Naomi Watts Wore Gia Studios Out In New York

I know that some of you weren’t keen on me giving Naomi Watts the title of Street Style Star of 2025, but she was spotted out in New York yesterday delivering a look that makes it hard not to see her as a contender for 2026, even though this outfit feels like a clear extension of her Love Story press narrative.

This Gia Studios Resort 2026 suit feels like a considered nod, with clear echoes of Jackie Kennedy’s off-duty uniform.

The softly structured tailoring, muted blue-grey palette, and headscarf immediately recall the First Lady, who was heavily influenced by French and Italian fashion. While the scarf began as a style signifier for Jackie Kennedy, after JFK’s assassination it became part of a more guarded public image, with oversized sunglasses and a headscarf acting as a subtle shield from cameras while maintaining elegance.

The Kassandre Eileen bag further reinforces the reference, echoing the compact, under-the-arm styles that became synonymous with Jackie O’s heyday.

What makes this work so well on Naomi is how natural it feels within her current style language. Even without the context of the press tour, it would still read as a natural street-style look for her.
