Marisa Abela Wore Normando To OMEGA House celebrates Milano By Night
Marisa Abela attended the Milano By Night event held at OMEGA House during the 2026 Winter Olympics.

The strength of this Normando Fall 2025 dress lies in its architectural shoulders and sculpted waist. On the runway, the sharp, almost exaggerated proportions felt directional. On Marisa, those same lines are softened by her presence, which stops the look from feeling too rigid, as could easily have happened given the coarse fabrication.

The modification to a deeper V neckline also works in her favour. It offsets the strong shoulders and keeps the silhouette from reading heavy through the top half. That extra skin creates breathing space. Without that plunge, this could have veered into overpowering territory.

The styling is where I pause. The leopard boots compete with the dress. On the runway, minimal white sandals kept the focus on the cut. Here, the boots pull the eye downward and introduce a slightly disjointed note. I understand the instinct to toughen it up, but I’m not convinced the print was necessary.
While the dress works for me, the overall look would have landed with a cleaner shoe choice.
