Erin Doherty Wore Simone Rocha To The Royal Television Society Programme Awards
Erin Doherty attended the Royal Television Society Programme Awards, held at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London last night, where she was nominated in the Supporting Actor – Female category for Adolescence.

Louis Vuitton has been her go-to this awards season, but for this event she pivoted to Simone Rocha.
The label is known for its artful aesthetic and subversive take on romance, and we see that here in this Rosette taffeta top, accented with maxi floral appliqué and a gathered peplum hem.
However, this is a look that makes sense intellectually but struggles in execution. It has all the right ingredients – romance, contrast, a touch of eccentricity – but it doesn’t come together as a complete look.
Proportionally, the peplum-like flare hits at an awkward point, which feels like a sizing issue, with the top being too big and losing its shape. The floral appliqué should be the centrepiece that draws your eye, but it lays flat, so instead of adding impact, it reads slightly deflated.
Some of you will take issue with the Paula Rowan leather gloves, but I honestly think they save the look, helping to counterbalance the volume of the top. The trousers aren’t bad, but they almost feel too sensible for a look that’s trying to be poetic, which creates a disconnect between the top and bottom halves.
What do you think?
Ananya earrings completed her look.
