei has worn many amazing looks during the 2011 Cannes Film Festival, but she got it so very wrong at “The Artist” Premiere this evening.

There are only two pictures available of her compared to 49 for Fan Bing Bing, so it’s clear that even the photogs didn’t think much of her look.

Tang wore a Dolce & Gabbana Fall 2011 dress with their signature star print for the fall season.

Her dress would be perfect for a photocall, but is falls way short for a Premiere dress, especially when paired with the jacket and bag.

I thought Bryce Dallas Howard’s look was my least favourite so far at Cannes, but I take that back because this is.

Every major European designer has a suite full of gowns in hotels throughout Cannes, so there is no excuse for this.

Cannes is not the time to do casual or fish net tights *shudders*

Fan Bing Bing In Elie Saab Couture – 2011 Cannes Film Festival “My Way” Photocall

Fan Bing Bing can’t be getting much sleep because the actress attended at photocall for her new movie, “My Way” earlier today during the 2011 Cannes Film Festival.

This time the actress wore a volcanic red Elie Saab Fall 2011 gown.

The one shoulder gown sees her sporting a less dramatic style, which many of you don’t appreciate as much as I do.

No jewels, no updo, just a bright red asymmetrical gown and a gorgeous smile doing all the talking.
