Reese Witherspoon Wore Lanvin To ‘The Last Thing He Told Me’ Season Two Special Event
Reese Witherspoon attended the Apple TV and Apple Books event at The West Hollywood EDITION celebrating season two of The Last Thing He Told Me in Los Angeles yesterday. The series is based on the bestselling novel, The First Time I Saw Him, by Laura Dave.
The actress does not star in the show, but she is involved behind the scenes through her production company, Hello Sunshine.
I add that context because it feels relevant to her choice of outfit. Reese very much had her producer hat on for this appearance, and that was reflected in her maroon hued Lanvin Pre-Fall 2026 skirt suit, which projected boss energy with a distinctly feminine slant.
I have to say, I love everything about this. And not just because it is not one of her signature dresses. The rich colour, the waist cinching belt and the sharp tailoring, paired with matching Christian Louboutin Erozee ankle strap pumps, strike that sweet spot between authority and elegance.
I suspect I would have been less enthusiastic had this been a trouser suit, as the skirt keeps the look rooted in classic femininity rather than borrowing from menswear codes.
