Sadie Sink Wore Maison Margiela Avant-Première To The ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ New York Photocall

After months of speculation, Sadie Sink made her first official appearance as part of the Spider-Man: Brand New Day cast at Columbia Pictures’ photocall held at Edge at Hudson Yards in New York on Friday, confirming that she has joined the franchise. Her character, however, remains under wraps.

For the occasion, Sadie wore a Maison Margiela Avant-Première burgundy silk-blend draped dress featuring delicate lace trims and exposed black bra detailing. Although this exact look wasn’t presented on the runway, the draped construction closely echoed Look 37 from Glenn Martens’ Fall 2026 collection.

Since taking the helm at Maison Margiela, Glenn Martens has embraced the house’s signature codes instead of rewriting them. Here, the lingerie references that Martin Margiela explored throughout the 1990s are unmistakable, but they are filtered through Martens’ own appreciation for fluid drapery and deconstructed silhouettes. The result feels recognisably Margiela while continuing the creative conversation between the founder’s legacy and the house’s new direction.

I’m especially enjoying the additional pops of colour. Sadie’s striking red hair, richer crimson lip, and the unexpected finishing touch courtesy of her white patent Maison Margiela Tabi pumps.

It’s gonna be a white pumps summer, y’all.
