Monica Barbaro Wore Marmar Halim To The ‘Crime 101’ UK Gala Screening 

Monica Barbaro was in London last night for the Crime 101 UK gala screening held at Odeon Luxe Leicester Square.

As you know, I have yet to be fully convinced by Monica’s Dior outings since Jonathan Anderson took over, so seeing her step out in this Marmar Halim Pre-Fall 2026 gown immediately felt like a reset, taking her back to basics and playing to her strengths perfectly.

The strapless, softly draped gown has a fluid elegance, with the gathered bodice and gently wrapped skirt creating a sculpted but unforced silhouette. The pale ivory tone keeps the look light and refined. It also brings to mind the kind of gowns Maria Grazia Chiuri created during her time at Dior, making it easy to see why Monica was drawn to this gown.

There is something quietly classical about this look. The drapery feels inspired by Grecian statuary, while the simplicity allows her natural poise to take focus.

This is exactly the direction I would love to see her continue in. The look was styled with gold sandals and Bvlgari jewels.
